New management is horrible. I shop there very often. It was the night before XMas and I must've been purchasing at least $600 in last minute gift wrap and stocking stuffers. I had been in the store about 45 minutes and during that time k had a few questions about some items and when I asked the manager lady was very rude and impatient. I just bit my tongue and ignored it. When I was ready to checkout she was again very snappy and unfriendly and acting almost irritated I was purchasing so much stuff.... Midway through check out I had added 2 bottles of sparkling wine and some coffee liquor for entertaining along with the other items. came in to buy and she asks me for ID. Now I am 52 yrs. Old, and despite whatever policy they have it's painfully obvious I am "of age" old enough to purchase alcohol. The cashier/manager says to me "sorry I can't sell this to you" I laughed like she was joking and she said "nope our policy requires us to card everyone" and took the bottles off. At that point I'd had enough and walked out with nothing. What's a good neighbodhoid pharmacy good for if they treat you like crap and then blame policy for their lack of description? I'll never set foot in that store again. The revenue I brought into that store alone exceeds $500 per month and they just lost their best customer. So rude and impolite. Makes me sick to my stomach how companies hire shit workers and treat their customers like dirt. Whatever happened to good old friendly customer service where stores appreciated your business instead of took their customers for granted? read more

WORST PHARMACY AND STAFF! RUDE, INSENSITIVE, AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm not one to write reviews or get upset in a store but this experience was so unbelievably hurtful and disrespectful, and discriminatory. I have never encountered a more rude and unprofessional staff. One of the young pharmacists whom I have never had an interaction with called me to boldly inform me they would no longer fill my prescriptions as they are "too complicated" and wont be filling any Rx until I seek "real" pain management. I have been in pain management since I was 7 years old. Irregardless she still shouldn't say that to someone. I was so blown away by what she was saying that I honestly thought she was prank calling me. She proceeds to speak over me and interrupt me as I'm trying to ask questions. She wouldnt let me talk so I asked to speak to the manager. She lies and tells me she is the manager and she's "in charge of cases like this." She was so rude and unprofessional and cruel. I don't remember exactly what she said but it was some offensive comment referring to my health that I just haven't done a good enough job at taking care of myself. I was livid and crying all at the same time....I went to the store to pick up my remaining meds and immediately asked for the store and the real pharmacy manager. She said I was seeking drugs and attention. At one point she started being sarcastic and mocking me and my health issues. People who struggle with chronic pain usually have hundreds of interactions with medical professionals like her treating them like crap. This wasn't new but it was completely out of nowhere. It's interactions like this that make people like me feel more isolated, depressed, and ashamed of having chronic illness and pain. The way she treated me is exactly why people who struggle with chronic pain stop seeking medical help. Avoid this pharmacy. They have endless complaints against them and staff turn over is a revolving door. Zero loyalty, standards, and ethics. Unless you love long wait times, prescriptions that are never filled correctly, and unprofessional staff that treats you like garbage. Then this is the best worst pharmacy for you . read more

Hands down the most disrespectful and least helpful pharmacist I've ever been to. The best way I can summarize my experience is that they project the stress of whatever is going on internally onto innocent customers. I tried to pick up my monthly medication (for the second time at this location) and basically got told to screw off because my doctor didn't live close enough to here, even though he is only about an hour away from the area I just moved from. I told them this is the first time I've been informed of this rule, and the doctors who accept my insurance are typically hard to get an appointment with without advanced planning. They also said because I was picking it up literally 4 days early that I needed to show them a travel itinerary, which has never been asked of me before in the multiple instances in which I've had to do this. I've had the same medication for I don't even know how many years, and now I will be deprived of it when I crucially need it. The worst part is that the pharmacist wouldn't even look me in the eye when he was saying this because he knew he was being rude and genuinely did not care. Absolute, blatant disrespect out of nowhere. They're a wealthy corporation and people will keep going to them strictly because they need their medicine, so they can probably get away with treating people as such without any negative repercussions. But if you have an option to go literally anywhere else, I strongly recommend avoiding these jerks at all cost. read more

