One of the better Waffle House visits I've ever had. Showed up at about 10:30 PM and we were the only customers. The employees were friendly, we got our food right away, they checked on us frequently, and when they realized they missed one item from our order they took it off our bill but packed it up for us to take back to our hotel - without me asking for anything. Food was standard Waffle House fare - warm and filling. Kudos to the crew that were working the night we were there. This was our family's last stop before heading to Tulsa, and I really wish we had skipped it. We dined in while the woman who normally runs the place was on break, and the young girl taking orders had one of the worst attitudes I've ever seen. She was openly rude to the cook and spent the entire time loudly complaining about everything. Not welcoming. Our food was just okay. My eggs were forgotten, then came out scrambled even though I asked for over easy. Our p Waffle never arrived at all. At that point, we just wanted to leave. It was a full house, and I could hear other customers getting incorrect orders too. Overall, not a good experience. After a long day at work and a long drive home ahead, my co-worker and I decided to grab a bite to eat at Waffle House. My co-worker had never been to a Waffle House, which was such a sad thing that I vowed to take him and promised that he would love it. And of course, we ate breakfast at 8pm like kings! Service at this location, I'll just say it..suucks. I'm not sure where they dug up the bitter older fella who served us. His manager kept yelling questions to tables right over our heads. Then all of our food came at different times. Even the portions seemed smaller than their other locations (hash browns, I'm looking at you!). Workers here don't seem happy, just going through the motions (which sadly is common at this chain). Even so, for the people watching alone I added an extra star, because it gets odd here. Food is like any other WH, mediocre but adequate for a late night sit-down bite, a little better than fast food. (Though I do enjoy their aforementioned hash browns). I usually don't leave reviews, but feel the need to do for the safety of waffle houses awesome employees and the faithful patrons who come to experience one of the last most epic Americana experience that's still serves there delicious breakfast selection the same way when they first open. Well my most recent visit there was not anything I'd ever imagined. Let's say I won't be back due to one particular employee S_d_y! As I approach the establishment I noticed this employee taking a nap. As the other two welcomed me as I came in. And promptly started with my order. Coffee and breakfast bowl was cooked to perfection as usual. I finished paid my ticket and tipped both young ladies for their outstanding service. As I make my way out I was rudely bumb by the employee sydney Shepherd as I held the door open for her. As she walked past me like I did something wrong. I politely said excuse you. As she strolled pass me rolling her eyes. And saying that she didn't have time for my bs today. Once again excuse me,as she told me to leave and that she was going to be calling the police if I didnt while she grips a pair of shinny brass knuckles. At this point I was going to call them myself. Cops get there and she lied to the police by saying her manager had banned me from being at the establishment. I was notified by the police that I was to leave and if I was to come back that id be arrested for trespassing. Needles to say I won't be going back. I'd never been banned from waffle house or any establishment. Truly sad that one bad apple can ruin what I thought to be a great place. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but this was some of the worst food I've ever had. You don't go to Waffle House for a healthy experience. My go to is waffle with ham and my husband waffle with bacon. The waffles were so undercooked they were still doughy. The bacon and ham tasted old. Couldn't even chew the ham. The waiter said it was weird that my partner and I would be paying together and that my female cousin would be paying separately.... Stopped by around 11 pm on a late Saturday night after a long day of high school tennis before we hit the turnpike back to Tulsa. The familiar bright yellow sign gave way to a super clean and much more modern interior. It is apparently somewhat new according to our server Carmita who was very friendly and on top of our service. It has counter seating plus booths and a few tables. The bathroom was clean which is a nice barometer for any restaurant. My son had a Philly cheesesteak hashbrown bowl, and I had a Texas patty melt with hashbrowns. This was my son's first trip to a WH, and I think he was a bit overwhelmed by the vast menu options! . He enjoyed the bowl, citing the meat in it as really good. The patty melt was perfect - buttery and griddle toasted bread, soft, melty cheese and bacon plus onions. The hashbrowns could have been a bit more crispy for my liking, but that was my only complaint. I could have remediated that by requesting them crispy but forgot to. I also had a Mr. Pibb - I rarely drink soda let alone caffeine. No coffee for this guy either! (Strictly for medical purposes, not anything else). But the Pibb is hard to find in restaurants, and it was a nice flashback to my younger days. Check out this WH on your way to the City or on your way home eastward. This Waffle House is in a really convenient location. Went here after a day of hitting yard sales and EstateSales. Our waitress was polite and johnny on the spot. We ordered pecan waffles and bacon. Our order came out quick. It was great. One note: we came in a little after lunch 1:30 pm. The place looked like it had been hit hard The kitchen was disheveled. The floors were dirty too. Heck, the waitresses were splattered with pancake batter and food. It was a little off-putting. However, our waitress was so attentive. We would normally leave a Restaurant that looked like a mess. It was a thing of beauty to see the professional short order cook in action in front of the griddle.The food is not gourmet, but it is Good, fast and everything is cooked to order. This includes the bacon. Think about that for second. How many places cook the bacon in advance and stick it under a warming lamp until somebody orders it? Most places at this price point do that. This is cooked when you order it and how you order it. My hash brown bowl this morning cost $7 which is the same price as two McDonald's sausage muffins with egg. For that price you get to sit down in a sparkling clean restaurant, have genuine interactions with the professional staff that really seems to care about what they do and eat a solid meal cooked exactly how you like right in front of your eyes. On a road trip home from Texas we stopped here since people in our group had never been. Our friends were skeptical as the outside did seem a little sketchy but once you walk in you are greeted with the nicest staff and a more modern Waffle House. The heart of this place is the amazing staff! We were greeted right away by a hard working staff. We sat at the barstools right by the kitchen and watched our delicious food be prepared. I split the grandslam and it's definitely the best thing on the menu. You got a whole waffle which is to die for! You also get 2 slices of meat we got sausage which was delicious! Then we got hash browns which we're amazing and super delicious. We also got a biscuit instead of toast cause ya know it's the south. The meal was very filling and had so much variety and flavors! Was passing through Oklahoma City on our way to LA from Chicago. We stayed at the Days Inn next door and wanted to get a quick bite. It was very convenient to the highway and many of the hotels nearby. Although the place wasn't the fanciest, the service from the cook/waitress was great and the food hit just the spot. The cook's name was Sidney and he was very nice and asked us if we were pleased with our food. Our waitress's name was Kayla and she was very nice to us and was very attentive. My drink was empty for the whole dining experience and right as i was about to leaving she finally refilled it.
