Such a lovely stay. Rooms were small but amazing views! Def would recommend especially if your looking for privacy.

Sunset & gorgeous ocean views from our 12th floor unit You can hear the rolling surf come up crashing to the wall as we sat in the green lawn, lounging in the not crowded back yard. Literally just steps into a nice cool almost private beachfront ocean, which we swam in every day. Small cozy room, nice upgraded bathroom

My family lived in a nearby condo for 15 years before moving to the mainland and we return here to vacation in unarguably best spot.

Luckily we found Kaimana Beach Hotel. We splurged and booked a corner king room and what a delight! We were on the 6th floor overlooking the beach & ocean with the lights of Waikiki with the lights of Waikiki and a view over Kapiolani Park into the mountains. What a beautiful room and view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony morning, noon, and night. The bed was comfortable and the room was well outfitted (we asked for the optional coffee maker - complimentary). Every staff interaction was friendly with full Aloha spirit - from the valet parking attendants to the front desk team. And the location - perfect for us! It was close enough to Waikiki but far enough away from the noise and commercialism that now sits on Kalakaua Avenue (I know some love it there). The hotel is right on it's own beautiful beach and Kapiolani Park is just across the street. A short walk on the promenade and you've got food from the Barefoot Beach Grill - or walk further into the bustle of the main strip on Waikiki Beach. Only (minor) complaint was that the in room wifi was a bit temperamental. We will definitely return to Kaimana Beach Hotel !

They have many properties to choose from and some are just spectacular in person. And the price point is very reasonable dependent on market conditions. We were in Honolulu for the JAL Honolulu Marathon and needed accommodations after the race. Using booking.com, I came upon a listing for a penthouse 1 bedroom/1 bath unit with pictures showing a gorgeous view of Diamond Head. The price was very reasonable and quickly booked the listing. Midway Vacations provides great descriptions and pictures of the units available. When we entered...our breaths were taken away!!! A little aloha was also extended with chocolate macadamia nut candies and water to welcome us. The room was clean and comfortable. Well detailed information was also provided. Communication before/during/after was excellent via email and text. The pictures will show what we experienced during our stay. Midway Vacations is a well tuned fine instrument.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Deceptive business practices. Midway Vacations admitted in writing that they knew…read moreabout the massive power/water outage at noon on our check-in day, yet they deliberately withheld this information and let us check in at 5:30 PM to an uninhabitable unit. No electricity, no hot water, no elevators. They then refused a full refund, withholding $628.25 for "cleaning and insurance" for a stay that was impossible from the start. Completely dishonest and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. Dear Midway Vacations Team, Thank you for your response. However, I find your explanations unacceptable and will be pursuing this matter to the fullest extent possible. Your claim that you acted based on the "best available information" is contradicted by the facts. You admitted to being aware of the outage on March 13th, yet you allowed me to check in without any prior warning. This is not a matter of "unforeseen circumstances," but a deliberate failure to disclose critical information about the property's inhabitability. Whether the outage was caused by weather or building management is irrelevant to your contractual obligation to provide a unit with basic utilities. A rental without electricity, hot water, or elevator service does not meet the legal definition of a habitable dwelling, and I should not be charged for a service that was not rendered. I also reject your justification for withholding $628.25 for cleaning fees, insurance, and taxes. It is predatory to charge these fees for a stay that was made impossible by your own lack of transparency

Every time I visit Honolulu, I always try to book one of Annie's rentals first and hope that there's availability during my trip dates! I'm one of those people that does extensive research and price comparisons on different rentals before every trip, and Annie's units are the best value every time. I've experienced two month-long stays at one of her Ilikai Marina units, and I'd book the exact same rental again every time I return if it's available. The unit was bright, clean, spacious, and peaceful. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on. Even if I had a naked Ryan Gosling in my bed, I'd still choose sleep over sex because the bed and pillows are THAT comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast and consistent, even during video-heavy Zoom calls, so you'll have no problems working remotely. The Ilikai Marina is a prime location with so much to do within walking distance like Magic Island, Ala Moana, and everything Waikiki has to offer. There's a Biki station right around the block, so I biked pretty much everywhere. On top of all this, Annie and Adrianne are incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating. I'd highly recommend booking with Annie, but hopefully not during MY travel dates because I want to rent with her when I'm in town, too!

Additionally, we loved that there was a sliding door in the condo, that turned the apartment into a one bedroom when we wanted (but also allowed us to have open space when we wanted as well). Annie was super responsive and accommodating. From the booking process where she explained everything to going above and beyond such as leaving snacks in the kitchen, water in the fridge, and laundry detergent in the closet since we were staying longer term. These details made us feel really welcome and Annie also has the best suggestions on places to eat or things to do in the area. Grateful to work with Annie on this rental and will definitely be recommending to friends who come to Hawaii to visit!