This Walgreens has the rudest employees. Went there and spent over $400 and the lady that was helping us was so rude . My mom offered to bag and the lady looked at her like she was stupid, throughout the entire transaction she was huffing and puffing. When we finished, whoever was behind us, the cashier said "oh my gosh I'm so sorry about that" very rudely. I don't remember her name but she was an older Asian cashier lady . read more

This place is a nightmare to get a prescription. I went last night and counted 17 people in line. I went back this morning and there was 8 people in line. Went back at 4pm today and it was down to 5 people in line but only 2 people working and they are slow as molasses. I'll be switching to rite aid across the street read more

This is my neighborhood Walgreens. Employees are friendly and helpful, and store is clean and bright. I go to the pharmacy a lot and the techs always watch out for me and make sure meds are not interacting, etc. Andrew the pharmacy tech is super kind, and Linda and the store manager are also very helpful. read more

I been dropping off my prescriptions here for over 3 years now and always been happy with this Walgreens but today I ended up at the urgent care center and was sent home with a few prescription again. A new or temp doctor at the urgent care prescribed me a prescription and the Walgreens system didn't recognized him in my network so they wanted to charge me extra for my prescriptions. Thanks to JAMES he called the urgent care center and figure out the problem so I won't get charge extra for my prescriptions and save this sick girl a trip. read more

Amazing patient care! It is night and day what this pharmacy used to be compared to what it is now. The new pharmacy manager Dean has turned around what used to be a slow pharmacy. Talk about a culture change. They will assist you with anything you need as long as you tell them what you need... most times I don't even need to ask. The newer pharmacist Andrew is well read and knows all the most recent therapies. I love that he grew up in the area and knows that this location used to be a tower records. He seems to know every patient by name. I actually look forward to meeting my pharmacists each month. read more

Andrew the pharmacist was very helpful and engaged with my needs and even suggested over the counter alternatives to try out first because I was hesitant in the prescriptions. This review is for the pharmacy only. Don't call if you're trying to get anywhere fast. The first time I called I was put on and off hold for a total of 18 minutes and ended up being hung up on. The second time I called I was put on hold again! This time I was on the phone for a total of 8 minutes all for them to tell me my prescription is now unavailable! Horrible customer service, management is incredibly unable to competently follow through with complaints and escalations don't help. Walgreens overcharged me for items that I didn't purchase by erroneously scanning items. I can not for the life of me get a resolution because of their lack of care.Corporate is just as useless in terms of resolving the problem. They pretend to empathize while you submit your issue, but there is no compliance, no follow through. I'd be hesitant to use walgreens even if you paid me. I'll never recommend walgreens, their competitors are very close by and far more caring and courteous. read more

Staff was amazing in helping my mother find items she needed while waiting for her prescription. The pharmacy staff was attentive in explaining how to take the medicine, and made sure my mother understood what she needed. All around amazing people! read more

I have been going to this Walgreens for over 2-years. This latest visit was absolutely the last time I will ever shop at ANY Walgreens ever! First I get a coupon "spend 20.00, get 5.00 back" BS promo so after waiting in line for 20 mins because all the employees were too busy cleaning the dirty store... I presented the coupon and was told it was the next time I make a purchase!!! It did not state that on the coupon maybe on the back in red miniscule faded and smeared letters. Anyway I decided to return one Aleve Pm and the blonde lady working at the register at 6:20 1/26/21 was rude and just stared at me her only reply put in your number. So after all the BS dealing with these so called essential workers I left my product without a refund could not deal with these people at all. This is a sloppy store with lazy and sloppy employees that obviously have no pride at all. I mean thet way these people present reflects the store. Worst Walgreens I've ever been too I went to fill prescriptions for my mom after just being released from the E.R and I went to this Walgreens before 9 ( when it closes ) and they refused to help me and then the lady at the front was being extremely rude. If you seriously hate your job that much maybe you shouldn't be doing it. The pharmacy closes for lunch. The start time for the lunch break (weekend) has changed several times and now has a small printed sign that indicates 1:30. But, if they don't finish with a customer then the 1:30 start doesn't work out and then the re-opening is delayed. In this day and age not to have sufficient staff to have a member present is odd. I have been here at various times and encountered the pharmacy closed each time. Really annoying. Plus the entrance into the building: doors, sidewalk and trash receptacles are filthy. Not a great first impression. I will be changing pharmacies. read more

