The place is spacious enough as I was by myself . Saw plenty of families and they appeared to be satisfied. Overall, it's dated and could use a good DEEP clean. I would definitely get rid of the fabric chairs. Great air inside with two units in each bedroom and fans throughout. Beware of insects. Keep the door closed and keep the trash out. I took all food and trash to the large trash can. Even with your best effort, you will see ants, gnats, centipedes, and lizards inside. There is also a small rooster that likes to roam, but appears friendly. The cost was reasonable, but it's not different than a 3.5 motel. Very central to most things . Everyone is very friendly. The road to get there can get super dark at night. Don't sleep on the restaurant in FoodLand!

Despite Mother Nature's blessings, our family had an uneventful, yet relaxing time telling stories, playing cards, backgammon, and eating like there's no tomorrow; serious grazing. There's something to be said for having nothing to do. The rain slowed things down and forced us to just be, instead of doing so much. Exactly what a vacation should be. Now only if we could get the kids on board with that. This is the second time our family has rented this property. The main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one tub and one shower. The living room area is nice sized, however the kitchen is a bit small but totally workable. The dinning room table doubles as a poker table. Full size washer and dryer available and with its own access via the outside deck. Totally separate is a two-story dwelling that houses two apartments that each sleeps four with its own bathroom/shower facilities and kitchenettes. The beach is typically beautiful with Goat Island in the distance. Lovely swimming holes immediatley out front, however this all looked stormy and fierce during our most recent stay. Nice place to surf and paddle board when the conditions are right. The deck and landscaping are charming additions making you feel at home, allowing you to sink in like you own the place. Duct tape on the shutters, I envisioned cockroaches at night... We had to find other accommodations on the spot.
