Excellent teamwork leading the team Gaby,Veronica, Ismael & Kao:)

Gaby & her team gave a warm welcome to all their guests. Gaby made my huge, delicious carnitas burrito. Loved how upbeat all of them kept all their customers smiling, laughing while we waited to be served. Highly recommended for a quick bite & friendly service. And tables always clean as soon as someone leave the table. Thank you again, Gaby, Veronica & all the staffs I will be back when around the area:)

    Love the vibe!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Desert. We had the chili gueritoa (shrimp) tiger and empanadas. Wow! The chili shrimp was overstuffed and enough for dinner. The wine was generously poured. We're coming back!

This establishment is located in the Morongo Casino & Spa food court. I've been here three times. My first time. I had a chicken quesadilla so cheesy topped with guacamole, lettuce and diced tomatoes. Second time - a humongous carne asada burrito with rice, beans and salsa. Tonight I had 2 birria tacos with tomatoes, cheese, lettuce and onions along with a pineapple soda. Delicious food, friendly and quick awesome service. As for ambiance none but the food makes up for that. Shared tables and chairs with 4 other eateries. Glad we had a room in the hotel.

Al pastor, carne asada and pollo asada tacos!

Amazing. They make their own corn tortillas which is rare, and they are so thick! I think the tortilla was the best part! Everything was so fresh. They melted white cheese on the inside of the tortilla, so good. Service was super quick (I mean seriously quick, probably less than 2 minutes) and both the folks behind the counter were super nice. They have several tables in the shade and some benches nearby. I'll be back soon.

My friends and I were coming back from Coachella and the made it a point to stop here. They sell tortillas and they're so good. They have more bite than a regular taco and are a bit thicker. I got a taco and the quesadilla and the quesadilla was more than enough for one person. Both were delicious. The ladies running the business were so nice and fast. Parked on the side of the small shack and it was a walk-up and order type place with outdoor seating. It's a perfect place to eat lunch on the go. Definitely stopping here anytime I'm heading to or from Palm Springs or Coachella.

Normally I go to Yaamava, but today, came to Morongo to specifically try out their new style buffet. So first, you set your dining time & pay for it at the kiosk, located at the entrance of the restaurant. Return at your reservation time & get seated, get some simple instructions on how things work here, and start eating. Dining area was a little smaller, but decorated nicely, fairly clean. Staffers were all nice & attentive. 7 restaurants or food stalls to choose from, each having their own menu to serve. This is were the problems started. The quality of the food was mostly meh at best, with a few choices as pretty good. The prime rib was excellent, but the sides were meh, mash potatoes were overly salty & cold, the cajun shrimp & grits were thick & gummy. The omelet station was good, hot & fresh, (cooked to order) & pizza was also pretty good. Everything else was either overly salty or lacked flavor, served cold or at best, room temperature. Most of the desserts were overly sweet. Overall the dining experience was unique and different. There were a few items of greatness among the mostly meh. I believe this place could be successful with better quality control & lowering their price down a bit, or include the ayce crab legs!

It definitely has a cool street-food vibe with different food options to choose from. Prices were about food-court range (around $12-$18 per plate). I ordered the beef pad Thai, but sadly it was pretty dry and didn't hit my Thai food craving . I also asked for lime (because pad Thai NEEDS lime ‍ lol) and they didn't have any available. One thing to note: the portions come on very small brown plates and honestly felt more like sampler sizes than full meals. Seating is also limited. There isn't much space right by the vendors, and you have to walk a few feet away to find just a few tables and chairs. They do offer other foods besides Thai (some street-food style and Asian-inspired options), so there's variety if you're with a group Overall, cute concept and convenient while shopping, but portion size, dryness, and seating made it a little underwhelming for us

Everything was not authentic at all- ingredients used for these traditional thai dishes were not correct & the flavors were disgusting for the beef boat soup, mama noodle plate, & beef thai rice with two iced thai teas. Mind you it was all $97! Insane, this isnt a restaurant either! You sit outside with the flies and I guess they even knew how gross it was too. We would not reccommend- we had to throw it away after 3 bites. You would think for these prices were at a restaurant. So either theyre making up for having rent at the outlets or something. It was actually so insane and we shouldve also checked the yelp reviews like Jennifer said as well. I agree with her and it is true theres a reason why they dont show the prices on their trucks and I assume not until you ask for a paper menu I assume? Also likeeee HOW DO YOU MESS UP THAI TEAS?! They were so bad & the only thing was correct about all of that was the color of the Thai tea. The flavor entitrely off- do not reccommend in general!
