Wahoo's doesn't dissapoint. The Tacos are spot on. Fresh, with great topping. I also love that they hv a beer of the month special as well as a Happy Hour for such an in/out kind of place. This is just for the food. I've ordered take out from this place frequently in the past. The fish tacos are dry and enchiladas are bland. The only thing I liked was the paleo bowl with tofu and teriyaki veggied. If you add a little hoisin sauce, it's quite good. I also like the citrus slaw. But I had to stop ordering from here because I got a small rock in my food that almost chipped my tooth. I seriously don't understand why this place has so many high ratings. The food is mediocre, overpriced and I found a rock in mine. read more

Probably one of my best experiences at a Wahoo's. Restaurant has so much charm, it's inside of an old Victorian house. Amazing. The services was impeccable, Lorena, the woman that took our order was so hard working, she took our order, delivered it and pick up after we were done eating. Great location in Old Town Orange. Extremely friendly staff. Great food. Took my aunt who is from out of town. It also was my daughter's 6th birthday. The food was great. Very flavorful. But the service was even better. My aunt mentioned to one of the employees that it was my daughter's birthday. She didn't realize that Wahoo's is not the type of business that "sings" to you on your birthday. Or, so I thought. Soon after she mentioned it, the entire staff showed up at our table and sang Happy Birthday to my daughter complete with a brownie. They even tried to MacGyver some candles out of some wood skewers! Great food and friendly service. Came here for lunch with my coworkers and had a great experience. I could not believe how fresh and flavorful the food was. The prices are a little on the high side, but it is definitely worth it. Love the location right next to Chapman. I will definitely be coming back for more. Keep up the good work Wahoos! read more

Fun restaurant! It's inside a cute older house. They did a good job keeping the outside looking vintage. Once you walk through the doors, you're definitely in Wahoo's. They have a friendly and helpful staff, the food comes out in a timely manner, and the establishment is clean. I'm a fan of the outdoor seating, especially on nice sunny days. Service was fine but something about the food here never appeals to me. The food seems fresh but the taste is always so blah. The baja bowls are so plain (only rice, beans, a small scoop of salsa and a very basic seasoning of salt and maybe pepper). For this very basic, boring meal it's expensive. Always good food but twice now on our To go orders we have gotten home to find one of our meals missing!! We should've learned the first time it happened to check before leaving the restaurant the next time but we just didn't and of course when we got home tonight my kids entree wasn't in there. Step it up on the to go orders wahoos and make sure everything that the customer orders is in the bag! It's not hard to have a check off list! My boyfriend and I come here frequently and always order the classic margarita. It's always a fair proportion but today it was half the size and the same price. We politely asked if she would change the cup to the normal as it is a crazy price to pay for a 5 oz drink that is normally at least 10. She was rude and avoidant and did eventually give us half of another though not happily. I'm disappointed as we love this place and as frequent customers we would know if anything is different. They clearly have no regard for customer service and as a restaurant worker I would be embarrassed to give the same service. read more

Horrible tried to order Togo and they kept hanging up on me. Tried to order the office food about $200 dollars worth of food and they kept hanging up on me. Very rude and unprofessional on the phone. Ignore the crappy skater punk decor which looks like your 14 year old nephew was hired to stick all over the walls. Maybe ignore the music too, as punk is not the best background noise while eating food. The last time I went to Wahoo's was about four years ago in Costa Mesa. However, my recent experience in Orange was subpar. The stuff I ordered at the Costa Mesa location all came out delicious and exactly how it had been ordered. One star as of now for this review because they offer veg-friendly options.Today, four years later, I had a craving for a Wahoo's burrito and was pleased to find out they have online ordering now. With that being said, I placed an order for the location in Orange, Ca (at the Orange Circle). After placing my order, it was quoted that my order would be ready at a given time. I show up on time, the cashier greeted me but the order hadn't been prepared yet. With the anticipation that it would be ready upon arriving, I was a little bummed to have waited 20 more minutes. I could have made my order in the store rather than online if I knew that was going to be the case. In total, it took them 40 minutes to prepare my order. From the time I placed the order, to the time I arrived and then some. Finally, food is done. I'm looking forward to my outer reef burrito with tofu and arrive home only to find out that even though I ordered and paid extra for guacamole they didn't include that in my burrito. Also, I ordered cajun fries which was found to be a very small portion compared to what I was seeing being served from the to-go line. One more thing, there is an option online to order the burrito "wet" with green/red sauce and with/without cheese, I had ordered the green sauce (without cheese). Lo' and behold, there is cheese on it. This was a splurge for me. At 12 dollars and some change for a pinch of fries, a burrito with add-ons which I paid for, that were omitted--not even included in my order. A pretty disappointing visit overall and may most likely not bring my business back here again. read more

