The gentleman -JB...who served me at the bar was simply awesome. I truly appreciated that he served my martini in a glass (not a martini glass, but still a real glass) while I noticed everyone else was being served in plastic cups. That small gesture definitely did not go unnoticed--thank you for that! Ambiance: I actually found this place online just a few days ago and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed every second of my visit! To my Grown & Sexy YELPERS...you may want to come check this spot out. Now I know, I know...many of us remember what used to be in this location, but this is definitely not that place anymore. PSA: Fulton County Police Department is located right next door, so safety definitely isn't a concern. I felt completely comfortable and at ease the entire time.

I will call out the chicken egg rolls are the best I have had with freshness and crispiness. Drinks were good in flavor but not noticeable on the alcohol. Staff were excellent and attentive with great personalities. Was not that crowded for a weekend. DJ was good and we got our dance on. One negative was it was I guess costume party night and the host kept talking way too much and stopping the music. There is a Cigar bar connected. Free parking. There was a $20 cover.

Again,it's small venue: you really shouldn't come here with a slew of people if you can help it. They have some outdoor seating as well, but not a lot, so you don't want to count on that, but it's kind of intimate. The bar fits maybe six to eight seats at most, and the general seating probably no more than 20 people. It's in a shopping center area, so it's free parking when you go, and there's a number of other things there. You could easily start with this spot and then go to a show and then end up in a cigar lounge, so at least that's a little bit of flexibility. I had the House malbac which was pretty good. I'm looking around, though, and I noticed that the food looks amazing. It made me feel bad for not eating, LOL. Everybody says that it is good, but I just can't speak on it. It looks amazing, so I wanted to make sure I say that. I sat at the bar, and the bartenders kind of were in and out. There were maybe four people at the bar aside from myself. The bartenders kept disappearing, so I wasn't sure about the whole service component with this place. Once you get their attention, you're good, but it just seemed like there were a lot of disappearing acts. I gotta give them grace because it looked like the bartender was dropping off food as well, so I can't wholly take off for that because it looks like they had him doing double duty. If you're into seafood and you want some crab cakes or some salmon, you should probably at least take a look at the menu. It's a good stop-off point, so I would definitely suggest giving it a shot if you're in the area.

Seating was pretty tight, so be prepared to make friends with your neighbor and the people standing in the walkway vibing lol. We got seated pretty quickly and were told of a 2 hour table maximum. As it got later, we could see why because the crowd started rolling in around 11pm. They also required each of us to get both a drink and food item in order to sit at a table. I got the calamari and was impressed. Great portion, crispy, hot. I really liked it. My drink? Not so much. Had a very syrupy, cough medicine taste. My friend said the same about their drink. Waitress was nice and attentive. GM was also nice and attentive. Overall traditional lounge atmosphere with loud music. Dj was pretty good and the tvs were streaming the fight. They went around giving the crowd shots at one point which I thought was pretty fun and a cute touch. Overall, nothing really blew me away.

We hit happy hour, and the specials made for some good starters. That said, if you're actually hungry, you'll probably end up ordering more food. We did and no regrets. Tried the wings and the Philly cheesesteak. Both were solid picks. Wings had good flavor, although just a heads-up: you can't choose all flats or all drums, which might matter to the wing purists out there. The Philly was surprisingly good quality meat, nicely melted cheese, and a good balance of flavor. Service was friendly and efficient, and prices felt fair for what we got. Overall, a good pick. I'd definitely stop back in if I'm ever in the area again.

They have a upstairs eating area also. This place is simple but cute. It was lunchtime and service was top tier. I was greeted once walking in and immediately seated. I must do better with remember names...smh because my server deserves all the recognition, I can say he was a Caucasian, older gentleman. He was amazing!!! He was so nice, knew the menu, made recommendations, and kept a check on me. I found that all the staff helped each other, if water got low, another staffer filled it, plates got empty, someone different may take them away. Everyone was really nice. Now let's get into the drinks and food.... Mimosa(peach) perfectly mixed. The gumbo was recommended and it was good, it had nice size shrimp. The calamari was really good also. For my entree, I had the Shrimp cescer salad, it was delicious... even after finishing it up later that evening because I was so full. I could and would recommend checking them out for sure.

The dining room can get loud if all the tables. Full bar / wine serving Cajun style with a "Atlantean" flair. Service: 5 stars Rarely do I give a 5 star rating for a server but our server was exceptional. He was polite, friendly, helpful and was very attentive. He mentioned some recommendations and as a foodie himself, he made a couple recommendations. Food: 4-4.4 stars Shrimp Po-Boy: 4 Stars for the Po-Boy due to amount of shrimp, though they were larger than normal. The shrimp was seasoned and lightly breaded. However, the bread was wonderful. Light, airy, flaky and had the right amount of crunch to it. The creole sauce was good but the Po-Boy needed some additional hot sauce. The perfectly cooked fries were AWESOME! Highly recommend to get a side if your entree doesn't come with it. Lightly salted with hint of other seasoning and herbs and had the right amount of chew and crunch to them. Also, I believe the oil they use was a better quality than normal. Blacken Mahi-Mahi- 5 Stars The grilled blackened fish has the perfect on of Creole seasoning and was topped with a house-made Chimichurri Sauce and possibly honey. Served with seasonally roasted root vegetables. My wife loved it so much the plate was practically cleaned! LOL! Dessert Beignet - 3.75 Stars By our server's recommendation we ordered a serving of 3 beignets w Pecan Praline Caramel sauce. The beignets were hot and fresh and had a "snowy" amount of powdered sugar. It was covered with goodness. When we bit into them, they were light, airy and had a bit of a chew to them. My wife likes them more than Cafe Du Monde but I thought the dough had more chewiness to them. The Praline sauce was ok. Also, the sauce is extra $3.50. NOTE: Do not order a carton of water - Cost $5. Wasn't worth it. Get regular water. If we were staying another day, we would definitely come back. I highly recommend the place. Also, the have another located situated in downtown Atlanta. But I suggest to stop by at the OG place in College Park. Small time atmosphere with great food! Enjoy!

It's not overwhelming, and to be honest there were so many other items on the menu I wanted to try, which is why I will be coming back. Brake Pad has a full bar & they also have a good craft beer selection and of course they have Sweetwater 420 & Hopsecutioner IPA. The items I had from the menu were the Salsa & Queso w/ chips. The salsa was great and the queso was surprisingly good. I did not have it in my bingo card that they would have great queso but they proved me wrong. For my main meal item I had the Truffle Chicken Salad Sandwich. I HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a flavorful yet healthy option. I was only able to eat half the sandwich and I was full, so if you don't mind having more delicious Brake Pad cuisine To-Go, then I highly recommend.