I will avoid every Walgreen's store going forward. This one in particular is dirty equipped with rude employees, empty shelves and overall aggravation to shop at. Website clearly declares the pharmacy open until 9pm. Get a text at 6:25 that the prescription is ready for pick up. Arrive at 7:05 and it's closed!! The clerk said corporate mandates an early close but fails to update the website. The corporate officers of this company should be fired. The pharmacy have miscalculated medicine twice for me in the past and they make you wait a solid 45-mins to an hour for them to grab a bag out of a bin. These delicate geniuses need to be fired. I've fired Walgreens's and will make sure to tell as many people about this lousy place and my experience. This is one retail establishment I look forward to see the "store closing" signs.. soon losers, very soon... Make it a parking lot. read more

I've been using Rite Aid for years but was so fed up with the length of time it took to fill a Rx. They often were out of whatever it was I needed. Yesterday I decided to go to Walgreens on Superior. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and professional they were. I met the pharmacist, Ellen, who was just amazing. She took such care to explain how to take my very complicated regime of prescriptions for a condition I have following chemotherapy. I was apprehensive about several new meds but with Ellen's assurance and explanation of how these meds actually work together I felt at ease. I just want to thank her for taking the time to help me. I'll definitely change my pharmacy of choice to Walgreens and this location. read more

I called this morning at 6:30 a.m. to inquire about their photos :; a sequester the phone and of course me not being familiar with Walgreens photo picture kiosk, Sequoia was kind enough to answer all my questions and then when I finally came the evening I got a chance to meet her. This is by far the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. The man working was downright disrespectful. I got a call 2 hours prior to me showing up to get my prescriptions saying all my meds were ready. I got there and he told me that 2 out of 6 of them are ready and I need to wait 45 minutes to get the other 4 prescriptions. He also proceeded to tell me I misunderstood my voicemail which I did not so I played it for him and I was correct so he continued to tell me well we've had this issue before with other clients getting this call before they are ready and told me there is nothing he can do because he's to busy, and has a line of 10 more people and it's only him and 1 other pharmacists working j and I live about 25 minutes from this Walgreens and I go to this one specifically because I used to live 5 mins from it and it's one of the only Walgreens that carries my meds, but from here on out I will not ever go to this one again, there is 2 pharmacists that are amazing here, but sadly it doesn't make up for the horrible service this last time I was there. read more

This place is awful and the employees are awful. They listed online that they sell an over the counter inhaler and when I went in to ask they looked at me like I was crazy. They were all very standoffish and rude to me especially the pharmacy employees. All I'm looking for is a device to help save my life, don't treat me like I'm the dirt under your shoe. This week I've been told that it's not in and has to be ordered, after I received a text confirming Its ready for pick up, 2nd trip in for same refill they lost my $60 manufactured coupon, so now, my third attempt, I was just told it's not in and they need to order it. I told them that's impossible as I was here last night when they screwed up my coupon, now they found it but lost my $60 coupon!! Worst service from the pharmacy worker Annalise and Nadine. My daughter needed her prescription and they substituted with another kind. She asked them if they can order the original brand and Annalise said NO! This Walgreens has always done this. Then Nadine came into the conversation and yelled at my daughter that they are about to close. It's 15 minutes to close no reason to yell at a customer. The other pharmacist always helps us and has even ordered ahead for her knowing she needs this particular brand. Nadine and Annalise need to remember their job is Customer Service and although this location is closer we can take our business elsewhere! Maybe you should learn to treat your customers better! How about zero stars for this pharmacy. I have been here many times to get prescriptions and today was the last time. EVERY SINGLE TIME they take forever, the employees are super slow, they cant find my prescription and end up looking in both areas at least twice, I have had too many issues with my insurance here, and when there finallynisnt a long line you will STILL wait forever to get your prescription.
