Horrible walgreens. Submitted a photo order, went to pick up and order was no where to be found. After looking and inputting information, the two workers said that the order was cancelled and needed to be resubmitted even though I didn't receive an email in regards to a cancellation. Seriously do a system update or whatever is needed because I wasn't the only other customer there asking about their photos. Also the two workers that helped, one being a shift lead (didn't catch name) and the other worker named Rosa didn't even bother to apologize for the mishap. I have been a loyal customer to this Walgreens for years now especially since it is convenient and an easy in & out but wow was I disappointed the other day and debated on writing this post just because I was going to call corporate but I am still going to call corporate plus this review. Well long story short I went two days in a row and each time I did the photo department. Day one, a young lady deleted my invitation after I took an hour making them, then she blamed the machine and had no clue how to work it, i was clearly upset but was so tired that I decided to come back the next day and make it. Day two, I seen the name of the associate was KAT she was so rude when it came to questions I had so I let her know what was on my mind and how she needs to work on her customer service skills. When it came to checking out I told her I would wait for someone else. All I could think about is If you don't like your job go somewhere else but don't demolish a business or treat people with no respect because you don't know what your doing or because your simply unhappy! Either way another associate by the name of Dexter helped resolve any issue I had with my photo order and has helped me before in the past...Thank you Dexter for being so awesome, but KAT need help! read more

pharmacy worker eva was very rude when i came to pick up my medication. she was talking and looking at her coworkers phone while i was trying to get my medication. then she told me that my medication wasn't ready and i asked a question but she quickly walked away and ignored me. i waited a few minutes at the pick up window but she kept avoiding looking at me and even went to the back when i called her. when she finally called me back for the medication she basically threw it at me. read more

Come here often almost daily. Good buy that's why I give it 3 stars or else maybe none . Cashier ranged me up 3 times and canceled it 2 had to call up the manager because she didn't know how to input my coupons. Talk about hater when she realized how much I saved . Worst pharmacy around. Only filled scripts here the first time because they are open 24/7. Dropped off 2 simple prescriptions today before 4pm and they said it would be 30 minutes.... At 4:34, we went back to the drive thru Window. There we sat for over 10 minutes, 2 presses.of the call button and finally some horn honking before anyone even acknowledged our presence. Without exception, every time I come in for a RX to be filled I am greeted by the most capable staff, they are always cheery, very helpful and fast fast fast. I can only compare them to Costco in this area because I havent used any other pharmacies. By comparison, this is the place to get your RX's done. Costco is always too busy and the staff is gruff, unhelpful, slow and I will even say they have an attitude. The Asian woman who works there screws up almost every order and is sooooo slow I just want to leave. And she is ALWAYS there. They seem woefully understaffed and over worked. That;s not going to change, it's Costco. I know we go there for the discounts, but to offer pharmacy services and be so unprepared for the amount of humanity that's going to use your service is bad business. So now I go to Walgreens. And I am treated like they want my business and they care. The pharmacist Pham, I think her name is, not sure if that's her first or last name, but she is sooo helpful, knowledgeable and takes her time explaining things to you. And has a great attitude. Reminds me of an old timey type pharmacy. That could never happen at Costco. They want you in and out. And after waiting for an hour, or two, you want out too. Go to Walgreens on Orangethorpe. You wont go anywhere else. PS they also recommended a compounding pharmacy to me, looked up the address and wrote it out for me. THAT'S old fashioned service. And I like it! read more

I love this Walgreens. They're open 24/7 and the people who work here are very friendly. Every time I shop here, which is mostly late at night (12am-2am) the same guy is working, and he is the most friendly one that works there. He's always trying to spark conversation and even let me know that they always accept $100 bills there no matter what time it is. I was worried about being able to give him $100 and not be able to buy what I wanted because some places have a rule that they can't accept larger bills over a certain time. But I was able to and it was really convenient because I would hate having to give all my things to him and have made the trip over there for nothing. I could have chosen to go to Walmart but this Walgreens is never crowded and has everything I need so I can be in there quick and out before I would even find one thing at some other store. read more

They have a 24 hour pharmacy which is good but you can't use the restroom because they are closed. What the??? Makes no sense.

