Great take out place!!! Love it!!
    James C.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a fun place!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We walked up and the line was out the door!! You walk up to place your order and you're greeted "What can I get for you Bitch?". We ordered a sausage, Egg, and Cheese Bitchwich! I know it's simple, but wow!! What flavor!! It so many layers of flavors with the perfect balance sweet and savory, Let me tell you...these "Bitches" can make some great food and make it fun for all the customers! Too bad it's all take out orders! But definitely a good spot to get something on the run! Cool place!! Highly recommend you stop by to see these "Bitches"!

The biscuit was a bit on the dryer side but the taste was good, portion was on the bigger side and especially for the price. My boyfriend tried the biscuit with bacon and cheese and a gravy. I believe it was about $15 or so? He spent about 22 total with a drink too. Service is friendly, the vibes here are basically the same treatment for everybody, if you get what I mean.

I went on a Monday, late morning. There wasn't much of a line so it was perfect. I ordered and paid and waited about 15 minutes for my order. It was delicious. The chai was perfect. The sandwich was just about perfect. I wasn't expecting the sauce, so it was a little surprise, but yummy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are tables and chairs along the sidewalk so there were places to sit and eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The first Street location is very close to the train station so it is easy to get to. I'm definitely going back when I'm in Seattle next.

I saw the reviews for this cheeky named spot on Yelp and knew I had to give it a try during my Seattle trip and it did not disappoint! I ordered the gritty scrambled cheesy bitch and it was so delicious! The food itself was so comforting and the flavors worked so well together! The grits in it really made the meal for me. This is a small spot where you order at the front and wait for your name to be called. Because this is a popular spot, wait times can be a bit long. You can either take your food to go or there are a few tables out on the side walk in front of the store to enjoy your food. Overall, I would recommend this spot and would come back in the future!

I'm going to acknowledge up front I have biscuit bias being from the south but these were still good! Looking for breakfast on Sunday morning and found this place on yelp and truly the pro tip is to order online!!!! We did that because we weren't sure how long would it take and we had to walk there and I'm so glad we did! We got there just before 11am and they sold out pretty quickly after so order ahead! I got their house special basic BEC biscuit and shared grits with a friend. The grits are fine lol not worth it imo but the biscuits are tasty! Sauce is a great touch and a solid tasting biscuit.

Awe man, I will dream about this breakfast. I stopped by Biscuit Butch while at a work conference. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Grabbed an online order and manage to snag one of the outdoor tables to people watch and enjoy my food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a large crowd of people waiting for their food so I'd recommend ordering online and then picking up. The staff was really nice and it was endearing being called bitch in an endearing way! The biscuit sandwich was butter and so tasty, and the creamy grits were so satisfying. I will have to go back during my next visit.

Being insulted while ordering food wasn't really on my Seattle visit bingo card but when I saw this business name on my nearby I knew I had to pop in for a visit and it did not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating at this location is outdoors only.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordering can be done either at the register or by scanning the QR code out front. My food took about 15 min from when I ordered and I had plenty of time to hear the cashier greet all the "new b*tches" in line. Truly highly entertaining but also super polite when you ask them a question. The cheesy garlic grits were delicious and the sausage "b*tchwich" was also great but again by far my favorite part of all of this was just the novelty of the experience. Also you get a free sticker if you post on social media so what a fun souvenir I'll be bringing home and insulting everyone in my life with!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute place, friendly staff, and appreciate they have gluten free options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The gluten free biscuit was decent but not fabulous. Mushroom gravy was tasty. Garlic grits were VERY heavy on the garlic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor seating only.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Haha! The name will grab you, but the awesomely large and tasty biscuit creations will capture your heart. You will come back often. This is clearly a local favorite place. My sister and I found this great sideway seating window store (no indoor seating) and was it a delight! Orders are made through the sidewalk windows with a lively person who is all for good service with a great smile and upbeat attitude. I had the spam and egg breakfast biscuit. Generous size and satisfying for sure. The grits were a nice side dish in the cooler weather that day. Kitchen is on site so fresh as fresh can be.

