Angus Cheeseburger (1/4 Lb.) with Hashbrowns Scattered

This Waffle House had a parking lot configuration that allowed me to pull through two spaces with my 20 ft trailer and park easily. The staff here were super friendly and provided excellent service. I ordered a Cheeseburger Deluxe plate with Hash Browns. The food was great and exactly how I expected it to be. The short order cook wore a "Rock Star" shirt which was an award for being one of their best cooks.

Well it was a blast from the past!!!! We needed something to eat and they were with in the parking area so it was a good match. My dining partner had the traditional breakfast with 2 sunny side eggs, crispy hash browns and sausage patty & bacon. I had a newer menu item which was very yummy! It was a hashbrown bowl with eggs (scrambled) cheese and sausage crumbles. Yes-I would definitely call it a heart attack in a bowl. It was delicious. I ate about half. Coffee was great-service excellent. A cook and a server........period dot! Amazing!!!! What can I say about the property? Does it have ambience? Of course it does!!!! The ambience of a Waffle . And old fashioned Diner style property with bar seating by the griddle. Gotta love it if you're looking for upscale with hefty prices this is not your place.

This isn't just a waffle house, it's a waffle home;) If you get Pepper as your waiter you are very lucky and will have the best time!

This place was Rockin and Rollin but our server didn't miss a beat! Ronnie was there to get us coffee and told our order QUICK. I enjoyed some smothered, covered, capped, and diced scattered Hashbrowns with some eggs. The Mrs had a waffle with eggs n grits. It's easy to get a great and affordable breakfast without meat here. So many options because it's all customizable. Loved watching the meat and egg flat top guy and Ronnie banter back and forth. It was a wonderful experience!

Good typical southern breakfast. Waffles are always hot and tasty. Wish they existed in California and Arizona.

The food was good, but $32 for 2 grilled chicken sandwiches and a kiddie cheeseburger? Thought that was a little steep.

Gluten free Gold mine…read more I can't say enough good things about Scruff Grill. As someone who has struggled to find safe, delicious, actually enjoyable gluten-free meals, this place absolutely blew me away. Their gluten-free options are incredible--thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and far beyond the usual "substitute and hope for the best" approach most restaurants take. The gluten-free buns are a standout: soft, sturdy, and honestly the best I've ever had. They don't fall apart! That alone would earn them five stars, but it gets even better. They use dedicated fryers, something that's nearly impossible to find, and their staff is impressively knowledgeable about cross-contamination, ingredients, and allergen safety. I felt understood, respected, and genuinely cared for. Every bite was packed with bold, unmatched flavor. It's clear the team here takes pride in what they create, and it shows in the entire dining experience. Scruff Grill has earned my gratitude and my repeat business. If you're gluten-free--or even if you aren't--you have to try this place. It's a gem.

Very helpful and answered all our questions. The food was good but I felt alittle salty which my sister liked. So really it's based on preference. The smash burger was just okay. Fries were good. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked just the way I wanted, with a nice grilled finish that gave it that classic steakhouse taste. The broccoli was hot and fresh, and the sweet potato was a perfect side after a full day of travel, warm, filling, and a great complement to the steak. I also started with a Caesar salad, which was fresh and loaded with crunchy croutons and shaved parmesan. This made for a very satisfying dinner stop just off I-44, and it was an easy, dependable place to unwind for the evening in Rolla. LongHorn Steakhouse 1600 Old Wire Outer Rd Rolla, MO 65401

She became more engaged when, I believe, she saw we were not having the best experience so I give 4/5 stars for noticing but also because she was more attentive and gave me an extra plate quickly when I asked bc of the steak swimming in clarified butter that was supposed to be in a separate dish for the lobster instead of floating around the plate. Ribeye was actually really thin. You can see in the pics, about the same size as a thin ribeye from a recent grocery purchase I made. It was actually cooked well - for the size I would have expected overdone. Biggest issue is when I cut a piece and started to chew I had the shockwave from teeth on bone. A little chunk of bone was still in the ribeye. Pic included. I told her after we paid so she could warm the kitchen staff. Ribs - fine. Lobster - rubber. Could have thrown it across the room and it would have bounced at least twice. See pics. Also, the butter issue. Sides - side salad was crisp and the cucumber was fresh. Mash was interesting, and that could be because it's processed potato, a gluey issue from over-mixing, or that it was also taking a swim in the spilled butter. Fries were very tasty. Mac was okay. Overall spend with drinks was $109 with a 20% tip. I would not say it was worth it. We basically ate the salad and bread and called it a day.
