Worst wahoos I have ever been to. Upon walking in the place was dirty, I walk up to the cashier her name was Carla H and she didn't even say anything to me. Bedsides that I asked how she was doing and I got no reply. Besides her horrible attitude and frown on her face I get my food and I'm missing my enchilada. I paid $6 for a meal that didn't even have everything in. I'm not going to call and drive 5 miles back when I'm now already at work and I was on a lunch break. If there isn't another wahoos around you if advise you to find a different Mexican place as you won't enjoy your experience here. read more

I love the layout of this location, it is very quaint and unique compared to their other stores. I love the 3 minute fish burrito, it is simple, filling and a fantastic price. Sometimes I enjoy getting the bowls which are always a nice portion. The green sauce is the bomb! Whenever I eat here I need cup of it, not a ramekin. Ramekins are for the weak! I'm lactose in tolerant and I ordered some veggie tacos with out cheese, sour cream and white rice (the white rice has butter). Unfortunately, they came out with white rice. It's stressful having to tell staff when your food is wrong, because I don't want to make their job harder then it already is in customer service. However, within 2 mins one of their staff RAYMOND who also delivered us our food was checking in on me, asking if everything was ok . He obviously saw I was staring at my food upset. He took the tacos back and made sure they re-made them. He was so helpful and gave me no attitude about it. He was so understanding. There's a lot of people at restaurants that are rude and annoyed with me when I tell them there's a mistake with my meal, so I'm very appreciative for the quality of staff at this Wahoos! Mary, Jesus and Joseph, I couldn't wait for this place to open. Yes, I've been to Wahoo's before and I love it - and now...we have one...walking distance...from our house...across the street from District Lounge...who said prayers aren't answered? This location is pretty awesome. I love how outside it is still a beautifully restored version of the hotel but the inside is kick ass Wahoo fun. First time there everyone was super friendly, which I both appreciated but assumed was because they just opened. We have gone back a few times after and service is as great as the first day. Super friendly, and really efficient. The place is always clean and has plenty of seating. The patio seating is really fun for those beautiful days and people watching. Food - great as always. Piping hot, fresh and delicious. I love taking my step-daughter somewhere she'll be happy to eat and not just stare and play with the food like we're making her eat thrown up dog food. Thank you Wahoo's - making lives easier one meal at a time. Parking - not a problem for me (walking) but I could see where it can be a pain. There are a few public parking lots surrounding the circle and on Lemon (by the bus depot). This may require some walking but it hey, it's free parking. I literally waited over two years for this location to open. Living only blocks away I am now a frequent visitor. I love the #13 Wafu bowl (brown rice, black beans). With tax, I'm out the door for $8.88. A great deal on a delicious, healthy, local dinner. read more

Best Wahoo's Fish Tacos I've been too! The atmosphere is what makes it great. In the evening, the street lamps from the Orange Circle really add to this chill vibe. Took my dad here for his birthday and he has now deemed this our normal wahoos (previously being the Wahoo's in Fullerton. The staff is very attentive to those dining both inside and out. There's a nice fire pit to keep you warm while eating outside (also adds to the atmosphere). I know I'm coming back and happy I found this location! read more

I have tried other wahoos locations before and always have thought of wahoos as a nice place to eat every once in a while. But the orange circle location has by far been the best. The food was amazing and hot and tasted very very fresh. Not only were me and my family greeted and paid attention to, but our food was served promptly by a nice girl named Lorena. She checked up on us enough to make our visit content and pleasurable without annoying us and allowing us to enjoy our meal. My younger brother wanted a cup of water and I was going to grab it but instead she was more than willing to do it for us. She seemed extremely happy with her job and truly cared about making our visit enjoyable through the very end. We will definitely be back even though its a drive away from home. I wanted to like this place as I was craving a good burrito. But my husband and I were both disappointed. The staff was friendly but the food just lacked flavor. I got a fish burrito and the sauce that came with it looked good but didn't taste like anything. My husbands carnitas burrito was the same. Lack luster. My Family and I recently ate at the Orange Location on Chapman a couple of weeks ago. When entered the location we notice the employees messing around and it took a little while for someone to come to the front and take our order. We ordered a fish taco plate and a tofu burrito. My family ended up sharing most of it. My husband and I ate the fish tacos and my toddler ended up eating only the burrito. Shortly after I ate I started getting really sick, then a few more hours passed and my husband also started getting sick. We both got the worst food posing I've ever had. It lasted a for a couple days. I'm soooo happy I didn't share the tacos with my toddler because this was so bad I would of had to take her to the emergency if she got sick like I was. Luckily She never ate the fish and she was fine. My family and I loved this restaurant and usually ate there about once a week. After this experience we will NEVER go back. The only reason I'm writing this is that there are so many families with small children that eat there and I would never want to have a child get as sick as me and my husband got. I also never want to take another chance with anyone in my family ever getting that sick ever again. I'm not sure if your employees are not handling the food properly or they just didn't care that day. I also emailed they and told them about the situation and never got a response. I love this Wahoo's. The location is out of the way of the craziness of the circle, and they have an outdoor patio. Pedro (I think that's his name) was so helpful. I'm gluten and lactose intolerant and he was so patient and knowledgeable and helped me find foods (which surprisingly there were a lot) that I could eat. He's worked there for several years but I could tell that he really likes his job and cares about making it a pleasant experience. Highly, highly recommend this location. read more

This is a great place to get Mexican food that's healthy as they grill their chicken and fish. I love the Paleo bowl and the taquitos. Took my two boys to Wahoos tonight ! My oldest had the carnitas quesadilla and my youngest had the fish tacos kids meal.... They ate every bit ! I had the Cajun fish which was on the spicy side but delicious !! Not mention the 25c beer special this month rocks! (But you only get one at that price with a purchase of a bowl entree) ...a second one woulda been better!!! Great atmosphere and fun for kids! I was glad to finally have a Wahoo's close to home, now, not so much. It took 5 minutes to order food from the trainee working alone at the counter. Since they've eliminated the salsa bar, we had to make decisions on the sauces, which she couldn't describe. When the food came, they missed some food and messed up another order and gave us dirty forks. Overall it was a huge letdown. The tacos are still good, so they get 2 stars. I guess I still have to go to Corona or Costa Mesa for a real Wahoo's. read more

My first time here and it was a pretty good experience. The staff was helpful and kind. We tried the Maui steak bowl which was very tasty and the popular burrito which was also great. Overall good place for lunch but I wish they would serve complimentary chips Instead of making you pay for them.
