How does your restaurant handle peanut allergy? Nuts are safe, just not peanut.

The only peanuts on our menu are on the peanut butter sauce and the reeses: both optional toppings. All our utensilis are one use only and the waffle irons are never in contact with those two toppings. I hope this answers your question, thanks…

    Any gluten free options?

Yes! Our mochi waffles are deliciously gluten free!

    Any vegan waffle options?

Not at the moment but we’re working on a new vegan recipe for our mochi waffle.

Surprised I hadn't dropped a review already, as this is my favorite coffee shop in Idyllwild. It's…read moref you're a true coffee snob, this is the place! In September 2025 they moved across the street from their old location (I got lost finding the new shop!). To save you time finding it, it's tucked behind The Owl Pine Shop, which is to the southwest (left) of the Speakeasy Bookmarket and Raven Hill Bagels/Collective. If you're driving up North Circle Drive towards Humber Park, it's on the left, across the street from the record shop past Nomad Ventures. I'm not exactly sure where you're supposed to park, but I parked on the street. They have these nice aluminum cups and will discount future drinks if you bring it back (my cup is a few years old and looking great). The coffee is really phenomenal -- I only drink black coffee. My iced coffee was massive and $5 with the discount for the reusable cup. They offer beans too (didn't see the price) and they have these fancy dark chocolate bars that probably would pair well with a coffee. Staff is always friendly!

The highlight of my last trip to Idyllwild was enjoying a Vietnam light roast in this serene little space. You can buy freshly roasted bags to take home. Incredible. The owner knows his stuff- just ask and he will recommend the perfect blend or single origin bean for your palate whether you are new to specialty coffee or an experienced connoisseur. What a pleasure to be in a coffee shop run by someone who loves coffee as much as I do. I will be back every single time I am in the area. Thank you!

Anytime we make a day trip up to Idyllwild, this place is always a definite favorite. Summer in the mountains with ice cream dripping down your hands. The good old days when you were younger but now it's in a cup...lol... Messy and sticky fingers hits differently these days when you're older. Saturday afternoon and there was a line at this place. Good for them and thats usually a good sign whenever you go somewhere. We've been a few times and each has been great. It's a little ice cream shop along the main strip of town. Their downtown area where all the restaurants, shops, wineries and so on. Always a line when we come but it does move fast. The menus on the front counter wall so you can check it out before you get to the front. After you order, there's a pager that's given to you. Pick up is around the side when your pager goes off. It's not a big ice cream parlor, with 2 small tables and chair in-front of the ordering counter and a couple of bigger tables on the side of the building. We went with the sampler tray I believe it's called. Four different flavors in individual cups for 12.00. It was a little wait as it seemed like there was only one worker on deck. She was taking orders and scooping the ice cream. The other person could be on break or lunch. Anyways, it was ok. The four flavors were quite nice but one was just ok. Our least favorite, the coconut which was an additional 1.00 added to the order. The others three was excellent. Of course I would forget the all the flavors but remember the one we didn't like. Ice cream was great, the one we enjoyed. It was nice to just have a seat and enjoy the treat. Everyone that was there was doing the same, enjoying their treats. It's like a staple here in the mountain. I didn't know if there's any other ice cream shop in town but this one is worth it and alway a must for us when in town. Until next time.

The chicken pesto crepe is my personal favorite. The service is amazing they are so attentive and helpful and i just love the whole design of everything. For sweets, we did the Lily Rock and Hippo crepe. Both were great, but we were a huge fan of the bubble waffle. For savory, we went with their most popular pick, the Chicken Pesto and the Turkey Bubble Waffle. The pesto sauce was creamy and delicious - we were a fan! For some reason, we were definitely not expecting the bubble waffle to be a sandwich. Nonetheless, both were great to fuel us up for the afternoon. Workers are nice and so are their regulars! We had two dogs with us, so we grabbed a table outside and were also able to enjoy the view. Great place to stop by for a quick bite or especially if you're trying to avoid the crowd as the other brunch spots are packed.