    Chris D.

Enjoyed my egg and cheese. Nice size, good flavor and flaky biscuit. Did a pick up order and didn't have to wait. Friendly staff too.

Place used to be busy but ordered with no problem on a Sunday morning. Ordered on their website and picked up at the counter. Friendly staff but will call you by their restaurant name. We got the buttered biscuit and gritty scrambled cheesy bitch. Gravy was amazing and combined with the grits and soft biscuit was perfect. The grits had great texture and a good garlic flavor. Biscuit wasn't dry. Warm and fluffy inside with crispy outside. The maple peanut butter was unique and tasty. Take out place by pokes place. Would recommend ordering o line and getting a text message when it's ready.

This place had great reviews on Instagram and seemed like a good place to get some good southern breakfast . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Pike Place location is it to go window. They have outdoor seating not too far, first come first serve.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You place your order online, or at the walk up window. Be patient there will be a line and a wait. We waited about 30 minutes after placing our order. We Got the "gritty scramble cheesy bitch" (I added bacon) and " smoking hot bitch". As someone born or raised in the south I love grits. And I love my grits creamy. These grits were lumpy. Smoking hot bitch had some cold jalapeños thrown on top. I would've liked them to at least cook them.

    Smaly K.

My bf loves biscuits, especially biscuits and gravy. We were visiting Pike Place Market, and ended up walking past here, so he had to try. They were busy, and had a QR code for us to order online for pickup. He ordered the Straight-Up Bitch and added scrambled eggs and hot links. I ordered the Bitchwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. We enjoyed it. The biscuits were good texture. Good fulfilling breakfast. I just needed ketchup (I like my breakfast foods with ketchup).

Is there a way to see the wait BEFORE I order online, without actually being at the restaurant? I would like to order before I leave my hotel, and time it so its ready around the time I get there.

No, the establishment is not that high tech but definitely worth the wait in more ways than one. All of my experience with BB has been a consistent 15-30 minute wait based on the day. I would suggest you order and time it around 20/25 minutes out.… Read more

Planning my annual Seattle trip for October. Is biscuit bitch still open during the pandemic?

Yes, it is! You just order online and they'll call your name out. There's little 2-person tables right outside you can sit at, too.

Is this place even open? I came here twice before 11 and they were closed.

Yes, only CLOSED December 24th-Jan 1, Easter Sunday, Seattle Pride Sunday and Thanksgiving Day

Why are the prices higher for a vegetarian version?

Completely vegan so ingredients take more effort to produce and are not typical.

I tell my non-Asian friends that they should leave an Asian restaurant if you don't see any Asians inside. I am happy to say we were the odd ducks in this place! Love me some legit soul food. The menu is straightforward. We ordered at the counter. The food is brought to our table. The food took quite a while with big crowds coming in after us. I suspect they cook in batches as multiple groups received food at the same time. It was mostly self-service (utensils, water) until the restaurant quieted down, then we saw servers cleaning tables, etc. The Food: Combo Dinner with two sides, $26 - 5 Stars The combo plat offers two meat choices. I chose the wings and catfish. The wings are sizable and plump. Highly recommend. The catfish was a thinner cut and a bit dryer. I liked the very thin breading on the catfish, not greasy, and it tasted good with Tabasco. For sides, both the collard greens and fried okra are excellent. In fact, I say the okra is perfection! The little corn bread is just right for me. I thought the corn bread has good flavor while hubby said it was too dry. Catfish Dinner with two sides, $24 - 3.5 Stars Hubby complained the catfish was too thin. He's not a Tabasco person, so that doesn't help. I gave him two wings to calm him down. Lol. He loved the hush puppies the best. They are huge with a wonderful crisp. I agree with him! He thought the yams are too sweet; they do look sweet in the liquids but isn't that want yams are intended to be? I think he just needs to order differently in the future. Note they have a 3.5% service charge for credit card purchases. See line on the menu photo.

