I have some great memories of different locations of Biscuit Bitch but I think the quality has changed a bit since I last had them, and unfortunately I thought the Crumpet spot was better. I ordered what I usually order, which was a buttered biscuit with jam and an extra biscuit with gravy. The jam and butter just felt lower quality, neither were handmade and the biscuits tasted stale when I was there first thing in the morning. Although I will say the gravy wasn't too bad and helped make the biscuit more enjoyable. Biscuits are great! We passed by one of the locations for this local restaurant each morning next to our hotel. It did a brisk carry out service and had limited seating. We also witnessed several hotel guests get takeout orders from here and dine in the lobby meeting area. Food items looked delicious and store front and property were all well maintained. We woke up on our first full day in Seattle and my always-has-to-have-breakfast boyfriend was in need of breakfast. The woman behind the fake register told us you couldn't order a side of meat but I'm glad I checked all the areas of the online ordering because there was the option for a side of meat. So we ordered and stood on the sidewalk with everybody else waiting. It took about 25 minutes to get our food and because I wanted coffee, and there was nowhere to eat, we walked to a nearby coffee shop. We ended up sitting outside the coffee shop and I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee while my honey did not enjoy his breakfast. He liked the biscuit ok but said the gravy was really not good. We'd been to the original location maybe 10 years ago, and were sad to see it no longer has inside seating, so we went down the street to the 3rd Street location. Biscuits are as advertised - FANTASTIC. I had the Gravy option with cheese and bacon, and would actually say there was too much bacon, but I powered through. Wonderful. Only knock is it took over 30 minutes to get breakfast for two, and they didn't serve us our drip coffee until our food was ready. I was disappointed with my experience here in both service and quality. Upon arrival there was a good amount of people outside waiting for their orders, not overly crowded but maybe 5 parties ahead. There is not much seating other than the few tables available on the side walk so we had to stand for the majority of our wait time. We ordered two items, the hot mess bitch and the gritty scrambled cheesy bitch - we waited for 52 minutes before receiving our food. Normally, this wouldn't bother me but for almost one hour of wait time, in the cold, for two orders, it does seem a bit long. On top of the wait time, once we received our food and took our first bite, both orders were very bland. The hot mess bitch had a bit of flavor from the sausage but that was it. The gritty scrambled cheesy bitch tasted like eggs with milk and cheese. I'm not sure if this was an off day given that other reviews are great and the food itself did look delicious - it just lacked in flavor. The staff were friendly when taking our order which is why I'm giving this place two stars. But ambiance, food quality and wait time were disappointing. This reviews a little late, but I thought relevant as I saw some had a similar experience. When planning a Seattle trip, my partner really wanted to eat at this place. At the time, they were only doing takeout orders at the front & online. When we ordered, we were told that it was going to be a really long wait (at least 45 min), but that we would get notified when the order was ready, so we didn't have to wait around. As we were staying a few blocks away, we decided to wait in our room until the order was ready. 1.5 hours later and we never got the notification that our food was ready. We felt like that was way too long, but knew it was a popular place with a lot of people waiting, so we weren't sure if this was just a normal wait time. By that time, we just decided to check in person to see if it was ready. It was actually really difficult to get ahold of someone to ask the status of our order, which felt frustrating. We kept trying to catch the eye of the person handing out the orders, but we just ended up waiting in line again to get someone's attention. Turns out, our order had been ready for a while and had been sitting out. At this point the biscuit sandwich was basically cold/colder than room temp. I understand it's a popular place, and I'm sure the food would be a lot better if it was fresh/actually warm, but if you're going to tell customers that they will be notified that their food is ready, I would expect that we would actually be notified. If you come here, I'd recommend just waiting right outside even if it's a long wait. Overall, I really wish I got to try the biscuits fresh, but I feel like this past experience kind of discourages me from wanting to try again the next time I'm in the area. read more
