We love Wahoo's!!! This is one of our family favorite places to meet because they have something for everyone! Our kids love the mini quesadilla and kids salmon bowl, the parents love the burritos, nachos and banzai bowl, the grandparents love the fish tacos and adult size salmon bowl. You can't go wrong! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff are amazing! They are always so nice and helpful and they keep the restaurant inexplicably clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is always delicious and don't sleep on the salsa bar - they add so much flavor and spice to the meal. and the location is perfect for a nice stroll through the Orange Circle after dinner.

So haven't been here in a very long time, me and the family decided to try it out. They have a great menu, and everything looks great, a little higher on the price side but the kids options and pricing is very good. The staff is very friendly, service was great and they aim to please. They have plenty of space for seating big parties inside and outside. All the food came out pretty quickly, the only thing was that it was almost cold/warm, the food was not hot. But everyone seemed to enjoy it. They have great salsas but no tartar sauce if you order the fish dishes. The bowls are great and my daughter loved the beef bowl, and my burrito was good, just the lack of chicken in it and half my burrito being just rice was a little disappointing. But overall great experience.

What a super fun place this was to go hang out and have lunch. The inside of this place is covered with skateboards and old times skater posters snd autographed pictures on the walls. Surfing pics to for the OC beaches. The tacos were great you get to pretty much order them the way you like them but the best part is ghat you can get them grilled and leave the poison vegetable oil out. Sat outside in the nice cool breeze. Super place. I had a grilled salmon taco and a shrimp and chicken taco with rice and slaw. Very delicious tacos.

    Cheese enchilada

Check this work of art out. It genuinely felt and tasted (and looked) like an old enchilada was slapped onto this plate then microwaved (the cheese was stuck to the plate, just like if you warmed it up in your own microwave). Also, $14.50 for this junk, one taco and a soda.

In these post COVID-19 days of limited customer service and substantial price increases, Wahoo's Fish Taco has held fast. The quality of food, pricing and service did not waiver. The most substantial indication of a pandemic related change was paper plates and boxes, which has been restored to normal tableware. As a bi-weekly patron of Wahoo's Orange, I can testify there were some rough patches with staffing and some ill-prepared plates, but Wahoo's always made it right with a smile and we're back to consistent, excellent food. If you have the opportunity to talk with Wing Lam and get to know him, you might just understand why the restaurants are so good. Get out there and support a restaurant that cares more about providing good, real, tasty food above profits.

My girlfriend and I came today for fish tacos and beer. When we were served our beer and sat outside she noticed it was extremely flat because the keg was low. She informed the team and they gave a refund and two bottles Coronas. We tipped of course then enjoyed our delicious food. MAJOR points to the team for understanding and showing love to us. Made our day! Will be coming back over and over. Also, it's gorgeous outside on the patio! Great ambiance!

Protein Bowl with chicken and carne asada - delicious and healthy!

They have some great healthy dishes here like their 1988 burrito. Super good filling burrito with chicken, salad, salsa and cheese. I like their different bowl options too with veggies, salads and protein. Food comes out pretty fast and there are plenty of seats here. Recommend for a casual lunch.

The location at the Orange Circle is especially nice with a pleasant outdoor dining area. The food at Wahoo's is tasty, fresh and a good value. My favorite menu item is the #1 Combo. I either order tacos or enchiladas. The accompaniments of rice and beans, round out the plate, making it very filling. My order arrived fresh and hot. The chicken protein with the red sauce was great together. I especially like Wahoo's white rice. I don't know what ingredients they put in their rice, but it is delicious. If your window shopping around Orange Circle, Wahoo's is a great place to rest your feet and get some good healthy food.

The food here is really good everything was really fresh so far I have tried the salmon bowl with white rice it had a nice flavor it has a light soy marinade on it it also comes with a homemade aioli sauce on the side and citrus slaw the aioli and citrus slaw are delicious the white rice had good taste to it . I have also had the protein bowl with chicken and carne asada with brown rice and veggies it was really good great quality meats good taste as well it comes with the citrus slaw . The employees were really nice and helpful here the inside and outside are really nice too they have lots of seating both outside and inside with fire pits outside for when it's cold I think the prices are decent especially for the quality and portions you receive.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!