The good to the last drop sauce had bold flavors although quite salty, just perfect for dipping the focaccia in. Unc's Wing was equally endearing: rubbed in a 13-spice blend, with perfect crispness and plump, juicy flesh beneath the coating. Butter-basted cabbage was a rare treat: basted with butter that accentuates the sweetness of caramelized cabbage. Miso butter sauce a great match. The drink I ordered was less intriguing: Kinfolk (bourbon, Jamaican, rum, Cynar, and pecan liqueur) was bourbon heavy, very balanced nonetheless just not memorable. The chocolate truffle was the only item we did not enjoy: it had hard shell and very dense filling.

THE SHORT OF IT: - Absolutely exceptional ambiance, food,…read moreand service. I can't wait to go back! Service was quick, attentive, and everything arrived in a very timely manner given how busy they were on a Saturday evening. The menu truly has something for everyone and the wine list is exceptional. We also had a birthday at the table and still felt special and well-attended despite every table being full. THE INSIDE: - The stained glass windows and hanging lights give such a warm, cozy, yet upscale vibe. - There are many tables and booths. - Handicapped accommodations can be made, but I'd ask in advance, as some areas are tougher to navigate than others. THE FOOD WE TRIED: - Pasta dish: Garlic Fennel Sausage, Oyster Mushrooms, and Snap Peas with Creczenza, White Truffle Oil, and Tagliarini balsamic, red and green basil, parsley, grana padano. Absolutely stunning. I could not finish it, so I'd suggest splitting it with someone else if you can't take it to go. It was so ridiculously flavorful and fresh. I want to eat this 11 more times. - Scallops dish: Sea Scallops Seared in Cast Iron with Oyster Mushrooms and Yellow Corn Risotto asparagus pistou, red basil, white truffle oil, crescenza, fine herbes. Presentation was gorgeous and scallops were melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The corn risotto underneath would honestly be just as good on its own. - Steak dish: Snake River Farms Wagyu Baseball Cut Sirloin 9 oz. The savory compound butter on top was the perfect amount, and the two sauces on the side (chimichurri and a brown one I wish I could name, it's in the pictures) were so good I could have eaten them by a spoon. Steak was cooked to an ideal medium rare with a perfect sear. This was the star of the table, even with everything else being SO GOOD. -Seafood: Big Easy Jambalaya, deep creole flavors, unapologetically spicy wild gulf prawns, chicken, house made andouille, tasso. The person who ordered this said it reminded them of straight New Orleans fare, so I trust their experience! Properly savory and chock full of flavor. SIDE NOTES: - Someone at our table had a seafood allergy and had no issues despite the vast amount of seafood on the menu and around us. - Reservation system is quick and easy. It feels a tiny bit cramped to move around outside of your seated area, but once you're seated, you absolutely won't care given how delicious everything is! - We ate here before attending an opera and had a cozy corner booth reserved months in advance, so that may have improved the experience a bit. :)

We came about 30 mins early for reservation and the host was able to accommodate our early arrival. The restaurant is nice inside and has a unique vibe. When our waitress arrived, I informed her it was my birthday and overall her energy was just dry throughout our service. Not that I was expecting her to give me a cake but a smile would have went a long way. I ordered one of their margaritas and it was meh, overall I just didn't have a good cocktail anywhere we dined in Seattle. I ordered one of their king salmon dishes that was "creole style" but severely lacked seasoning. My boo ordered the steak, which also lacked salt and was served with boxed mash potatoes, which they should be ashamed for at this price point. I also had 4 oysters as an appetizer and they were so small! I was expecting more from the seafood as it seems to be what Seattle is known for. They oysters were fresh, but $22 for four tiny oysters is offensive. This experience may have gotten another star if the service was better but this is place I'd just skip.

