We were staying at an RV campground in Savannah and our fridge had not been working this whole trip. So I was so happy to find the Eggs Up Grill! We can park the RV, and leave the dog with the air on , and we are able to watch her through the window. Today Kristin was our server extraordinaire! Upbeat, pleasant and she brought us coffee right away. We had the same two dishes that we had in Hendersonville, the Greek scrambler and Dave had the Chimichurri Bowl. Both were done perfectly! We had grits and an English muffin for sides. The atmosphere was light and bright and they look like they do a ton of take out! We will definitely return again, when we come this way! read more

So I visited on 2 separate occasions and had two completely different experiences. On my initial visit a group of 4 came in on a Saturday morning and although the restaurant was pretty full we only had a 5 minute wait. Our server was very sweet and answered all our menu questions as this was the first time visiting for half the group. I ordered the texican bowl but instead of chorizo I was able to swap out turkey sausage. Absolutely delicious. The spice from the fresh jalapeños and the over easy eggs was to die for! They definitely go potato heavy which I get since it's cheap and filling. Now on to my second visit. Once again a group of 4 on a Saturday morning, however this time there was no wait and coincidentally we were sat at the same table. I opted for the Baja chicken omelette. Food took longer than last time and when it arrived my entire plate was cold. The butter on the toast wasn't even melted. Our server who was super sweet apologized profusely and had the kitchen remake my food. When it came back out , half the food was lukewarm. I'm not sure if they potatoes and toast sit in a warmer but I wasn't about to send my food back a second time. My omelette had unripe avocado pieces on top which I I could not eat. Major bummer since the avocado was one of the reasons I chose this meal and they forgot the salsa. I told my server and she brought the salsa right over. Overall between both experiences I give it a 2.5/5. Had my most recent visit been my only impression I absolutely would never come back read more

Our first brunch experience here did not dissapoint. We heard it was tasty, and boy was it ever. I had country-fried steak, eggs, grits, with a buttermilk biscuit and it was marvelous. My wife had the Creme Brulee French toast with chicken tenders, which was a special order, and she said it was one of the most flavorful meals she has ever had. The coffee is fragrant and strong, just like I like it black, and our waitress, Autumn, kept my cup topped off. The atmosphere is old-school 50's diner with some booths, and lots of tables and chairs. I enjoyed the kitchen being visable through the large serving window. The food came quickly and the staff all seemed to love their jobs. Very clean and inviting decor. The only negative was everything was really pricy, but overall, a wonderful meal. read more

This is my favorite place to get breakfast, lunch or dinner! Everything is delicious! I love the make your own breakfast sandwhich on rye with swiss and and an over easy egg. They must use farm eggs. The yolks are huge. Also, they do a perfect over easy every time. So good. read more

It's bright and sunny inside and we had delightful service. Our orders came out quick and everything was piping hot. The food is decent, not a super high end place but the price is about right for the quality. I was happy that my steak was cooked correctly for my steak and eggs and my husband enjoyed his sugary coffee dessert it was a good place to come for a brunch meeting. read more

Eggs Up Grill is a new restaurant located in the Berwick area of Savannah. I ordered my food though the "Toast Takeout" app, so I do not have any opinions about the service aspect of the business in this review. Ordering through the app was very simple, with an easy process to make any substitutions or modifications. I ordered the "Little Waffle in the Hen House" (Half waffle, two eggs and choice of bacon or sausage) breakfast classic which is perfect for me. I can never eat a whole waffle, so this combination was great. The app informed me when my food was ready, and pickup was fast and effortless. The food was very filling, and the eggs were scrambled with cheese as requested. Everything tasted delicious and I had no complaints. The restaurant also offers omelets, biscuits, salads, burgers, burritos, and family bundles. There appears to be something for everyone on the menu. They are open for breakfast and lunch. It is nice to have a dedicated breakfast restaurant in this part of town, and I will be back soon. read more

We came back for a workday lunch. It's quiet so we got our food in time. Yet we still failed to get a soda refill throughout the time we were eating here, because our waitress is too busy talking to other waitresses. We could only get a small to go cup in the end. The avocado toast is a bit disappointing. You would think it would be warm, or at least room temperature--wrong, it's icy COLD!!! They toasted the bread, but everything they put on top of the bread is directly from the fridge. Avocado and salsa are both cold cold, immediately taking away any warmth of the toasted bread. The portion is small--you only got two very small extra thin slices of bread, plus two eggs. For $7.99, it's better to order something else. My husband's lunch burger looks decent! My husband and I came across this franchise while on a trip to South Carolina. We were very satisfied with the food and service there. Imagine my shock when I discovered that there was a location in my neighborhood! So, of course, we decided to visit our local establishment with hopes of receiving the same level of service here. They did not disappoint. The food was exactly how I remembered it to be. The portions were a good size and our food was received hot off the grill. Our server was very pleasant (for it to have been so early in the morning) and was very helpful in helping us choose from the vast menu items. What sets this place apart from the other breakfast joints we've patronized are the wide variety of beverages available. It was nice to have a Mocha Latte as opposed to plain coffee. They also serve Mimosas! And OATMEAL. Because sometimes, you want a decent bowl of oatmeal, you know? Hubby had the Breakfast Burritos, which he enjoyed but they would have been better if the peppers were grilled as opposed to raw. But, we won't hold that against them. He'll just remember to request it that way. I had the Grand Classic breakfast and it was delish. We left with full, satisfied bellies! The establishment was very clean and cozy. And we were checked on often to ensure that we were enjoying our experience. First and most importantly, I have a severe food allergy to onion and because of that I had to switch out what typically comes with the omelet as a side. Not a big deal as it's something that I'm used to doing when I eat out. That said, I went to eat the substituted tomato side and found a chunk of onion. (My wife tasted it to confirm.) We didn't feel that saying something would be worth it because of the server's lack of attentiveness to us, but the kitchen staff really, REALLY need to be mindful as I would have had a trip to the hospital if I hadn't been paying attention. After that I was cautious when eating my omelet as it typically is served with onion. I did ask for a substitution of mushrooms and it wasn't included. The server did offer to get a side of mushrooms but she seemed put off at that point and I declined. It took quite a while for our food to come out and, once it did, it wasn't anything to write home about, especially given the added concern about being able to safely eat it. The one positive thing I can say is that the iced coffee was good. It isn't somewhere that we will be coming back to though. read more

