Each time we are in the area, this place is our go to! The staff is always very friendly, the food is fresh and the portions are enough to fill me up for the next meal. We ordered two burritos- one carne asada and the other chicken. We added a chicken quesadilla went was enough for two ppl and a side of rice. Of course, the aquas were the cherry on top. I like their horchata because it's not too sweet. Everything was less than $50 which was reasonable considering we each left full and satisfied. Definitely recommend if you are carving authentic Mexican food!!

Very friendly nice guy who took my order and made my food. I got the Carne asada burrito. Was packed and filled. The salsas were good the red ones nice and spicy. Will be back. They have a drive thru as well

Drive thru. Fast. Great tasting food. But damn they get the order wrong a lot. I always let it go. But I just can't anymore. No onions, no cilantro. It's simple. It's what you put in a burrito. All meat. That means only meat. No onions. No cilantro. This is the fourth time of wrong orders. But you know they want a tip in the drive thru. I think I have to part ways. Plenty of other fine Mexican food establishments. Just not with that drive thru.

Don't eat here! They have RATS

After leaving the ER, I stopped at this taqueria to grab something to eat. As I was driving up, I heard a crunch under my tire and found a huge rat. I showed the employee, and she brushed it off like it was no big deal. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and canceled my order. Please be careful eating here and consider having the health department inspect the place. This is not a Ratatouille movie!

Been here twice, the first time I ordered Al Pastor, Asada, and Pollo tacos and asked if they would be spicy (weak spice tolerance). Was told no, and can put the salsa on the side. Middle of eating, it was all spicy. Did not finish. This time I ordered an asada burrito, it tastes good but when I opened the wrapping it fell apart as soon as I picked it up and the tortilla was just breaking apart every time I picked it up and put it down. I didn't end up finishing it because it just became the ingredient and no tortilla.

I ordered a carne asada burrito thru the drive thru. It was $11.00 with taxes. From the time I ordered to receiving the burrito, it was less than 10 minutes. Gal with the braces helped me and she was friendly, great customer service and made the order quick and easy. The burrito is a great size, filled with fresh ingredients: carne asada, beans, chopped onions and cilantro. I smothered it with the green sauce (mild). Definitely will come back, definitely recommend!

Our school uses them for our lunch specials on bi-Fridays. They are a family owned and operated business. The food is great all the classics plus some specialty dishes. The tacos are delicious and the home made salsas are fantastic. If you haven't tried them they are great. Enjoy!

Don't ever eat in this place. Is disgusting my wife order a wet pastor burrito and it was nasty. The little meat it has, was really COLD on top of that it was also hard to chewy. Too old for been served on the menu. Seriously need to check what their selling... never come back

thank you for my burrito from uber, it was wrapped so well, it all fucking fell apart! Thank you so much!

Look if there's anything I know I know good Mexican food…read morewhy because I'm Mexican I eat Mexican food every day to me. I don't call it Mexican food. I just call it food cause that's what I eat for breakfast lunch and dinner so when I'm telling you that this place has some really good food trust me you want to come out and try it. Everything they have on the menu is bomb as fuck. Their drinks are bomb. The service is bomb. That's the reason I keep coming back all the way from the inland Empire to Orange to eat their food this is one of my favorite spots to come and join the rest of my family. We all come from different parts of Southern California just to eat here so if you're yelping and you're curious to know how good this place is stop it already just come in you won't be disappointed!! I do have to warn you that this is a Cantina restaurant so the music is loud but guess what? I fucking love loud music!!

There instruments sound amazing but the singing was not it. It would do better if they did everything without speakers The music they had on aux though was great, maybe they should stick to that. Regardless, the food was amazing. I would totally go back for the food and the beans were soooo good!! Service was also nice, we did have to wave them down a couple times but regardless, very kind people. Please just fix the music situation LOL.

El Molino de Oro's carnitas burrito is a solid, no-frills winner that hits the spot for authentic…read moreOrange County Mexican food. The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

The man that helped us didn't even want to be there with the sorry answers he was giving us. We came with my daughter and I asked how small was the mini bean and cheese burrito and he just had this look like are you serious?? what great people skills. second, the food tasted alright. everything was dry I guess that's what's to expect when everything is under heat lamps and not made fresh. we ordered the 4 taquitos plate , the chicken was so dry and the torta de tamal and that was even drier. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

But on last Saturday morning 3/7/26 I found a parking spot and walked right in. I ordered a wet burrito with barbacoa, 3 carne asada tacos and a bowl of menudo. The wet burrito came out hot covered in red sauce and cheese. The baracoa was tender and had flavor. Easily one of the best wet burritos I've ever had. I got the tacos for my brother and menudo for my mom so no feedback on those foods. I walked in around 9:30 am the place was semi busy. I saw couple of customers having the menudo. Its an indicator that its good. Staff was nice and gave me a complimentary bag of chips and cup of salsa. I would return to sample other items from the menu and recommend.

I love it when I come to a mom and pop shop with delicious fragrance and Spanish speaking locals because you know it must be good!!! We ordered takeout because room was limited and it was still extremely hot when we got it home (about 15 minutes away). We ordered the pastor burrito and cheese and beans burrito. The service was extremely friendly and quick! The gentleman there was so helpful and understanding. They do charge a 4% up charge when paying with card. So cash is recommended. Cost is very reasonable and the burritos were both fantastic with salsa made in house! Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but their quality is definitely there!