This is one of our go-to date spot that our friends introduced to us to. From my understanding this is Italian owned business with not only great quality food but also a wonderful assortment of rich olive oil, balsamic vinegar, jam, wine, packaged noodles you can buy straight from Italy. The service is always friendly but they can get very busy. Highly recommend a reservation. They've been so busy before they wouldn't even do take out orders. Ambiance is quaint. I love the beautiful Italian chandeliers they have. I've had a hard time with the chairs if I have a thick coat or a clutch hand back hard to put on the seat My husband orders the carbonara everytime which is our favorite item on the menu. Very authentic to us. I've tried many different pastas and just tried the lasagna last night which is not super heavy if your hesitant on feeling too full, was a great portion amount and wasn't super greasy either. Other items I've tried are the but my favorites are the fettuccine Alfredo (not on the menu), the short rib ravioli - super tasty!, and this mozerella crusted Pattie's in balsamic and creamy tomato sauce (seasonal or not on the menu sometime) that we love! I wanted to love the seafood risotto but I've had better. I used to order paccheri alla boscaiola which a popular item but I have to be in the mood for all the red onions which can be overpowering if there's a lot. We have tried some Of the apps which are always super fresh but we tend to order insalata calabrese which has a bit of everything Italian salad and great for sharing. The free bread is a plus too. Highly recommend coming for date night, family night, or even a small special occasion. Thanks for the great food and service!

Ava helped me out today and was very friendly and attentive. I sat inside and it was such a cool vibe. The interior is very open and there's plenty of seating, also a bar with a few TVs. The presentation deserves bonus points, and the flavor in this dish truly packed a punch. There was a nice sear on the outside, while the rest of the fish was perfectly flaky and tender. The roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach were a great compliment to the fish and the pesto sauce tied everything together by adding immense flavor to the dish. I loved every single bite and they practically had to stop me from licking the plate clean. Highly recommend you try this dish when you go!! Citrus City is located in Old Town Orange off Glassell, it's a very beautiful restaurant with a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was all friendly, however they were a bit short staffed so getting help for things took more time than I'd like (it was certainly not for a lack of trying from anyone). On the food front, I got the avocado toast with over easy eggs, and some bacon and eggs. Sadly the eggs were all overcooked/oily, and the potatoes were undercooked. The bacon also didn't seem very fresh, as it tasted a bit stale. I was going to order coffee as well, but they were completely out of milk alternatives so I passed. Overall, the meal was pretty mediocre and felt like a 2.5/5 meal, but I am rounding up because the staff was pleasant and the restaurant had a cool vibe. I want to come back for dinner, but would probably skip their breakfast/brunch until they're in a better place.

I also appreciate that the menu has a nice variety without being overwhelming. The menu is the perfect size where you have lots of options for your mood, but it's easy to decide what you want to order with little more than a couple glances. I dined by myself right as they opened for lunch and had a great experience--my server was really sweet and attentive in explaining everything to me! The soup base wasn't too salty, even after boiling for some time before I added the noodles, and the meat was really high quality. And not bad for the price! I splurged for a large portion of the premium meat combo and everything included (rice, veggies, noodles) it was still under $50. Even just the little bowls of onion and garlic you get on the side were great, and honestly it shows to me that they have this format down to a science, because those are the perfect (and really the only) side dishes you need for a great dining experience. They offer traditional konbu and water broth which is a huge requirement for me. I have been to a shabu place where this wasnt an option. The ponzu and veggies were really good. The service was excellent. But what really made this place not hit so well was the meat tasted pretty flat and I didnt like their goma sauce at all. The goma sauce tasted like it had a sesame oil note to it. Maybe their flavored broths or their marinated meat option is what this place stand out but because I am not about that life I cant really comment on it. Since the price is on the higher end I cant really justify the cost from the minimal shabu style eaters point of view. If you are the more flavored broth style you might enjoy this place.

Those details don't go unnoticed. The true star of the evening was our server, Jason. Despite a packed restaurant and a busy section, he was professional, attentive, listened carefully to our dining preferences (very picky), and delivered flawless service and dining experience.
