Expected wait time to be hung up on EVERY TIME
    Shellbee D.

I've been a regular customer at this Walgreens for a while, but the level of difficulty getting prescriptions filled has become completely unacceptable and places a huge amount of stress and burden on patients. Every month, I face the same issue: prescriptions are never filled automatically, no matter what they are. The pharmacy will not process them unless you first call or come in -- but you can't get through to anyone by phone. You can try, but you will wait a minimum of 35 minutes (it's usually around 45-55) before being "disconnected". For the past several months, I've had to call multiple times a day, waiting on hold anywhere from 35 to 55 minutes each time, only for the call to be disconnected, or for someone to briefly answer, say "please hold," and then have them hang up/ disconnect the call usually 5-10 minutes later. This isn't a one-time inconvenience -- it's every single month, and it's exhausting. If you are unable to physically drive to the store and wait in person, it's almost impossible to get your medication. The burden and stress this creates for patients -- especially those with regular or critical prescriptions -- is enormous and unacceptable. Tonight alone, I called at 9 p.m. (an hour before closing, after the drive-thru had closed), as it's less busy. I waited on hold for 47 minutes, only for someone to pick up and immediately put me back on hold until the line disconnected when the store closed- screenshot attached. Earlier today, the exact same thing happened after a 45-minute wait. This pattern shows a complete lack of reliability and accountability in pharmacy operations. Patients should not have to beg or chase down their own medications month after month. Walgreens needs to address the staffing, phone, and refill process issues at this location immediately -- it's creating unnecessary stress and barriers to care.

Dropped by the Walgreens in Kirkland recently which is located right next to Safeway, which makes parking easy but shared. Inside, it had all the basics you'd expect: pharmacy, photo kiosk, and a decently stocked selection. I didn't notice a public restroom, though I may have overlooked it. Customer service wasn't terrible, but it wasn't warm or helpful either. It felt more transactional than anything else. Overall, it's a passable spot for essentials but don't expect stellar service. Im glad they have new management its obvious they're making some changes for the better. Now the pharmacy..... well that is another story. I stopped using them a long time ago because they were just so unreliable... but with all these new hires & other changes I've noticed I hope to see the management make the pharmacy better to and I will definitely consider using their pharmacy again!

I have finally found my forever pharmacy!…read more I had been a customer of Bartell's for many, many years, and was bummed when Rite Aid bought them and more-or-less put them out of business. It took a long while to find a replacement pharmacy, especially one that would honor my insurance. (The latter bit ended up being surprisingly difficult!). Anyway, no problems transferring my prescription to their shop. Their staff walked me through the process and were very helpful. They honored my insurance, so my regular prescription cost me nothing (as it had at Bartell's). Staff was helpful on the phone and in person. I think a lot of people are transferring prescriptions to Katterman's since the pharmacy staff seemed slammed when I went in. But no problems, they took the time to help me. Only confusing bit: you pick up the prescription at a counter at the back of the store, where the pharmacists work. You then take it up to the front counter to "pay" for it, even if you have no co-pay. I think I understand the process now, but the two-step process seemed a little odd (since, again, I owed nothing). But everyone was helpful, so no worries! My new pharmacy! What a relief to have one, and for it to be a nice little local shop.
