I tried to come to this waffle house on Super Bowl Sunday and it was absolutely packed. I ended up leaving and returning the next day where there was hardly anyone in there, but I loved it. My server was nice but she did keep forgetting items and I had to repeat myself a lot. The food came out good though, and I had food to take home. I had the All-Star breakfast with chicken sausage and my eggs scrambled with cheese in the grits. The ambience at waffle House is the same pretty much no matter where you go. Eggs, grits toast is what I ordered. Eggs came first. They were fine. Toast and grits they said were coming up.. 10 minutes later, eggs were gone. Grits arrived. Toast is coming up. 10 minutes later, grits are gone. Still no toast. I've asked three times at this point. Not busy: room in booths and counter. Staff is hanging out talking. No one anywhere near the toasters. At one point one of the staff brought a fry pan she was cleaning into the main cooking area Not cleaning it in a sink. Holding a pan filled with cleaner in her hand while standing by the grill. Right where food is being cooked. I'm not sure if any cleaner spilled into the eggs, but it looked possible. This seems like a HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. At checkout my food server commented that I didn't get my toast. She then took a long time to look up the cost of the toast and remove it from the bill. I didn't ask for that, and it was hardly worth the $1 she gave me. Just a waste of time. She did offer to (and I quote) "see if someone could make some toast to go". Toast. To go. WTF. This is the worst Waffle House ever, and I've been to (and loved!) most of them. This one is a. Nightmare. UNSAFE FOOD PREPARATION is the takeaway here. Somebody's going to get sick (or worse). Sarah is the absolute best! On April 27, 2025 I ran in to pick up a to go order that we had placed online. The staff was working quickly to get our meal ready, and when it was ready, Sarah walked it over to me and went through every single thing in the order. She was so polite, organized, kind, and efficient! She told me to have a beautiful day and her positivity was refreshing! Most of the time when you pick stuff up from any restaurant, they hand it to you and hope for the best. Because they're always so many hands in the pot with all to go orders, sometimes things get missed or forgotten. Sarah taking this extra step shows genuine initiative. I had a great experience at this location. Jay was behind the counter and working her backside off. She was nonstop smiling and cleaning and really giving it her all. Our Server was Janelle. She was friendly and the food was good. But what made this experience so nice was to witness the interaction that Janelle had with another customer. There was a lady dining alone and Janelle was her Server as well. You could see that there was friendly communications between the two during the entire visit. Upon time to leave, it was clear that the customer had some major mobility issues. She had a walker and was struggling a bit. The restaurant was slow on this day, and Janelle was able to assist the customer to her car while holding her drink. It was a very nice thing to see. They were chatting friendly to one another the entire time. I mentioned to her that it was quite nice to see someone take pride in their job and to be so nice. She would tell me that the customer and her husband were regulars at the restaurant. Her Husband had recently passed away and now she was here alone. Janelle was doing what nice people do and it was great to see. In this current age of everybody is out for themselves, Janelle was a gem of a Server and took pride in making sure her customer was happy. Waffle House is lucky to have her. I hadn't been to a Waffle House for more than a decade, when my companion and I decided spur-of-the-moment to try this Waffle House after church. It was busy, as we got the last booth. The waitress was busy but friendly. The menu is pretty limited, but we went with classics: she got a Hash Brown Bowl and I got a chocolate chip waffle and bacon. The food was done in a reasonable time and well made. Let's face it: Waffle House is never going to be fancy or gourmet, but this was exactly what we wanted: well made basic diner breakfast food. Went into Waffle House this morning to grab a order to go I had this nasty lady tell me they stop doing to go orders. I asked why she told me they rather we eat in that small restaurant. That's ridiculous. Also was told that if you do order you have to eat majority of your food before you can get a to go box what kind of backwards mess is that? All the way around a good experience at this Waffle House. Located just off of I 275. I come to this WH almost every year I'm in the area since hotel is one block away. It has been consistently above average. My most recent experience was a mid morning Friday breakfast. Luckily I found them not busy at all. The lot and walks were clear and easily can be located right off the road. Walked in to locate a place and it was not busy. Every table not occupied was cleared. There were many tables to choose from since not busy. I noticed the back area in the kitchen was clean. Service was prompt to our table after finding a place to sit down. Already knowing what we want our order was put in quickly, coffee and drinks put on the table immediately. Food on the table in less that 10 minutes. No complaints on taste and love the All-Star breakfast that throws a waffle and two sides in. Overall an above average experience. I would return. read more

Worst service.... And the funny thing is I didn't even order food! I was told by one server that if I am doing a to go order it'll be a 15 min wait. When I got to the cashier to make that order, she immediately refused me and said they are NOT doing Togo orders. Father and Son whom are both disabled Veterans got denied the discount at this store. Our waitress April told us that "New Mgmt did away with that." Food is always good when you go at night because the night shift never messes the order up. Shout out to "E" the night time cook! He is always so up beat and happy to be there and never gets it wrong. Not sure of the name of the guy with the mustache or the blonde guy but they are always on point and ready to put a smile on your face. Had a great breakfast here on the way back to Tampa last night. We were entertained by the speed in which Beau and Nicky worked through the mini-rush that was about 12 people walking in all at once! And the food wasn't too bad either. In fact, my bacon, egg and cheese biscuit couldn't have been better, to be honest. And amazingly enough, I've never actually has waffles from WAFFLE House before, until last night. I was surprised at how good they were. They need real butter though. That hydrogenated oil spread that looks sorta like butter is freakin' suspect as hell. Other than that, all was good and I would definitely return again.
