For me this is not really authentic taco or Mexican foods place...more of American pan Mexican. The place is wonderful nice and spacious with a chill vibe that you just want to hangout for all day. They do have inside and outside seating area with cool and surfing type of decor (both objects and pictures). The staff is wonderful and friendly (one was slow and took 5-7mins trying to place the orders in the system but couldn't and got the manager to help out). You order and once the foods are done, they will bring it out to you. They do have separate soda fountain and sauces station. They also have beers (great selection) for sale. The menu items mostly are seafoods but they do have meats too. Got chicken burrito, pastor street tacos, and fish tacos with beers. All are around $60 with tip. The foods are just okey, not bad not good/great...just okey but sides portion are generous. Chicken is nothing special, fish are good and nicely cooked, pastor is not that great...just below average for my taste...beer is great. I would give a 2 but service and staff plus the whole dining room are far better than the foods so 3 it is - POV that is all.

Come here on the regular! There's lots of locations in the OC but here feels like home! They have the sweetest staff, the queens- Elizabeth & Liz are so nice! Love them. Food is always fresh! The quaint little Victorian house and patio are so charming and has the best vibe. Come here for good food & the best time!

Atmosphere is quite chill music in the background and reminds me of a skate park just without the skating! The fish tacos are crunchy and very flavorful and the ingredients are super fresh! The white rice and black beans are filling and do their job lol!Service is cool you order up front they give you a number and they bring the food to your table! Overall this place passes especially with those fire fish tacos!!!

We love Wahoo's!!! This is one of our family favorite places to meet because they have something for everyone! Our kids love the mini quesadilla and kids salmon bowl, the parents love the burritos, nachos and banzai bowl, the grandparents love the fish tacos and adult size salmon bowl. You can't go wrong! The staff are amazing! They are always so nice and helpful and they keep the restaurant inexplicably clean. The food is always delicious and don't sleep on the salsa bar - they add so much flavor and spice to the meal. and the location is perfect for a nice stroll through the Orange Circle after dinner.

So haven't been here in a very long time, me and the family decided to try it out. They have a great menu, and everything looks great, a little higher on the price side but the kids options and pricing is very good. The staff is very friendly, service was great and they aim to please. They have plenty of space for seating big parties inside and outside. All the food came out pretty quickly, the only thing was that it was almost cold/warm, the food was not hot. But everyone seemed to enjoy it. They have great salsas but no tartar sauce if you order the fish dishes. The bowls are great and my daughter loved the beef bowl, and my burrito was good, just the lack of chicken in it and half my burrito being just rice was a little disappointing. But overall great experience.

What a super fun place this was to go hang out and have lunch. The inside of this place is covered with skateboards and old times skater posters snd autographed pictures on the walls. Surfing pics to for the OC beaches. The tacos were great you get to pretty much order them the way you like them but the best part is ghat you can get them grilled and leave the poison vegetable oil out. Sat outside in the nice cool breeze. Super place. I had a grilled salmon taco and a shrimp and chicken taco with rice and slaw. Very delicious tacos.

It was great fish Sandwich i had for long time! Soooo good

My girlfriend and I came today for fish tacos and beer. When we were served our beer and sat outside she noticed it was extremely flat because the keg was low. She informed the team and they gave a refund and two bottles Coronas. We tipped of course then enjoyed our delicious food. MAJOR points to the team for understanding and showing love to us. Made our day! Will be coming back over and over. Also, it's gorgeous outside on the patio! Great ambiance!

In these post COVID-19 days of limited customer service and substantial price increases, Wahoo's Fish Taco has held fast. The quality of food, pricing and service did not waiver. The most substantial indication of a pandemic related change was paper plates and boxes, which has been restored to normal tableware. As a bi-weekly patron of Wahoo's Orange, I can testify there were some rough patches with staffing and some ill-prepared plates, but Wahoo's always made it right with a smile and we're back to consistent, excellent food. If you have the opportunity to talk with Wing Lam and get to know him, you might just understand why the restaurants are so good. Get out there and support a restaurant that cares more about providing good, real, tasty food above profits.

    Cheese enchilada

Check this work of art out. It genuinely felt and tasted (and looked) like an old enchilada was slapped onto this plate then microwaved (the cheese was stuck to the plate, just like if you warmed it up in your own microwave). Also, $14.50 for this junk, one taco and a soda.

