The typical Waffle House I go to is equal parts sketchy and dirty. This one was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very pleasant to talk to, the building was clean, and everything came out hot and fresh. I had the texas toast breakfast melt. First not-very-friendly Waffle House I've ever visited. They're offering a very limited menu as well. Brought out my hash browns without the sausage gravy, then let them get cold, then the manager came and got the hash browns and put lukewarm sausage gravy on top telling me "be careful it's piping hot." ? This is a must place for breakfast. From the time we walked in with a good morning greeting, there were 7 people behind the counter either giving orders to the cooks, or picking up prepared foods for customers. Shayla was our server. She greeted us with a smile and a menu, asking what we'd like to drink, took our order, asking all the right questions. Immediately our order was called out to Danny and Katelyn, the cooks. Without hesitation as they are also preparing other customers' orders, they started our order. Watching the cooks are like watching a dance, precision, organization, and hitting the exact spot needed for execution. No papers to follow as the orders are called out, just an incredible memory. A hidden secret at Waffle House is their country ham. It is always prepared perfectly, not super salty, and a must have. Our breakfast showed up quickly. It was cheap, $17 and some change which included tax. Kudos to the staff, your owner must be very happy having you as their employees. read more

Ordered the all star; didn't get the bacon that comes with the meal. My friend ordered scrambled eggs and sausage; there was quite literally a twig in his scrambled eggs. We talked to the manager and she quite literally asked us how the twig got in the eggs. I've tried to get my husband to eat at Waffle House around these parts and he won't go with me so I decided to take advantage of traveling solo. The restaurant is basic as far as set up and amenities but the food is solid. The staff is friendly and they're very efficient. The waffles are nice and soft which is my preference, and I love the hash browns with sautéed onions. Also they have really good coffee here too. read more

Went in in a bad mood because I was in pain, went out happy and never thought about my pain while there! The server was a doll, everyone seemed happy and I've never seen such efficiency anywhere! It was BUSY on a Friday morning at 10AM, the cooks never missed a beat and the lady with the BOSS cap on was just delightful, she sings like a bird yet never stops flipping, pouring and stirring! This was one of the WORST Waffle Houses I've ever been to and I've been to a ton of Waffle Houses. The sad part is that I had been craving Waffle House for weeks and decided to stop in on my way back to Birmingham after a horrendous road trip to the middle of nowhere in beach traffic. The restaurant itself seemed fine and we were greeted when we walked in. It's when we sat down that things started to get weird. The waitress completely ignored me the entire time. She got our drink orders and brought my partner's drink but didn't bring mine. In fact, I waited for about ten minutes for her to bring me a water and a milk. When she took our food orders she didn't even turn to me to take my order. I had to ask her to come back, take down my order and put it in. After that, the experience had been completely ruined. I would suggest training your staff and keeping a closer eye on them because behavior like that is just not okay. read more

Our sever initially messed up our order. Bacon instead of sausage, hash browns instead of grits. When they realized the issue Sparky who was on grill fixed the bacon problem immediately. I didn't mention the grits because hash browns are pretty dope anyways. She didn't give us our ticket or any refills but Sparky again stepped in and gave us refills and helped ring us up. Sparky went above and beyond and turned what would have been a one star experience into a five star one. We will be back for sure!! read more

This use to be my go to but something has seriously gone wrong. They don't listen and they are rude. My order was simple (sausages and cheese eggs only) and it was over cooked and horrible. The first waitress who took my order when I say it when I want it she tell another waitress to take my order.