The positives: staff was kind, pastor at the counter would make jokes with customers and you could tell they had regulars during lunch time. Fries were well seasoned, hush puppy was good and Mac was acceptable. My only issue with the catfish was that it was overcooked and became a bit chewy (see photo). It's mostly because I find the large majority of biscuit places on the West Coast to be subpar - either dense and dry inside, or too similar to cake, like the baker substituted cake flour for good old fashioned White Lily. When I saw a bunch of people recommend Seattle Biscuit Company, I decided to give them a try. The first time I visited a biscuit place in the PNW a ton of people recommended, Pine State Biscuits in Portland for reference, I came out extremely disappointed. Hopefully this time would be different. I have to say, pricing is a bit ridiculous here. Just as a comparison point, the special fried chicken biscuit here is $27. The fried chicken biscuit at the place I grew up eating at is currently $5. The plain biscuit is $7 here vs. $1.29 there. Is it worth the price? I started out with a plain biscuit to judge their basic building block: Plain Biscuit ($7) - These are massive biscuits, around half a pound in weight, easily dwarfing the size of 90% of other biscuits. The smell wafting out of the paper wrapper smells heavenly with the aroma butter and flour. The taste reminds me of my childhood growing up in the South. It's distinctively buttery and salty, warm and comforting, almost spot on in taste as compared to say, Bojangles. A lot of places on the West Coast don't add enough salt or butter, making the biscuit taste unpleasantly alkaline. This one has no issues at all in the flavor department. The bake on the biscuit is fantastic, leaving the exterior with a crisp crust all around, while the inside still remains moist and fluffy. It's not particularly layered or flaky, and the interior, while fluffy, has a bit more developed gluten, making it just slightly chewy and slightly denser than perfection. When trying to split by hand, it doesn't split cleanly and instead chunks, especially in the center. Yet it's moist and doesn't crumble apart easily. These biscuits stand on their own and don't need any accompaniment to be enjoyed. Out of all the biscuits I've eaten on the West Coast so far (15+ places), this one tastes the most like a good Southern biscuit. (5/5) I was impressed enough with the biscuit that I revisited the week afterwards to try a sandwich: Gus ($27) - This sandwich seems very expensive until the plate comes out. In between the giant biscuit comes two pieces of fried chicken breast (or perhaps one piece filleted into two). It's breaded and fried generally well - the outside is definitely crisp, although it doesn't adhere that well to the chicken and slides off very readily. The interior of the chicken is nice. I usually expect chicken breast to be dry, but this one is relatively moist, not dried out at all. The breading tastes sweet and salty. I wonder if they brine the chicken in sweet tea. Each side of the biscuit is slathered with a bit of sweet mustard and peppered with pickle slices, giving some acidity to cut through the sausage gravy fat. Between the pickles and the sweet breading, it reminds me of the flavor of a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. The sandwich is served on a bed of orange-colored sausage gravy. It's thick and rich, although perhaps a little on the floury side. There's plenty of sausage mixed in, giving a ton of meaty depth combined with black pepper and spices. In terms of portion size, my wife and I shared this sandwich and we had trouble finishing it. It's definitely enough for two people, which makes the pricing a little more palatable. (5/5) Sweet Tea ($5) - This one is definitely on the sweeter side compared to what I make at home. The tea doesn't have much astringency but it does have a nice generic black tea flavor. There aren't that many places in Seattle to get sweet tea, so I'd say it's passable. I did purchase additional plain biscuits as well and I have to say texture-wise, they are similar, but these new ones tasted distinctively less buttery than before. I think there might be some consistency issues although this second batch is still really good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the biscuits served at Seattle Biscuit Kitchen. I will definitely be revisiting in the future for more. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms.

I would recommend everyone should try this place at least once. I had the GUS... fried chicken,…read morepickle, sweet onion, mustard, egg and sausage gravy. Its a lot... im a big guy and a big eater and I could only eat half. The biscuit was great, and the gravy tasted a lot like Cracker Barrels sawmill gravy. The service was fine...simple order at the counter and seat yourself. The decor was cute kind of between industrial and farmhouse. Would I come again? Im not sure. Maybe in the winter because the food sits heavy and the cost is a tad pricey BUT...I truly think everyone should try it at least once.