The location at the Orange Circle is especially nice with a pleasant outdoor dining area. The food at Wahoo's is tasty, fresh and a good value. My favorite menu item is the #1 Combo. I either order tacos or enchiladas. The accompaniments of rice and beans, round out the plate, making it very filling. My order arrived fresh and hot. The chicken protein with the red sauce was great together. I especially like Wahoo's white rice. I don't know what ingredients they put in their rice, but it is delicious. If your window shopping around Orange Circle, Wahoo's is a great place to rest your feet and get some good healthy food.

Protein Bowl with chicken and carne asada - delicious and healthy!

Overall a great experience…read more The pros: Came in on a Saturday afternoon and was sat down to be greeted by a lovely server. Had red and white sangria. Both were good but we both preferred the white. Queso fundido was good but didn't come with chips so we ordered chips and salsa. Mole tostadidas were delightful, full of flavor. Esquites: the bomb. Super flavorful and we cleaned the plate. Churrosnwere good, but the dipping sauces left something to be desired. A little runny and preferred the hot churro on its own. The cons: the only thing that was a little disappointing was the fact that they served us the end of a bag of chips. While the chips were fine, it was surprising that at a michelin star restaurant they didn't serve homemade chips. Worse still, we got the tail end of the bag of chips. The top of the bowl had regular sized chips but they were just hiding the smaller broken odds and ends that you find at the bottom of the bag.

Food was ok. - Salsa was good but noticed it was really sweet for some reason - We asked for more salsa, spicier, she brought out a small amt of habanero which was also sweet, we mixed it into the salsa we had - Their chef's special: watermelon salad with watercress, cucumbers and jicama, and goat cheese was not great, kinda felt out of place, discombobulated, flavors didn't go together - Had the mole chicken enchiladas w garlic rice and plantains (no complaints) - I got the beef tacos (flour tortillas you get 2, corn you get 3), it was OK, very filling - The guac, salsa and chips was excellent!!! The guac was a very good portion. I took the leftovers home and the guac stayed green (amazing)! Lunch was pleasant. My client wanted to tour the cellar KI HANAL b/c I raved about it so much, but it was full of deliveries/boxes. She is planning to have a family event there.

Look if there's anything I know I know good Mexican food…read morewhy because I'm Mexican I eat Mexican food every day to me. I don't call it Mexican food. I just call it food cause that's what I eat for breakfast lunch and dinner so when I'm telling you that this place has some really good food trust me you want to come out and try it. Everything they have on the menu is bomb as fuck. Their drinks are bomb. The service is bomb. That's the reason I keep coming back all the way from the inland Empire to Orange to eat their food this is one of my favorite spots to come and join the rest of my family. We all come from different parts of Southern California just to eat here so if you're yelping and you're curious to know how good this place is stop it already just come in you won't be disappointed!! Probably better for a nighttime gathering, but kind of threw off our brunch talking session. This is definitely a personal preference, but prepare to be extremely overstimulated. The place is absolutely gorgeous! Kudos to whoever did the interior decorating because everything is visibly pleasing. Even the presentation of drinks and food were great and "instagram-worthy". My friends and I did bottomless mimosas for $35 which is a fair price, but the rest of the menu was ridiculously overpriced. $15 Base for chilaquiles but it's a minimum of $7 to add protein (a very minuscule amount) AND an extra $4 just to add eggs?? Regular drinks were extremely tax as my friend's latte horchata was $12 and it was not good at all. The food was not bad, but the upcharging and skimpy portions definitely put this place on my "no" list. HOWEVER, if they just make minor tweaks with the volume, pricing, and food quantity it definitely could be a great place to go! The staff is friendly and the vibes are right, there just needs to be some changes for me personally.

Our water glasses were always full, and they kept the table clean as soon as we finished a plate. The food was good, but not the best I've tried. I had the Grande Taco Salad, and I really enjoyed it. We also ordered the seafood tacos, but unfortunately, the shrimp had a little bit of a soapy taste. We let our server know, and they were very nice about it and offered to get her something else. A note for anyone who doesn't eat pork: ask for the beans prepared "a la olla" instead of the refried beans. I asked our server if the refried beans were made with manteca (pork lard), and he confirmed that they were, so just something to be aware of when ordering. The restaurant itself has a lot of character. It used to be a church, so it has beautiful colorful windows with designs, lots of wood inside, and some huge, beautiful lamps in the middle. They also have outdoor seating, but it was way too hot to sit outside when we went. Overall, it was a nice first visit, especially because of the friendly service and atmosphere.
