Our group was huge and we sat the boys together inside while the adults were seated outside. There wasn't one complaint from the staff. They took our orders, split our checks. Took our boys order inside and came outside to let the parents pay. This was amazing service if this was a restaurant in LA they wouldn't even allow it. Now let's talk about the food. It was remarkable. Everyone loved what they ate. I wanted to try something different so I had what I think they called the Southwest Benedict. It was 2 sopes with chorizo tomato cheese avocado an egg and onion. It was delicious! I had cafe de olla and it was so yummy. Lastly on our way out, they had a cafe inside where you could walk up and order coffee and pastries. This is such a great idea! I decided to order some pasties to go. The pricing is very reasonable. The gap between being seated and actually being served has been a recurring theme across multiple visits, and at some point a pattern stops being a coincidence and starts being a logistics problem that needs fixing. When the food finally arrived it reminded me exactly why I keep giving this place another chance. The crepes with berries and mascarpone were delicate and well executed, though the kitchen could afford to be more generous with both the berry sauce and the mascarpone. The portion is on the modest side, which worked fine for me personally but may leave hungrier diners wanting more. The traditional omelet was the star of the visit, specifically the jalapeño wrapped in bacon that comes with it. It was exceptional and the kind of detail that shows real kitchen creativity. My only complaint is that there is only one. There should be at least two. The cinnamon roll is enormous, which is its own form of commitment, but the dough ran a little dry this visit compared to previous experiences. An off day perhaps, but worth noting. Three stars, and every one of them belongs to the kitchen. Sort out the service flow and this place jumps immediately.

I placed an order for pick-up and when I show up the cashier immediately to get outside because I wasn't wearing a mask. He didn't ask if I have an order or anything just rudely told me to get outside. Mean while there are at least 20 people in the shop not wearing masks eating their meals in peace. I told him I had placed an order online and he told me to still get outside. Didn't allow to get to words out. I waited outside and when he finally came to get my order, he was very rude when bring me my order. I understand COVID has people on edge, but to date I haven't ordered from a restaurant during the lockdown and coronavirus, then been treated like this nor have I treated others like at the business I work. The fact that he kicked me out while 20 people are eating without them is just ridiculous. The virus doesn't just disappear while your eating. I've never written a yelp review before not my thing. After a 42-23 win for the Y, my blonde haired companion and I were already ecstatic, the smell of victory was in the air, nope it was the smell of waffles. The waffle love tent was standing there like a beacon to everyone with money, which we did not. The beacon for us was the trash can where they had just disposed of a batch of tasty looking Belgians. The blonde peered curiously into the trash can and looked to me for encouragement to snag the waffle, when I delivered he grabbed it and began to hurry away, I saw an employee notice the theft and I expected the man to command us to redispose of the waffle. Being the absolute homie that he was however he called to the blondie and said "would you want a fresh one". This man had charity pouring out his ears. We thanked him and received a warm waffle in the 5 degree weather. We would have been happy either way, but wow just wow waffle love I salute you. read more

I was super excited to find out this truck was coming to the parking lot at a location nearby so I HAD to try due to the RAVING reviews.... WELLLLL I was not blown away to say the least. I had the strawberries and cream waffle. It was okay. The Waffles are crispy without syrup so not a breakfast kinda food but more of a dessert. Not what you call the best. It is realllllly over priced for the small waffle too. Really talked up in my opinion. Save your money and go to Dennys for the 4$ all you can eat Pancakes! At least you get syrup there. I was really disappointed with Waffle love. Next time, I think I will not stop for the Waffle Love truck. :/ Not a fan. read more

The waffles are legend- wait for it -dary! Worth every penny. After hearing that all ingredients are purchased locally or from Belgium I thought I'd give it a try, it didn't disappoint! Regular waffles don't come close to glory of these waffles, not only do they have something for everyone, including savory waffles such as chicken and waffles, the breakfast Sammy, and biscuits and gravy, to a wide selection of delicious sweet waffles they have an awesome staff that makes the experience complete! Extremely disappointing and unsanitary experience. We watched a worker in the back take out the trash while wearing gloves, then immediately return to prepping food with the same gloves. No glove change, no handwashing visible. Just straight from trash to food prep. That level of carelessness around basic hygiene is disgusting. The place was so cute with hanging lights and all the artwork, and the employees contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I enjoy eating at Chubbys and one of the reasons sometimes I'm not in the mood for a scone when I order my wings, then suddenly by the time I'm done with the wings, I want a scone. So that's my piece of advice, eat in the restaurant just in case you want more. It is also helpful they have plenty of seating and the design is nice. I also have to say the Springville location has great employees!

We came for the 4th of July deal where they had $2.50 fries, hot dogs, apple pie shakes, and…read morescones. First of all, none of the workers knew what they were doing or how to add the deal. We were at the register for quite some time. I've heard great things about their scones, but these were fried way too long and were so difficult to cut. Not great. The apple pie shake might be the worst shake I've ever had. It was like eating frozen green apples with ice cream, and the textural experience was not pleasant. I couldn't eat more than 1/3 of it. Ultimately we regretted coming here and it didn't feel worth it even with the deal. I've had Chubby's before and liked it, so I was bummed today. At least the fries were good.
