The Savior - chicken sandwich, zesty slaw, relajo sauce, radish, cucumber, tomato
    Vinh N.

The chicken sandwich was most enjoyable. Nice balance of crispiness of the chicken, crunch of the radish and cucumber, zing from the slaw, and spices from the relajo sauce. (You should enjoy it ASAP to maintain chicken crispiness) Loaded yucca fries weren't my favorite as they got a bit soggy, maybe because I waited to eat it after my sandwich maybe it was curtido. Overall I am happy to come back for another chicken sandwich as well as to try their pupusas. Their website and social media lists that's it's only 2 OPTIONS each week, a meat and a veg option.

    Awesome decor.

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

I've actually traveled to El Salvador before, so I've had the opportunity to experience the food there firsthand. Since coming back, I really haven't found many places that gave me that same authentic taste and feeling--until coming here. Everything we tried was amazing. The pupusas, beans, plantains, meats, and all the traditional flavors were on point. You can tell the food is prepared with that real homemade Salvadorian style. If you've been to El Salvador and know what authentic Salvadorian food is supposed to taste like, this place will bring back some memories. In my opinion, this is about as close as you're going to get without actually getting on a plane and going to El Salvador. Great food, authentic flavors, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

I only ordered one pupusa because I wanted to test the waters before committing to a full meal, but that one pupusa was absolutely . The flavor was on point, it was cooked perfectly, and you could tell it was made fresh. If that's what they're putting out on a single pupusa, I can only imagine how good the rest of the menu is. I'm definitely going to have to make another trip back so I can give the rest of the menu a proper shot. First impression? Definitely a win.

I order askinh the waitress what to get and had two tacos. Enjoyed it and when I went to pay she tells me you have to be charged min $10 on your card. No one told me and she said it's on the menu. I did not even look at the menu and the server should mention I said. She said we can not do that! I'm like, yes you can and should. I worked 20yrs serving. She said well you can leave and not come back! Wow. I wasn't even being rude just honest. She offered me to buy a Mexican soda for $4.00 which is usually $1.50 max anywhere else. And wow. Such disrespect! I asked about their children and was treated like dirt from this owner. Terrible. I'll never refer anyone again and this is no way to treat someone who simply disagreed with you and was put in a situation because I wasn't told there was a $10 min with a card. And I didn't have cash. Outrageous disrespect!!!! SMH Bye Felisha. I've told many people about this place and I will be sure to tell people how I was treated. Disgraceful. And, how do you serve food and drinks and don't offer a restroom. They used to have one we could use. So I had to go next door and ask the restaurant if I could use theirs. Thankfully they let me. Over all soooo terribly disappointing. Wow!
