The service is good the food is good but the music is so loud that I thought I was going out clubbing at 9:30 in the morning. Not for me.

Food was not great the 2 young ladies working there Tissa and another young lady did great, but there cool was rude loud and speaking very out of line with them definitely needs to be replaced or spoken to . The girls did great the cook was unprofessional and rude to them you don't do that in front of customers . The food was burnt bacon, steaks and sausage we ate it . Ambiance was ok the servers made it cool definitely follow up on the cook at this location his name is Tim . He needs to learn how to talk to employees especially while customers present. read more

The "Awful Waffle " gets a bad rap. I only get to eat at them while traveling for work as I live in Illinois now and there's only (1) in Collinsville (4) hours from my home. I've been enjoying The Waffle House for over (50) years, it's simple and unpretentious: My wife tells me I should just go to The Huddle House"I Scoff At That!". I tell her I was raised in Tennessee why don't you just ask me to drink Pepsi!! (NOT!) My son and I stopped at the Texarkana location for dinner and as always had "The All Star". Having worked at a Waffle House during College...We try to visit a Waffle House whenever we travel through the South! However, this particular one left us re-thinking that plan. The server appeared to want to be anywhere but here. The condiments on the tables were disgustingly dirty. It looked like they were stocking the line with items such as milk and syrup as there were carts full of items sitting around all over. (The chocolate milk cartons stayed in the same place the whole time we were there - the whole hour - and never were put into the refrigerator). The food was served quickly and was less than mediocre. Ordered the all star breakfast around 11:45 on July 4th. It wasn't very busy. I ordered to go. The person who took my order was Morgan. He offered an upsell for cheese on the eggs for $1 more, which I accepted. He also broke down all charges to me when I questioned how the price jumped from $7 to $9 and some change. (They charge extra for take out, which he states was posted on the door). As I walked out, I glanced back to see a couple of things posted on the door. I doubt anyone reads the door when they do come in, though. Morgan was very courteous. The only thing that he did that could've been better was placing my money on the counter to count it out. He placed the change on the counter as well. That's always been a pet peeve of mine. I hand you the money, so please hand it back. As for the food, it was good. he asked me was a waffle too dark for me, and I told him yes. They remade it. He always responded to me with a "yes ma'am". Asked me for condiment preferences, and I told him what I wanted, all the while he responded courteously with "yes ma'am." I'll probably go back here if I want good service. read more

Traveling through, we stopped at the Waffle House in Texarkana. And let me tell you we really enjoyed it. Had eggs, bacon, biscuits. And it was all good. And part of the fun was the down home feel and the diner atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. read more

The staff had made many mistakes on our order, Cannot cook your EGGS correctly, No big party seating so I had to eat separated from my family, and to have the quote "Waffle House" how is it that the $2.00 biscuit and gravy better than your original waffles????? It's good hangover food but not so much good breakfast food. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It comes with hash browns and I added grilled tomatoes to the hash browns. The tomatoes were nothing special. They were just a spoonful of diced tomatoes on a plate buried under my hash browns. The best thing on the plate ended up being the bread that held my meat. That buttery toast got soaked in the grease of my Philly and made me want to eat just bread. I finished the sandwich more for the bread than for the meat. The best part of the experience is how fast the crew in there worked. They seemed to be running! My party of three ordered food and received all 3 orders ten minutes later!! read more

It was more than a year since my last time at the Waff'h. I'm a sucker for a good lunch counter. For old time sake I got a Waffle and Texas BLT. The waffle was better than I remember. Maybe it was so good because I have had to share a waffle iron at the hotel. I don't think that's why it was soo good. Stopped in this Waffle House for some good/quick eats. This was a great choice, Terrell, Alex, Kelly, Jen the whole crew on duty while I was there were model servers, definitely a great example of customer service. Polite. Attentive. Friendly, oh yeah and the food was great as always. The best chicken sandwiches, raisin toast, and sirloin steaks. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by. We always have a great experience at this WH. We started at the Summerhill WH, but it was packed, the empty booths were dirty, and no one greeted us. I immediately decided to take the 5 minutes to go to the Stateline location. They were packed, but all the empty booths were cleared and cleaned. They also greeted us immediately. waffle is usually a great place for friends to meet up after everything else has closed, except for this one. i was really disappointed with the attitudes of the server and grill cook. i get it, people have a bad night, im a waitress too after all, it's understandable. but after we told them about the sticky booths and the ants crawling around us, out waitress laughed at us and just shook her head. we couldn't even get her to come ring us up for our drinks, so i just put a five on the table. steer clear of this waffle house, but the other one is always great! read more

We always eat breakfast, and sometimes other meals, at Waffle Houses when traveling because it's quick, fresh and cheap.... I've never left a bad review before but I just left this one and have to say it's the Worst Waffle House ever! We got there around 6 am and there was only one other customer. We were not greeted as normal and it took a while for our server to come take our order.... All the while another employee who had just shown up was being loud and obnoxious. Our server took our order and layed our silverware down... I had to take my husbands fork because mine had gunk on both sides of it. The cook had dropped a huge box on the floor and picked it up off the nasty floor with his gloved hands then proceeded to grab my bacon and continue cooking without changing gloves. My bacon ended up being so burnt I couldn't eat it... Not that I wanted to after the way it was handled and my hash browns tasted burnt and bitter although they looked fine.... I'm assuming from a nasty grill top cause when I looked at it it had black chunks on it. I ordered grits... They didn't even get served. I had to ask the cook for them because our server had disappeared into the back somewhere and never came back to check on us. The grits were room temperature and inedible. My husband had to ask a different server for a refill cause ours had never bothered checking back. Then when we were done we hadn't gotten our check and had to stand and wait by the register waiting for our server to write it up! Wtf.... There was still only that one other customer. She never checked back on us, never brought our check and then made us stand there and wait for her to write it up!!! Horrible!! Don't go here!! I've eaten Waffle House for over 20 years and this one did me in to the point I won't go again for quite a while... If ever. I'll take my chances at a Denny's or something from now on. read more

This is the first Waffle House we have been to. Waffles are made fresh and ready very fast. The waffles were good, I got the chocolate chip one but it's just a typical waffle maker waffle.
