Reservations are highly recommended and I can see why! The service was fast and efficient and the place is cozy with vintage decor. The Dutch baby came out piping hot, creamy and so flavorful. Our side order of sausage was thick and juicy and our sunny side egg was perfect. I think the Americano was nice and bold. A definite place to check when you're in Seattle.
What a secret gem of a place! Just tucked in from a bustling Denny street! We started out with some cappuccino and iced latte, and they were lovely. They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!
Come early, BUT COME. Service was amazing. Food was sooooo good. The Dutch babies are a must. I was hoping to get a seat here, and we got so lucky because this place was packed! We waited over an hour, but it was SO WORTH IT. Super close to the Space Needle. We visited from California so we explored the Space Needle & the Museum and came here afterwards. Lowkey the highlight of our trip.
One of the best brunches in Seattle! The restaurant feels like a mix of a diner and a family restaurant. It's small and intimate and everyone is super friendly. Reservations are required for brunch and you'll have to make it 1-2 months in advance, but it's definitely worth it! Their menu changes often but they always have a savory and sweet Dutch baby which you have to get. If you've never had a Dutch baby, it's like a cross between a Yorkshire pudding and a pancake. I have a preference towards savory dishes, so I love their savory Dutch baby which is filled with eggy cheesy goodness. The edges are browned and crispy but the interior is custardy and flavorful. The other dishes here are also amazing. Recently, they had an eggs Benedict with pulled pork and instead of an English muffin, it was a mac and cheese cake. Probably one of the best brunch dishes I've had. Another thing I like about this place is that the prices are super reasonable. Most dishes are around $20 which is great considering the quality and that we live in Seattle.

The cafe is small, and during the warm season it's tough to get a reservation if you have a party larger than two I recommend planning ahead of your actual arrival.
The hype is real! Reservations for TPC's famous brunch and Dutch babies are hard to get but so worth it. This is a small, beautiful and homey space that served one of the best meals I've ever had in Seattle. - Eggs Benedict - the Irish colcannon cake (purple potatoes, cabbage, kale, onion) wowed me. It tasted like excellent beef brisket. The eggs were perfectly poached, the bacon was nice and crispy, and the roasted potatoes went great with the lemony hollandaise and curried ketchup. - Sweet dutch baby (huckleberry compote, cream cheese mousse) was divine. These dishes were the perfect portion for two. To top it off, we had a wonderful server, Eileen, who was so warm and genuine. It is hard to find such nice small town hospitality in the city. TPC tops my list of must-try brunch places!
Tilikum Place has been an interesting place that I have heard is a must try in the Seattle area, and I'm glad to have pay this restaurant a visit! We went on a Saturday around 2PM and we had a reservation so no wait was needed. Due to the location of the restaurant, I consider parking to be moderate to very difficult to find depending on the time of the day. Majority if not all of the options are street side with a 2 hour limit (typical Seattle downtown parking vibe) on all days except for Sunday I think. The ambiance of the restaurant is slow casual, as most of the diners are dine in. Service is warm, attentive, and relatively fast as we were able to get most of our food in the time frame that was mentioned. I had a couple of items, which I'll review down below: French Onion Soup ($10): I got the small portion, which is about a larger coffee cup size serving. There is a thick layer of Gruyere cheese garnished on top with pieces of bread sticking out as you can see in the photo. The stock is has a hearty deep beefy flavor with a sweet slightly acidity after taste. It does taste very comfortable and would hit the soul nicely on a cold day. Dutch Babies ($17 - $18): We got the Sweet Dutch baby ($17) and Savory Dutch baby ($18) since we wanted to try the different flavors and textures between the two. I would describe the texture is a lighter fluffier crepe in terms of texture and flavor. I think I liked the savory one more as it had heartier texture and maintained the crepe crispiness on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. The sweet one became a bit more soggy as time went on, but that's just down to personal preference. Do note that they take 30 minutes to make. Personally, I didn't get very full off of one of them, you may need to order more in addition if you are very hungry. In the end, I think that Dutch Babies are novel breakfast experience and that Tilikum Place is a good place for a light brunch that you can chat with your friends over. I am not the biggest bruncher, so I probably wouldn't revisit, but I would recommend checking out Tilikum Place if you are a big bruncher.
Every bite was completely delicious in this small family owned restaurant. The menu changes weekly so it is worth going back to again over and over. You need reservations and street parking nearby but very much worth it. Service staff were kind and informative.
I can't believe it's taken me so long to get to Tilikum Place Cafe. I had such a great brunch there and I can't wait to come back and try more items. My friend and I were lucky enough to get seats from a walk-in, but you should probably make a reservation for any more than two people. It's always busy! So busy that the service does take a while. The food is great. We got Baked Eggs and a Dutch Baby, both dishes were hearty and filling. You must get the Baked Eggs with bread and butter; mostly because it's too salty on its own. It's so great with the bread, the herby taste and the creaminess are wonderful. The Dutch Baby was pretty great too! I would compare it to a personal pie with fabulous crust. I didn't taste the goat cheese much, but I enjoyed the cinnamon + marionberry jam. I'd definitely come back to try the other items on the menu! Everyone recommends the dutch baby but honestly the other items looked more interesting, so don't limit yourself.
This was the perfect place for a weekend brunch & catchup with friends! The vibe inside was so pleasant and relaxing and it was easy to talk to each other. Their well known dish is the dutch baby -- my friend got the savory one which was delicious and I got the sweet one which was also very good. I honestly would probably get the savory one next time! Overall, a great place for brunch, but make sure to make a reservation well in advance because it is so popular and they get booked out.