It's February 16, 2020 I just had some late lunch and ordered to go, never was I mentioned about the special on the wall and couldn't change, then my food was cold, avocado look old. No condiments I never got ketchup I understand I could of got it myself but I ordered Togo so I wouldn't have to worry about it as it mentioned when you order if you want ketchup or ranch so I would of expected my ketchup but this isn't the first time I've had a problem it's just the first time i ever spoke up thank you. read more

This was a horrible experiance! We went to Wahoo during lunch. It took 20 minutes to get our meal. I asked to speak to a manager. He offered to give us free drinks or chips. I will never eat there again. My boyfriend was almost late to work. They don't value losing a customer because they offered us drinks or chips which are less than 50 cents. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place! My only issue is I don't like seeing franchised resturaunts or stores in this area as I love the ma and pa stuff and support them. I love the layout of this location, it is very quaint and unique compared to their other stores. I love the 3 minute fish burrito, it is simple, filling and a fantastic price. Sometimes I enjoy getting the bowls which are always a nice portion. The green sauce is the bomb! Whenever I eat here I need cup of it, not a ramekin. Ramekins are for the weak! So I wasn't too thrilled about this meal. The location and the building itself was so cute and awesome! Its in a historic building which used to be a hotel back in the day at the circle of orange. Now the food......I ordered the Carne asada with black branch and rice. the meat was not good, it was bland, and didn't taste like meat. It lacked the spices I'm used to and was dry. The beans and rice were good, but I mean compared to the meat, the beans and rice tasted like the best thing in the world. They also do not have any salsa's to add to your meal, only 1 sauce that tasted like Asian sauce to me. Oh well. At least they did have tapatio. read more

Awful customer service. Sheyla is a horrible, rude girl with a bad attitude. We LOVE wahoo's, but THIS location is extremely unsatisfactory. Waited in like for 15 minutes, Sheyla yelled "next" without smiling (maybe she does not know how?) and I walked over to her, she did not once say hi or hello - continued to received crap service from her. Order came after waiting 20 minutes, and came wrong. Had to wait longer, still was wrong but was told it was 'fixed'. Went home to eat, food was WRONG!? How hard is it? All in all I spent an hour and $40 on this trip and emailed a complaint. Took over a week for someone to reply, and another few days for me to actually be offered some compensation - a $10 gift card and no apology from a manager!!! Are you kidding me?? Horrible horrible. Worst wahoos I have ever been to. Upon walking in the place was dirty, I walk up to the cashier her name was Carla H and she didn't even say anything to me. Bedsides that I asked how she was doing and I got no reply. Besides her horrible attitude and frown on her face I get my food and I'm missing my enchilada. I paid $6 for a meal that didn't even have everything in. I'm not going to call and drive 5 miles back when I'm now already at work and I was on a lunch break. If there isn't another wahoos around you if advise you to find a different Mexican place as you won't enjoy your experience here. read more

I'm lactose in tolerant and I ordered some veggie tacos with out cheese, sour cream and white rice (the white rice has butter). Unfortunately, they came out with white rice. It's stressful having to tell staff when your food is wrong, because I don't want to make their job harder then it already is in customer service. However, within 2 mins one of their staff RAYMOND who also delivered us our food was checking in on me, asking if everything was ok . He obviously saw I was staring at my food upset. He took the tacos back and made sure they re-made them. He was so helpful and gave me no attitude about it. He was so understanding. There's a lot of people at restaurants that are rude and annoyed with me when I tell them there's a mistake with my meal, so I'm very appreciative for the quality of staff at this Wahoos!
