Alex from the photo print kiosk was SUPER helpful!! My friend and I came from a concert last night and was really excited to print and enlarge our photos!! He was patient with us and was knowledgeable about all the cropping and enlarging as we continuously giggled about the concert!! If you want great customer service Alex is the guy to go! Every time I go to the Walgreens there is always an issue with their app. I clip coupons on the app and for some reason they don't show up when I'm-checking out. The cashier always calls the manager and I have to give her my phone and she scrolls through the app. Meanwhile my feet are killing because I just got off work. I just want to buy my stuff and go home. Then they have to call someone to open another register. It usually takes a good 30 minutes before I'm out the door. This usually happens at the other Walgreens on Glendora Ave in West Covina. Today at this Walgreens there was an issue with the app and the manager came out looked at my phone took it scanned it and the coupons applied instantly. He was fast efficient and thorough. One of the few scattered Walgreens around that do printer cartridge refills. They also have a photo center here so you can print out your photos. Came here at first to fill up my parent's empty ink cartridge for their HP printer. Was helped promptly and they automatically scanned their weekly savings catalog to see if there were any sales on it, which there were. I was pretty happy, as I saved about 4-5 dollars over two cartridges. They told me to come back in 30 minutes. After a trip to the nearby Target, I came back about 45 minutes later. After maybe 5 minutes somebody came around and said that my color ink cartridge failed its Q/A ink test and they had to redo it. At the time, the jaded part of me was thinking: "They probably haven't even started filling it yet. Lazy bastards". I don't know what to do, as they don't provide me how long it would take. Then a couple of people come out and ask me for my name. Which then, I overhear one of them joking with the other: "You finish filling up that cartridge yet?". I stood there, with a WTF look on my face. Man. Its not even that they took about an hour to do something they say would take 30 min. Its that they lied to me. Nevertheless, I got a pretty nice deal on the ink and the first girl who helped me was very helpful. 5 stars for her. 1 star for the incompetent ink filler guy. PS. A pretty ghetto looking guy was looking for two liter bottles of soda and asked me where they were. (Does it look like I know?) But having wandered around the store while waiting for the second time, I had seen them. I directed him towards the back. I should work there, I'm so pro. Shieeet. read more

I went to buy some first aid stuff today, and I grabbed a fruit bar and eat it in advance before I pay for the items. On the half way while eating it, I discovered that the fruit bar tastes really moldy. I told the cashier, and a lady manager came to the counter with an ugly face. I told them that I haven't eaten anything for a whole day, and I just grabbed that form the shelf which cost for only about one dollar, and she emotionally told me that she will not charge me, but I must pay for it before I buy it. I said I am not going to void to pay for it, but you should not seek anything moldy in the store. I would give her with a zero if I could, the other staff are very nice. read more

This pharmacy sucks ASS!!! Okay what ever you don't accept my insurance fine . But to tell me to call cvs and have them call to transfer my medicine to them I did . Now that was 6 HOURS AGO!! Calling back and forth from Walgreens to cvs . Cvs telling me they haven't received nothing .calling Walgreens asking what's going on ! Telling me they sent it . Calling cvs telling me Walgreens said they don't have any record of me but I clearly left the store !! It's now 815! I don't have my medicine! I just got off the phone asking wtf is gonna on . !! She told me . Oh I just sent it . I asked when . "Oh 10min ago" but 3 hrs ago they told me they sent it . It's sad how I'm on the phone with them and cvs is on the phone with them . If I could no star ! I ask her " Forsure you sent it " her response "what do you mean Forsure?! Why would I say I sent it if I didn't ?!" I love this Walgreens. It is a little bit further from my house but I go the extra mile because of the great customer service. The manager is great. He is always so polite to me and helps me whenever needed in such a polite manner. Also, there's a cashier there (I can't recall her name, and I just checked and unfortunately it isn't on my receipt) but she is so great. She's always so patient with me and keeps a conversation going. I really enjoy coming to this Walgreens. In fact, I come to this one instead because I had an unpleasant experience at the one by my house. I really enjoy this Walgreens, especially their staff. Great savings as well! This Walgreens is usually clean and well stocked. Don't be shocked if when you check out you'll be confronted with a well trained cashier who must be getting a bonus for the upselling they do, for there is always a deal of the day they push on you. I've purchased batteries, lightbulbls, snickers when I didn't need them.. yes call me a sucker. The only complaint I have is that the idea of running in to Walgreens is to get in and out fast, yet at times there is a long line to check out an no effort to open another register. read more

Drove to this location, which was very far from my home to find a specific item which was listed as in stock on the website. The manager and the other employee went above and beyond to help me find the item even though it was out of stock. They felt bad that I drove so far and provided me with five dollars towards my item which I was able to order online instead. Thank you for your kindness Walgreens staff. :) read more

I like coming here for my small last minute needs & wants.This store has everything I love going in for AS SEEN ON TV GADGETS & buying them just to see if they work as how they say they do in the infomercials. The shelves here are always full never empty & the employees who work there are very helpful, also the service is fast never long dreadful lines or long waits @ least not any that I have experienced anyway. read more

So i just had surgery on my foot and this is the 3rd pharmacy i had to uber to. I tried calling them to see if they had the drugs on my prescription due to this about to be the 3rd pharmacy i was going to have to uber to. They told me that they couldn't tell me if they carried the pain meds prescribed to me over the phone due to company policy. I expressed to them i cant drive and im taking a uber there so i just want to know so i wouldn't go for nothing once again said she could not. I get there wait for the pharmacist a Asian female cant remember her name she told they didnt have it in stock. I told her thats i asked over the phone i just had surgery and im in pain i could have avoided having tp pay for an uber. I also told the walgreens at merced and hacienda told me it wasn't in stock she looked at me and said she lied to you thats what we do when you call for those meds over the phone. I had to file a complaint with the California Pharmacy Board. The pharmacist refused to fill a valid prescription. She said it needed a second signature. No one has ever heard of that before and I got the prescription filled elsewhere. However, a lack of the medication caused harm to my medical condition. read more