The food was delicious my only critique is the eggs of the baked eggs were over cooked. The yolk was basically hard boiled rather than jammy/runny which was not the best. The basil, tomato and corn flavors were so yummy though and I would order again in the hopes that the egg yolk was a more ideal consistency
We had a great brunch at Tilikum! In a place that has no shortage of good food to choose from, Tilikum sticks out for its dutch babies and kind service. We had a 20 min wait so we walked down to the Space Needle and then came back to enjoy brunch at the bar top (best seat in the house). We got to watch the kitchen magic and chat with the staff. Chris was our server and he was great. We had the baked eggs and the classic dutch baby (note, it takes a bit longer but well worth it). Food was incredibly flavorful and kept you coming back for more! Freshly squeezed oj was awesome too. Highly recommend Tilikum for a nice Seattle brunch. I would recommend booking a resy as the space isn't that big and it is a popular spot for Brunch.
Wow, just wow! Fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors. Today it all started with our fun and energetic server, Jesson who navigated us through the well-balanced menu. We enjoyed the quiche and BLT Benny, a side of homemade sausage, a cup of the best-ever veggie soup with ham hock. And, of course a bottle of bubbles. Everything was top notch, and we dine out frequently finding some of the best gems here in Seattle. Can't wait to come back to check out Chef's profiteroles and homemade ice cream. Tilikum Place Café is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere, and a must visit on every trip to Seattle, as long as it happens to be on one of the days they're open! Intimate atmosphere, friendly service, and the best fresh, locally sourced, farm/sea to table food. We usually go with at least 4 people so we can order a half dozen oysters on the half shell and another half dozen baked (both amazing). Then, we always get one of their salads - so delicious and unique. We love the BLT salad, this time the shredded beat and carrot salad was excellent, and so was the butter lettuce salad w/ housemade Green Goddess dressing. The soups are insane, but this time we tried the smoked sablefish with an unreal horseradish cream and beets. For entrees, we ordered the pork w/ nectarines (out of this world), moussaka and halibut. For dessert, profiteroles and their galette of the day w/ housemade ice cream - wow. An absolutely delightful meal. Can't wait to return! read more

We tried all three Dutch babies - classic, sweet, and savory - and they didn't disappoint. The savory-sweet combo was the highlight, especially if you enjoy contrasting flavors. The baked eggs, however, were just okay - nothing particularly good. The ambiance was cozy and nice, right in downtown Seattle. However, be prepared: the wait can be long, and once you're done, they'll need the table, as there's usually a line. Overall, it's worth a visit - just make a reservation and come for the Dutch babies. I was told there are seasonal Dutch babies so try again sometime in June maybe. Brunch Reservations are required since it's a small space, but I was able to make one the day before in person to sit at the bar as a solo diner. There was a line outside before the doors opened for weekend brunch so I had high expectations, and they delivered. Service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh and cooked with care! Can't go wrong with any food at Tilikum Place Cafe. The baked eggs are to die for. The Dutch Babies (either savory or sweet pancakes) are heavenly. You cannot miss the French onion soup. That's their signature soup. Their service has been consistently good. Wait staff are always courteous and attentive. read more
Probably one of my favorite brunch places with really delicious food and not just your generic brunch items. Definitely make a reservation! I genuinely wish I could've ordered everything on the menu. Even the lattes came with little shortbread cookies on the side. The Dutch pancakes are a must get! It takes a bit longer than the other dishes on the menu to come out - they say 30 minutes but I feel like it probably only took 15-20 when I was there. All the dishes were so flavorful and hearty, and they have housemade ketchup that tastes really good too. There's a nice balance of sweet and savory items as well as soups/salads/large breakfast plates/etc. so there really is something for everyone. Food - i had the sweet dutch baby. i do not like pancakes. im a waffle person. but dutch babies are very different. much lighter texture. also the berries on the sweet baby gave a good contrast. Service - very friendly & helpful. let us pick to squish into the table for 2 so we wouldnt have to wait. appreciate you!!! I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. Didn't make reservations but was able to be seated in about 30 mins. Eileen was our server and was extremely kind and friendly. It was just the Mister and I however, we ordered enough food for 4 . We ordered the savory dutch baby, quiche, baked eggs, french onion soup, cranberry coffee cake, side baked beans, home made sausage, and potatoes and Rose lemonade. Let me tell you .... no pictures will show you just how good all these things were! It was absolutely delicious!!! I later found out that today was Eileen's last day as she will be retiring after working 50 years in the restaurant business. So with that in mind ... I gave her a $50 tip!! The whole entire staff was beyond amazing and really friendly! I felt like I was at home here!!I will be back!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal!!! read more
You need reservations! Or don't bother. It's usually fully booked. But if you're dining there, you'll not noticed people waiting in line or that the servers rush through anything. Decor is old style homey feel... like like. Menu is simple and like the server says, everything is good. After tasting a special brunch, i agree! Dutch baby is great tasting pastry with nicely whipped butter & maple syrup. And the TPC breakfast is as good as it gets. Did you see the house made catsup?! Not extremely sweet like the H or D brands. One can taste the tomatoes in the catsup. Cappuccino is also amazing! A must try spot ! Hope to be back soon. read more

