Pecan Waffle Delight

Disgusting period. Ordered for pick up, get home to Pecan Waffle dumped with strawberries - enough strawberries for 10 waffles and last time I ordered it had no strawberries. had a few bananas. Soggy and not edible. Basically no waffle at all just a can of strawberries in sauce. Kind of ironic considering the name is Waffles cafe! Plain well done cheeseburgers ordered, not even close to well done but the buns were burnt! Fish and chips look like they dumped oil on it, not edible. Toast for omelet not even browned but hash browns burnt! Never again, YUCK!

3 1/2 out of 5. Still playing catch-up on reviews. Friendly and busy breakfast stop. I had a waffle topped with Pecan Syrup and a side of sausage. "The Boss" had a Pecan Delight Waffle. Both were good, but typical of what we can get at home spewing out of our trusty waffle iron. Hey, when you are on the road, your waffle iron is pretty much useless, so... The warm pecan syrup was a nice addition and the reason for the extra 1/2 star. Would we go out of our way to eat here again... probably not. But, if you are in the neighborhood and don't own a waffle iron, give it a try.

French toast cinnamon roll

This was the breakfast pizza waffle. So good but so messy!

After reading another review I figured I should chime in. I've been here several times and it's always been good. The service is a little slow, but honestly I don't mind relaxing here while my food is being prepared. The wait staff is always friendly and very helpful. They are very good at keeping my drinks refilled. The food is always hot and fresh, they have plenty of breakfast choices. Breakfast is the best meal anyways! I usually take the kids here and they absolutely love it. Don't miss out, this place is a quiet breakfast gem!

Strawberry Shortcake Waffle

My husband learned of this place through some coworkers. We were seated right away and the service was excellent - very attentive, kept our drinks filled, checked in a few times. I got the strawberry shortcake waffle and a side of hash browns. My husband had the breakfast pizza waffle. Everything was amazing! Delicious food, the waffles weren't soggy at all and had the perfect amount of toppings. Everything else I saw going to other tables looked amazing as well. I would definitely recommend this place, great service and great food!

This is a great breakfast, not sure why it's three stars on yelp that should be 5 stars! Maybe it's not for people who like foo foo breakfast, Anyway I would highly recommend this if you want to leave killer omelette with the house in it!

Chicken fried steak skillet! Yum!!

Service and food was average. It's the type of place that would not be my first choice but rather a back up plan just in case.

Not impressed, this was our first time going, the service was slow and my eggs florentine had rotten spinach on them.

Nice place to eat in West Valley. Weekends are busy, good food but service is not at it best. No hostess bus staff. Long wait for service...

Not to many places in town offer gluten free options, but you can get them here. Come early to avoid the rush.

Breakfast here is always a good choice. You can't go wrong with the waffles. I wish they were open longer.

Typically the breakfast is great. However.....If you come across a bad server as we did the wait might ruin your food experience.

The decor is delightfully springtime in France. It's very welcoming and fun. There's not a ton of seating here, but they can accommodate groups of up to about six or eight, and have lots of seating for between two and five. We seated quickly by a very nice waitress. Upfront, they have a case with all of their desserts in them. These ranges from chocolate mousse and crème brûlée to tiramisu and eclairs. Pretty much something for everybody! The food here was very good! A couple of us had sandwiches, my wife and I shared a salad, we shared a small meat and cheese tray, and also a crêpe. Everything was very good! They had some legitimate French cheeses and the dessert options were quite solid. The only thing that kept this place from being a true five was the baguette. Making true French baguettes is a tall order, and while these were good, it was really the only place that we were left wanting a little bit. Overall, though, this place is a solid option and the sort of spot that we will be back to!

This is the second location in town, the first being at 40th and Summitview. The folks here have put together what may be the best set up in the area. As with the first location, they serve beer, wine, coffee and a few small bites here as well as pastries and gelato. Inside there is seating for 20 or so, with some couches and nice large tables. Outside is an awesome set up with four or five large tables with umbrellas. This is the perfect place to sit outside, sip on a craft brew that was grown in town and watch your kids play on the giant lawn area outside. It is seriously what Starbucks was never able to do with the space! It definitely is not the factory that Starbucks is, so it can take a little bit longer to get your beverage and array is not quite as wide, but for those who are looking for a good local spot, this is it! The gelato is solid though a little expensive. They tend to run specials once a week or so (i.e. Thursday's are but one get one free night) so it's worth the trip at least once in a while! The place just opened so as they work the kinks out, this is likely to become a go to place in town! Its so nice to see the proliferation of local business and this is no exception. It's a perfect place to take the kids so they can run around and you can grab a drink, caffeinated or otherwise!

It's nice to somehow further caffeinate something that is caffeinated! They have definitely mastered the drive-through concept here, with people coming and going on either side, and doing so in pretty quick succession.