This was one of those drive up pharmacies where they didnt let anyone into the store cause it was just a drive up pharmacy. I heard this place isnt there anymore. The pharmacy is absolutely horrible to deal with. We dropped off our prescription and they told us it would be a 2 hour wait. My daughter had surgery and was in a lot of pain. I called 2 hours later and they told me my insurance did not cover the medication and they needed to talk to my Dr. for approval. Talked to my Dr. and told him we would pay the $70. When I called the pharmacy back and gave them the Dr. cell number to call they told me I would have to wait another hour to fill it because there was now another 8 people in front of me. Seriously they do not care about thier customers what so ever!!!!! read more

I have been filling my scripts here for almost a year but in the last few months it takes an act of Congress to get my refills on time on the average I receive my prescription 7 days after they are due ,the other night I was so frustrated that I drove across the street to CVS and my prescription was ready in 10 minutes. Worst customer service ever! So unprofessional! I will never come back. It's so easy for them to take your money but when there's a problem, they just told you to contact the manufacturer or corporate instead. What the purpose of having an on ground store anymore? She refused to fill my prescription from my dr that authorized the refill for the 23rd, which I came to pick it up in the 24th and she said it is up to their discretion when they want to fill it. Since when does a pharmacy decide that they don't need to follow the doctors prescriptions??? I have heard that this has become a problem with both Walgreens and CVS . Horrible service. I would give zero stars but had to click on one to post this review. One of the guys who work here with a heavy accent is not helpful at all. He made me go through a lot of hassle to get a prescription called in (again) when it was already in the system. It was for post op antibiotics and I explained that the prescription was called in. He said he does not see anything in the system so I had to have the on all doctor call me back and call the pharmacy to get the order in. When I called the pharmacy back to make sure they received the prescription, a lady who answered stated it was already in the system and another call was not needed- with a tone indicating I was dumb for not just coming to pick it up. When I tried to explain to her that it was her colleague who told me it was not in the system, she just merely stated "well now it is so just come and pick it up". No apologies for making me go through trouble. I will never go back to Walgreens. I've had bad experiences in other locations as well. They don't care about the people they serve. read more

Worst pharmacy experience. I've been going to the local Walgreens near my home in Anaheim when I need to buy 1 pack of insulin syringes for emergencies for quite some time and have never had any issues. I've been a type 1 diabetic for 16yrs. I am currently 26yrs old and I'm still sensitive about my condition so much that I keep it hidden if possible. I have insurance but I prefer not to use it for fear of being dropped and I hate going to the Dr. to give me a prescription and check up. I don't need someone who doesn't have the disease to tell me what I should or shouldn't be doing. It's been years since I've been to a Dr. so I've been purchasing my supplies (Insulin and syringes) over the counter. I had used my last clean insulin syringe and I was near this Walgreens on Orangethorpe on black Friday and thought it would be a good idea to pick up one pack until I can get more shipped from an online diabetes supply company I usually use. I walked back to the pharmacy and there was an asian representative there that was helping. I didn't get her name which is why I described her by her appearance. I asked if she had the 5/16 31 gauge short insulin needles available. The first thing this lady asks me is "Are you a diabetic"? What kind of question is that? In my opinion if you're able to describe a specific diabetic insulin syringe needle, it should be obvious. I politely replied "yes". She then asked "do you have proof". I said no. She said "don't you have a diabetic card"? I said no. I'm well aware diabetics are supposed to carry some sort of identification indicating their a diabetic, but like I mentioned earlier I try to keep my condition hidden as much as possible so I choose not to carry one around. It's my decision and I'm well aware of the consequences should an emergency occur. The representative said "I can't sell you the needles without proof". She then collected my information to see if I was in the system. She said I wasn't in the system. I said I have insulin and syringes at home I can show for proof. She said that wasn't sufficient enough. She said in Orange County you need proof that you're a diabetic in order to purchase insulin syringes. I knew that was incorrect because I've been purchasing insulin syringes at the Walgreens pharmacy in Anaheim which is about 5 minutes away from this location. I told her why is it that I can buy syringes at the other Walgreens but not here without proof? I even told her about the Walmart in Anaheim where I'm able to purchase syringes there. She said they may have different policies. I've decided not to argue with the rep and told her I'll just buy the syringes else where. In an emergency situation what if I needed the syringes to lower my blood sugar before I hit a diabetic coma and the rep didn't sell it to me and I had passed out on the floor at the store? Would Walgreens take responsibility for it since the rep refused to sell me syringes without proof? No diabetic should be forced to prove their medical condition in order to purchase supplies that is necessary for their survival. It's not as if I asked to have diabetes. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops for this. People can purchase cough syrup and Tylenol and abuse the heck out of it without providing proof they they have a cold or headache to make a purchase, but when it comes to needles, as a diabetic, I have to proof that I'm terminally ill? That doesn't make sense to me. I've decided not to use any Walgreens stores to make any diabetic supply purchases anymore. I'd rather avoid the hassle and go to the local Walmart Pharmacy where I can purchase Novolin R and insulin syringes at a more affordable price anyway. Worst Walgreens experience ever! I should have filed a complaint or spoke with a manager, but I didn't want to blow this whole thing out of proportion since I'm able to purchase the insulin syringes I need elsewhere. read more