Easily my favorite place for brunch in Seattle. I had their French onion soup 10 years ago and I thought about it all the time. Revisited the French onion soup last weekend and it is just like how I remember it; it's perfection! The Dutch babies are fluffy and delicious and easily what they are known for at Tilikum Place cafe. read more
Was able to reserve a table for Saturday brunch. Place is small but seating plan looked efficient. Our server was friendly. Prices aon the higher side. We got a few things here but felt that everything was just okay except the dutch baby which was delicious and stood out. If youre luck you can get seating by the window for a view of the Space Needle. read more
I have been trying to check this place every time I am in Seattle but have always been unable to snag a reservation. After finally getting one this time around, I fully understand why this place is always so busy. The food here was great! I really enjoyed all the dishes we tried. However, the star of the show was their signature Dutch baby pancake. This is a cross between a Yorkshire pudding and a pancake. Sweet, slightly eggy and custard like pancake that was topped with syrup and strawberry made for one of the best bites this trip. People wait months to try this and I would do the exact same. They rotate the flavors for these every season and would love to come try their savory options. The food was also very reasonable for downtown Seattle. French onion soup - Legit! The soup flavor is good. Not too salty and taste the sweetness of the caramelized onion. Also a nice touch of bits of beef. Enhance the texture of the soup. The gruyere cheese was of great quality. Aromatic and tasty. Dutch baby, classic - Didn't disappoint. Great texture and really enjoyed the lemon flavor and rich egg flavor with the Dutch baby. Love this spot for brunch! Reservations book up quickly for the weekends, so make sure you reserve far enough in advance. The menu also changes quite often, which is great because every visit allows you to try something new. However, they do keep some items consistent like their Dutch babies - which we always have to order for the table (my favorite is the classic or the sweet). Most recently had a really great Asian chicken salad with a baby baguette on the side and it really hit the spot. Parking can be a little more difficult to find in the area so keep that in mind when planning your time. read more

Tried this place while visiting the city and it was so wonderful!! First of all the service was a 10/10, everyone was so nice! My server was very outgoing and friendly, and the two young men working the bar were very attentive and polite as well!! The food was really good too. I had a sweet Dutch baby and a side of bacon. I also got the Hera's crown drink which is non alcoholic. It was my first time ever having a Dutch baby and it was so good that I'm trying to find local places near me that serve them cause wow it was so yummy!! Definitely definition of a comfort food. Also, the menu here changes every week which I think says a lot about how the place is run! Sounds like a lot of work, but the quality is still fantastic! The interior is very nice as well, I think it's a cute and classy little spot. It's very close to the space needle and mpop so if in the area I highly recommend!! read more
After attempting to get a reservation here time and time again (seems like every time I check it's booked up) we finally decided to go and arrive about 15 minutes before open in order to get a walk in table. It worked! But there was a line, both of reservations and walk ins. The place was full within 10 minutes and walk ins were repeatedly told it was booked the rest of the day. Make a reservation or show up early. The place was clean and had great character. We sat in a window bar seat facing the street, it was secluded and fun to watch outside while eating. The waiter was also very kind, funny, and helpful. Nice to see when a lot of times you just get bare minimum service. Now finally, for the food and coffee. The mocha and french press were solid, but nothing to write home about. We split the TPC breakfast plate and the classic Dutch baby. TPC breakfast 5/5 - it was delicious plenty of food on its own. Classic Dutch baby - 3/5. It was good, but not great. This place is definitely worth checking out if you are committed to getting a table. read more

FINALLY. A place that deserves its high rating on Yelp... Our short Seattle trip has been surprisingly disappointing in terms of food, but finally redeemed itself via our last meal here. Found this gem on chat gpt. It was recommended for dinner. We reserved and popped on by. Space was so cozy and inviting. Lovely lighting. Staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. Food was super tasty. I had the bruschetta and the chicken pot pie, perfect starter and main. The mix of flavors on the bruschetta was surprisingly delicious. The crust on the pot pie was flaky and lovely. I ate it all. Shared the chai profiteroles, only a half order cuz we were stuffed but we managed to fit them in. Sooo good!! read more
We found this lovely gem on our way to the Space Needle. We were able to sit at the bar, but highly recommend making a reservation. The menu changes weekly. Our server, Chris, was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly/inviting. I had a Buck's Fizz and the Quiche Lorraine. My friend had the French onion soup with a vegetarian sandwich. We both loved our food. So flavorful. It doesn't seem like the do. I found the Benedict's on the brunch menu only which is on Saturdays Sunday's from 8am -3pm. The lunch menu which is served on the weekdays did not have any Benedict's.
