QFC used to be a local grocery chain. Then Kroger ate them (this was many years ago). QFC got a…read morelittle worse. Then Safeway ate Albertsons and QFC got a lot worse. Now Kroger is trying to eat Safeway, and QFC jumping the gun by preemptively taking a nose dive. For years, people called this store "the new QFC" because it was newer and nicer and shinier (and, imo, better-smelling) than the one a couple blocks over. We didn't know how good we had it then! This particular location used to be clean, well-organized, well-stocked, and appropriately staffed. Variety and quality of foods (especially produce) seems to have taken a downturn. Now, pick 2 of those at any given time and you'll be lucky. Less pharmacy hours, never anyone at the customer service desk, a giant bay of tiny u scans with one harried employee trying to deal with everyone's coupons, misweighed items, and produce with no stickers. Locked cases popping up all over the store, but only one or two employees in the entire store who can open them. Worse yet, a lot of the stuff in the cases doesn't have pricetags, so you just have to guess - not great for what are ostensibly some of the most expensive items in the building. Don't bother asking that employee who unlocked the case for you; they probably already have a gaggle of other customers following them around like the pied Piper, waiting for them to unlock some other case on the opposite side of the store. To be exceptionally clear in case some corporate scrooge reads this: none of this is the employees' fault, they are doing the best they can, and this is all clearly the consequence of corporate cost-cutting measures. I'd give it 3.5 stars because it's not the *worst* QFC on the eastside (I'd put it solidly above the 50th percentile, which says a lot about the state of the brand), and it's definitely still better than "the old QFC", but it's a marked downturn from what it used to be in years past (even post Kroger merge)

The parking lot generally feels a lot less chaotic than some other Costco locations (although, let's be honest, it still depends on the day and time... you're either walking into a full on battlefield or having the smoothest shopping trip ever haha!). I shop here pretty frequently since it's just the two of us, so a lot of my trips are for one or two items rather than giant Costco hauls. I really appreciate that this location has self checkout because it's perfect when I'm just grabbing something quick, which is usually a case of water. That said, the customer service at self checkout has consistently been disappointing. Sometimes you have to press the assistance button, and other times an employee comes over automatically to scan heavier items. Unfortunately, I'd say 9 out of 10 interactions I've had there have felt cold or unfriendly. During my visit today, the employee walked over, silently scanned my case of water, and walked away without saying a single word. No hello, no "have a nice day," nothing. I told her thank you, but the interaction just felt awkward... On another visit, an employee actually snatched my fiancé's membership card right out of his hand instead of simply asking for it. Little interactions like these add up and leave you feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer... I also recently spent quite a while looking for a specific product. After checking everywhere I could think of, I asked an employee for help. She said she could "try" to help, but she was clearly busy pushing a cart somewhere else. She pointed me towards the front of the store and kept going. I ended up asking another employee near the front of the store, who also just directed me back to a general section. Thankfully, after looking around on my own, I eventually found it. I completely understand that employees get busy, but when the store layout changes so often, especially when they have new warehouse sales, it would definitely be nice to get a little more helpful assistance with finding items. I've had much friendlier and more helpful experiences at this location in the past, which is why these recent visits have been disappointing. It's still a clean, well stocked Costco, and I genuinely like shopping here. Every time I come here, I'm impressed by the huge entrance and the unique hilly layout surrounding the warehouse. The parking lot is very large, and the store itself is always well organized and easy to navigate. I love Costco overall. Their deals are incredible, and honestly, coming here every couple of weeks is one of my favorite things to do. It does get extremely busy on the weekends, so if you prefer a less crowded experience, I would recommend visiting on a weekday. That said, if you don't mind the crowds and parking situation, weekend shopping is still worth it. During my latest visit, I picked up Pressed Juicery products that were on sale for only $13, which was a great deal. They also had croissants and plenty of bakery items available. The selection is always excellent, and I appreciate how Costco keeps its product offerings streamlined, making it easier to choose between brands without feeling overwhelmed. The service here is great as well. Employees are helpful, and the checkout process is efficient. Just remember to have your membership card ready since you'll need to scan it both when entering the warehouse and at checkout. Overall, this is a fantastic Costco location that I always enjoy visiting.

I just went to Woodinville Compounding Pharmacy for the exact same medication, same 90 day supply. And boy was I shocked when not only was it ready early, they included the chicken flavoring we paid for, and the medication was only $13!!!!! Don't waste thousands like I did. Please learn from my very expensive mistake and take your business somewhere deserving.
