I'm a regular at Morongo, and I always eat at Wahlburgers. The our burger is delicious. The meat is quality. The ingredients are fresh. Wahlburgers is 10 times better than In-N-Out . My go to are the french fries with chili and creamy queso. Onion strings are delicious as well . I think people downplay this establishment because a celebrity owns it, but I'm telling you the food is delicious. Unfortunately the only time I can eat it is when I'm at the casino because there is not one near where I live. Finally got to try a Wahlburger. Had the Our Burger, thin cut onions, and drink. Burger was similar to a Shake Shack but not as good, thin cut onions was different and salty good but very light feel like eating sprouts. Drink came in a reusable cup. In n Out and Shake Shack are better. The price was casino high. In my quest to find the perfect burger, my next stop is none other than the chain started by famed actor, Mark Wahlberg, and his brothers, Wahlburgers. Coming in with a slight predisposition that it would be slightly gimmicky I was pleasantly surprised walking up to the counter seeing others' food coming out. To get a taste of everything my girlfriend and I each ordered a double decker, an order of fries, tots, and onion rings. The burger itself was aesthetically pleasing, almost rivaling that of in n out however lacked the juiciness in n out has, albeit still a pretty good burger with fresh ingredients that was very well prepared. I would recommend ordering extra Wahl sauce on the side. On to the sides, the tater tots were a nice menu item seldom seen at most burger joints. They were crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. The fries were middle of the road at best. Nothing stood out about them but they weren't terrible either. The only disappointment of the meal were the onion rings. I prefer a thicker slice of onion with either a batter or a crumb coat. These were incredibly thin and lacked substance, it felt as if we were eating air. While I typically just focus on the food and service in my reviews, I do have to point out the ambiance of the place. Being located inside of a casino there is a lot going on around. There's a stage nearby where a live band was playing popular classics which was fun to see and a bar in the seating area with tons of tv's playing any sporting event going on. All in all if you're getting your gamble on in the casino and you're looking to get a good burger, it's nice to know you don't have to travel very far. 4 stars read more

Decent food. Burgers are a bit greasy but the flavor is there. Fries were crispy and have a little bit of pepper added to them. Food is pretty good overall. The only downside is I ordered a burger and fries with a drink and my order took 30 minutes to get to me, luckily there is a bar next to them where you could order drinks and a sound stage where they have different shows / singers. If you don't mind waiting a bit for your food and are really into loud music I'd give it a shot. read more

It took 30 min to get our order (it was just chili, onion rings, fries and a shake -- all sides) and by the time we did receive our order they had forgotten our malt shake and we had to wait another 10 min. And if you're going to eat at Wahlburgers on a Saturday night, just know that the acoustics are WAY too loud. It actually hurt when the live band played a some high notes. (The band was great though! Wasn't their fault that the volume was awful.) The food overall was good, not great. Fries were fine, nothing special. Chili had great seasoning but had way too many beans. But the onion rings were the highlight - great texture! The shake isn't very thick and basically turned into soup by the time we tried it, but malt flavor was good. We needed a bite to eat while gambling so instead of eating at the food court we found walhburgers tucked in a corner next to the players club area. We had some resort credit so we figured we might as well use it. You order at the counter they give you a number and you sit down for them to bring your food out to you. The service was great and the food came out fairly quickly. My fiancé and I ordered a burger to share along with some onion rings. The burger was soooo juicy and delicious we immediately regretted not getting our own. Half of the burger was just not enough lol. The onion rings were also amazing. They're thinly sliced so they were like shoe string onion rings. We actually put on on our burgers and ate the rest on the side. After we left I couldn't stop thinking about how good the burger was and was already planning on when we would go back to get another one. I am currently staying at Morongo until Saturday I called down to Waldburger last night to ask what time they closed they informed me 930 mind you it was 910 when I called. I arrived by 920 only to be told that we could not order and they would not make food for us because they were closed. The website says they close at 11 Google says they close at 10:30 but they actually close at 9:30 there needs to be some organization on how information is spread on your business hours and you need to treat customers with more respect especially when you're staying at the hotel and there's nothing else available for them to eat the rest of the night. Not a good practice for business and I am a frequent guest here so I'm highly disappointed and I don't like fat burger. I've included a picture of the employee who rejected me and was very rude to me did not want to help. I explained how I've been sick and I needed food on my stomach no one cared. She became argumentative and she wasn't even a manager. Then when I asked to speak with the manager they sent three regular employees out. I stayed around gambling near the restaurant why was someone there until well after 11 o'clock cleaning and no one can take a burger for us. The worker informed me the manager told her to tell me that they were closed they wouldn't even come out and speak with me and the other five customers that wanted food as well. Very disheartening L et me also mention that they had the rope up to close the restaurant prior to us arriving. Hire better employees before they ruin your business. My mother in law, fiancé , and myself came here to try it out! I myself got the double decker hamburger and it was good! I wouldn't say it's out of the park amazing but it does taste fresh! The patties were also very thick and they even ask you how you prefer your patty cooked. There are no combos , and everything is Al la carte. For 3 people, the bill was around $67 which included burger, fries, and drink per person. My boyfriend did get an extra meat patty on his bbq burger! The gentlemen helping us was very funny and patient with us, since it was our first time. Its located in a food court so you pick your own seating. It did take a while for our food to come out so don't expect to get in and out real quickly. I didn't mind because everything tasted freshly made and cooked. Only thing I didn't care for, was that my French fries were a tad over peppered. The worst experience it seems like everybody there moves so slow waited 45 minutes for our meals. My wife ordered the new sliders when they came the chicken was cold. The meatball was cold. I guess it was the burger that was cold. It's like they took it out of the freezer and put it on our plate so I took back my wife's plate which had the sliders on it and told them if the meal is supposed to be cold and the lady said no and then she responded. Do you want us to make you another one so she told the cook and the cook told her that it's gonna be a while and I told him well. Do yourself a favor and head to "In n Out" which is just a stones throw just down the street from the casino. The was absolutely no place to sit. 53 bucks for two burgers, two fries and two small cokes. The burgers were small as hell and it wasn't anything special. The food wasn't nasty but it wasn't good. At the price point they are asking, they should be embarrassed as hell to charge what the charge for a sub standard product. Was pissed off when we left. What a let down. Not sure why everyone is destroying this place. The burgers were really good. The service was great. There was plenty of room. It is in a casino, so there is that atmosphere. I talked to manager about bad reviews they have been getting. She said because everything is made fresh, it could take some time for people to get their items when it's really busy. There was three of us. From time of order to getting our food was 15 minutes. The food was hot and tasted fresh. I will wait longer to get fresh food. We ordered 3 burgers, two fries, one sweet potato tot and a kids burger/fries. Our total was $80 and took over 30 minutes. Two of the burgers were raw and cold in the middle. The sweet potato tots were burnt and the fries had a copious amount of pepper. Barely anything was edible. We couldn't return for a replacement/refund as we were already on freeway.
