Wow, waffle love does not disappoint. We came here for dinner. I loved the chicken and waffles. Super delicious, moist, tender, (and insert other chicken appropriate descriptive words here) chicken. And the waffle was of course yum. I also got the churro waffle and that was just on point no love how these waffles are but crispy on the outside. It's seriously like biting into candy. At least, that's what I told my son to get him to step outside his picky eater zone. And he literally gobbled up the rest of the waffle. It was that good. Also, I ordered this waffle with raspberries and it was so good! Another crowd favorite was the Nutella love: Nutella, strawberries, and whipped cream. What more can I say??? Ugghhh so good! Plenty of parking space. Plenty of room to sit. Loved that the water dispenser was in the cooler to cool you right off as you get in. And you can get as much as you'd like. Busy on a Saturday night. So much hype! So much... First time here, likely the last. This location is dirty, filthy. Tables dirty with crumbs. Same with the floors. Even the workers looked like they could use a shower. So gross we went to the car to eat. My daughter and I ordered the Nutella waffle with strawberries. Twenty dollars later, we had a globby mess! The waffles were rock hard. I thought my plastic fork was going to bust. If not that, then my gut since they used so much yeast in the waffle batter--or something like it that gave it a super strong, yeasty flavor. I would give 1 star but I like the concept of waffles only at a restaurant. They just need to give this place a good Covid disinfecting clean, sweeping and window windexing. If you're hoping to get in and out for a quick bite, this is not the place for you. There is no method to the madness of their food production line. You have multiple people taking orders and making food. The average wait time for a single waffle was +20 minutes. Specifically for us, it was 30 minutes for one banana cream waffle. For a place that makes waffles with little extras thrown on - they've got to get their act together! Pretty good waffles and fun desserts! One time I had the fried ice cream and the ice cream was too frozen, I couldn't get my spoon through it. When we went in the cafe, it was busy, only 2 young workers working and doing both taking the orders at the counter and cooking the orders. The place was messy, as the customers were leaving the empty tables never got cleaned instead you have to clean them yourself. BUT, the food was very good, the waffles were delicious, I just didn't except them to be on a paper tray and only plastic utensils. The word I would use to describe the food here is "scrumptious." It is very yummy, sweet, and creative. The waffles themselves taste like doughnuts covered in biscoff, whipped cream, and fruit. So they are super tasty! They are often just a little much for me. Too sweet and too rich. It is also too pricey. The prices say this place is more of a meal and less of a treat. But their portions say this is a treat and not a meal. They need to get that matched up better. Because of those things, I think this is a fun place to stop every now and again, but isn't a place I feel like I can hit up frequently. Waffle Love is a casual restaurant with multiple locations across several states. My definition of casual is one where you order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. We dined here for breakfast on a Friday morning, and while there were other customers it wasn't too crowded, and ordering and getting our food was fairly quick. Since I knew I would be posting some info for you to read, it was my duty to order two dishes to ensure I could accurately discuss the menu ;) I selected the Sausage Sammy from the savory menu and the Nutella waffle with bananas (you can choose your fruit) from the sweet menu. Between those two options, I preferred my savory choice. I think the addition of a waffle to the dish is enough to give you the sweet taste so if you are torn I'd recommend ordering from both and sharing, or selecting from the savory options. I can't speak for all locations, but the only disappointment to me was the coffee served from a keurig machine. At a restaurant such as this I would've expected them to feature a local coffee, however I think coffee is not popular in Utah so it might just be this location. Been here a couple times and it was always alright. It's where my wife and I discovered the awesomeness that is Biscoff spread. We like Waffle Love, and while some have complained of the service I feel like that hasn't been an issue for us, it's just so overpriced and the portion sizes so small. Breakfast foods in general often feel hard to justify paying a ton for, and this unfortunately is no exception. If we were made of money then ya sure, I'd probably go back, but as it stands now, we're content keeping fruit, Biscoff and Nutella spread on hand and making breakfast at 1/4 of the price. read more

There are a plethora of choices though, but don't worry, I've tried about all of them so I can give you a breakdown of the top three. 1. The classic "Cinna Love" is always a good choice, with a cinnamon waffle smeared in cream cheese, you can NEVER go wrong. Be sure to ask for some strawberries top it off though, it makes it that much more lovely. 2. The "Sunshine" is also a classic and a good one to eat on a date! It's bright and refreshing taste leaves you feeling light yet full. The raspberries and lemon curd are an awesome combo. 3. The "Dulce de Leige" definitely takes the cake--er, waffle--With it's huge scoop of ice cream that you practically have to cut with a knife and chew because it's so creamy and delicious, covered in some random corn flakes and topped with sauce... It just doesn't get any better. WaffleLuv is always bumpin', the atmosphere is great, the employees are kind and helpful--especially Jessicah, she's helped me out more than once and definitely deserves some extra tips! The only downside is the price, the waffles are a LOT of money.. I debated giving four stars because of this; however, I think everything else makes up for it. Have fun and get tons of photos!