I have been wanting to stop in since the new year and finally got here! I was greeted by two friendly young ladies that were knowledgeable about the menu and complementary of the establishment. I was placing a to go order, I was able to place and pay for my order at the door. My wait was pleasant and not long. The restaurant was bright and clean and surprisingly large. I ordered the Goodness Gracious Omelette. It was a light, egg white omelette with spinach, onions, mushrooms, and feta cheese. I added turkey sausage. Delicious! For the sake of my mom, I gave 3 stars because she actually somewhat enjoyed her meal but I personally would've given a max of 2 stars. I really wanted to like my experience at Eggs Up Grill!! I've been looking forward to checking them out. I will say that the set up is nice with a modern diner vibe and is fairly clean but the bathroom needed attending to. Also, I appreciated the warm welcome from staff :) and that they offered military discount! However, there was a very disturbing smell that I noticed when we walked in. It smelled like dirty mop water, is the best way I can describe it. I had the Blueberry Lemonade and Founder's Hash Benedict. My mom had the (regular) Eggs Benedict. The drink was ok but I think it was overpriced at $4 for a flavored lemonade. Our food came out fairly quickly but at room temperature. My eggs should've been poached as described on the menu but were barely cooked and my yolk was completely runny. In addition to that, my corn beef hash was half cooked (noticeable by the 2 different colors) and cold. I told my waiter I couldn't eat it because the eggs were way too runny. She kindly offered to have it remade. They made a fresh meal and thankfully it was hot this time and the eggs were actually poached but the corn beef was still half cooked and the hollandaise sauce was lumpy this time for some odd reason. The home fries were completely unseasoned and were basically just half baked potatoes. My meal was somewhat better the second time around but still lackluster to say the most and didn't taste fresh all. I spent the rest of the day trying to settle my stomach from that distasteful meal. :( read more

While getting my car serviced I decided to try out this place since it's close by. The menu looked different and appetizing so I was excited to try it but the food was just bland. No seasoning and everything has the same odd aftertaste. Our waiter was very competent and food was quick. As we are eating the employees started to gossip very loudly, it wasn't a problem until they started to talk about war and throats being slit. Imagine trying to eat your bland food and behind you is multiple waiters talking about gore and violence. It was absolutely disgusting behavior and it took everything in me not to fact check their uneducated misinformation they were spewing. Will never eat at any establishment this restaurant is affiliated with again. read more

Came here solo for breakfast. I had the founders hash with poached eggs, toast, grits and a side of hollandaise. My food was warm and came in a timely fashion but my grits were watery (in my opinion) and my hollandaise was lumpy. I was really excited to try the hash but there was nothing special about it. It reminded me of canned corn beef hash. I was expecting chunks of corn beef in the hash because it was supposed to be homemade but I didn't get that Customer service and warmth is very important to me and I feel I didn't get that. I often had to track down my waiter and she didn't check on me once. I'm not sure if I'll come here again just because there was nothing memorable about my food. read more

Wanted to try breakfast here and found it to be average. The highlight was the waitress who was very pleasant and hard working. The food was average but to be expected for a diner. One of my biggest complaints was that they were cleaning up as it was an hour until closing and using a Lysol smelling cleaner at tables around us and it is not the smell you like as you are trying to eat your food. Very clean restaurant, including the restroom. Wait staff was friendly. Our meal was sitting on our table in about 15 minutes after we ordered. I had the homestead platter. The sausage gravy exceeded expectations. Typically sausage gravy is very bland in most places. I would have given 5 stars if not for the fact that my breakfast meat (bacon and sausage links) were room temperature when served. Not sure what thats about since my eggs and sausage gravy were hot. Whatever happened there should be addressed by management. Over all I will try Eggs Up Grill again if my breakfast meat is cold next time that will be my last visit. read more

Super disappointed! This place has the best wait staff, but the cooks don't make the food fresh! My breakfast came out room temperature and when I sent it back, all they had done was heat it up instead of make it fresh... as if I couldn't tell. I hope the ownership makes some changes here. UPDATE: Went again, and AGAIN got cold food! And again, when I asked for them to remake it fresh, Heath the owner said no. I decided to not eat any of my food and just pay for the meal and leave. Before leaving I asked to speak with Heath and we discussed the cold food issue and he said that they would ensure fresh and hot food next time. They also only charged me half which was nice, but I would've paid full, no prob. I just want hot and fresh food. read more
