A massive bar with selections too numerous to list here. The staff was outgoing and helpful. You got your money's worth and then some with the entrees and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. The menu ranged from $9 burgers to $20 sandwiches. Appetizers looked tempting. The servings were generous. What more could you ask for? Big screens throughout the restaurant featuring sports events and the jukebox was playing rock and roll classics. The crowd was a nice mix of young and old. This would be a great place to catch a Kentucky game with your friends. I had the Firehouse Club sandwich with fries and I was blown away. My wife had cheese quesadillas and was equally impressed. The burger buns tasted stale, the chicken tenders were overcooked to the point of being inedible (we sent them back with no offer of replacement). Just an overall sad, disappointing experience. I actually felt bad for our sever, who said it was his second shift ever - they set him up for failure. We didn't get one refill, waited over 45 min for appetizer and over an hour and 15 min for our mains - will not be back...the management is pathetic and the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

The buffalo chicken tacos were also tasty, although I wish there had been an option to order them with grilled chicken instead of fried. The staff is always friendly, and we've consistently had good service every time we've visited. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with good food, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere for dinner or game day, Banners is definitely worth checking out.

There were a couple of highlights. The Whiskey Sour was excellent and probably one of the best parts of the meal. The Mac and Cheese was also absolutely perfect and something I would happily order again. I do want to give credit to the staff because they were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the experience. They even offered us a gift card, which was very generous and encouraged us to give the restaurant another try. Unfortunately, we were still let down by the food on our return visit. I think this restaurant has a lot of potential. The ambiance is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the presentation of the dishes is impressive. With a menu revamp and more attention to flavor and overall food quality, I think Carson's on Main could really thrive. For now, the food is what keeps me from giving it a higher rating.

Later the Manager came to the table and said Roman crunch was not available. I cancelled my food order and groused to my husband. I try to eat low carb/high protein diet.
