It's been roughly 12 years since I last ate at a Waffle House so when our plane landed in Savannah and we immediately drove by one, I knew it was time for breakfast. This location is conveniently located right next to the airport with easy on and off access from the main road making it a no brainer to stop here. This location wasn't too busy at 9am on a Thursday which made sitting down, ordering, and leaving a wonderful 30 minute process which was fantastic. Our waitress was super efficient and quick during our visit which was nice, while the menu is what it is, a collection of basic breakfast meals with something for everyone. I ended up ordering the breakfast grits bowl which consisted of grits, American cheese, scrambled eggs, and a mixed variety of sausage and bacon. The breakfast itself was served piping hot and was a pretty solid and hearty breakfast that tasted good, I certainly didn't have any complaints. My only real issue with this Waffle House was the human feces that was all over the toilet paper dispenser in the men's wash room, let's just say I decided to not use it while I was there. Overall, Waffle House is Waffle House. You don't come here for the best food in the world or for anything special, you come here for solid and fast breakfast food that'll hit the spot. I love to try small, locally owned, mom and pop shops. This Waffle House was off the hook, it's nice to see a little restaurant like this in a sea of fast food/chain restaurants. Truly an inspiration to all small business owners. They were serving up some delicious, hot coffee in a mug. All the food looked amazing as I watched the chefs expertly prepare a wide range of breakfast cuisine. I was able to briefly speak with one of the chefs who told me it was his dream to help this Waffle House earn a Michelin star, if it were up to me, I'd give them 3. After a round of golf at crosswinds, I decided to stop here at the waffle house. Order a lunch sandwich which came with bacon. My first instinct was not good. Lack of personal always is a red flag. Yet I decided to stay any way. The first lady which took my order, with tats and face jewelry, was very loud and speaking to several people at a time. This was confusing to me, but I moved forward and gave her my order. I explained to have bacon well done. Another young lady stepped into the picture, the tat lady seemed to chastise her because she was not doing her job. Now this lady took my order again. As before I informed this lady well done bacon. First time in this part of the country and I was anxious to try out some food. We got in at 1 am and went to the Waffle House which was across the street from the hotel. We were the only customers and the first thing I noticed was how slow the waitress was compared to what you might see in California. Kinda reminded me of service in Mexico where they seem to be in no rush. She made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee which was nice of her. The menu prices were the lowest I have ever seen. I felt like I was in Las Vegas where some places offer steak and eggs for around $6. Grits, eggs, waffle, toast, coffee, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns with onions cost me $12. While I could nit pick at some of the food items, I won't, because really all this food was so cheap. In California this meal would easily been around $40 read more

First off this Waffle House get the award for the cleanest Waffle House I've even been to, not that none of them are ever clean but this one was "eat off the sparkling floor kind of clean". So me and my coworker walked on over for dinner from our hotel. Not only was this the only restaurant to eat at walking distance but I was happy it was....love this place, I really do! Since I don't have these where I live I seem to order the same meal every single time...I would like to venture out sometime but not this time. So I order my All Star meal which costs $6.59 and gets me eggs, toast, grits, bacon and a waffle. I could totally eat all this in one sitting but I sometimes like this time save my waffle for the next morning. I like to make a butter waffle sandwich with it for breakfast. And I always get the Alice's Sweet tea (free refills). The eggs are all buttery & cooked just right, bacon nice and crispy, grits with buttery goodness, toast with buttery goodness and a waffle that still tastes good the next day that comes with butter on the side. I love butter can you tell? Now there was only the two us in there at dinner time plus the waitress & cook. Refilling drinks without being asked and making sure we had everything. They were fast and friendly BUT I did have to ask for my sweet tea twice and she did mess up my friends hash brown order and gave him onions in it instead of mushrooms but maybe she had other things on her mind that day so regardless it was a great meal we enjoyed so we forgave her this time. read more

This used to be a regular place for us to eat. This used to be the best Waffle House in our area. Since Covid happened they have changed management and staff. The daytime cook is terrible. Scrambled eggs simply means the yolk is broken. If you ask them to actually scramble the eggs, they will purposely over cook your eggs. I would recommend you pick another Waffle House. read more

First off, the large bowl of bert's chilli was interesting. It is a very meaty homemade chilli. Each mouthful was a delicious explosion of spiced chilli flavored hamburger. It satisfied my hunger as a meal by itself. My wife's bacon chicken cheese salad was served initially without the bacon. Carrots, purple cabbage and cheese ingredients were also mentioned. The best part of the salad was the freshly grilled chicken breast and bacon. Agree with previous reviewers comment on cleanliness. This is the cleanest waffle house that I have visited. So we drive 3 1/2 hours to have breakfast/lunch in our home Waffle House, after being on vthe road for that length of time made it home to the Waffle House we normally have breakfast. Always comfortable to be at home. We waited 20 minutes to be seated but that's how much we previously liked this place. So much until we know waitresses by there names. Today was unbelievable, we ordered and in probably about 10 minutes we received my steak, my daughter's and wife waffles. Another 30 minutes go by and we ask for a manager, which I still don't believe we talked to one or they did not identify themselves. At that point they said the food would be up shortly, 5 minutes and it showed up, COLD EGGS, COLD HASH BROWNS, with toast so COLD the butter wasn't melting. Waffle House on pooler parkway is horrible. The server named Charity is not good at all. She is not clean at all. She does not wash her hands and will not of asked to. After sitting for over one hour, the server said there was nothing she could do about the wait or the food quality. We flew into town for a wedding and stayed a hotel just down the road. We went to breakfast with an individual who required a service dog. One of the patrons in the restaurant was rude about the dog, so to avoid any issues our group decided to move tables. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic! She not only took our food but made sure to chat with us about our trip and the upcoming holiday. When we went to ask for the check, she let us know it was comped and thanked our friend for his military service. Probably about three groups of people in the entire diner. Our waitress was VERY rude when it came to ordering and not to mention rolling her eyes at us.
