We were in town for the day and ate here. I would definitely NOT recommend it. Last night's dinner was a complete comedy of errors. I placed my order online without a problem. It said the order would be ready in 30 minutes. Fine. Got there 35 minutes later and was told it would be another 20 minutes. I was so surprised, I just stared at the wait person in the sparkly mask. She asked if that was ok and I responded "Do I have a choice?" To which she responded with she was expecting a response from me instead of silence - note I was so surprised I was trying to think of something to say without being rude. My daughter went back 20 minutes later, was the only person at the check in podium, and was totally ignored by sparkly mask. 10 minutes of waiting later, she was helped by someone else. 5 minutes after that the take out food was bagged and given to her. She got to the car and realized they did not give her our beverages. We both went back inside. There was another 5 minute wait for someone to help us, even though we were the only people at the check in podium, even though there were 4 wait staff to handle the 8 occupied tables. Told him I wasn't given my beverages. He goes to make the beverages comes back with the Italian soda and tells me he can't give me the glass of wine. Another of the wait staff says it is Washington law can't let a glass of wine leave the premises, but I could drink it there. I ask why I was able to order online and was told it is a glitch in the system, but again, I was welcome to drink it there. Like I'm going to guzzle a glass of wine while my daughter waits for her meal, and then drive back to the hotel while under the influence. By the way, a "glitch?" I seriously doubt that. The website had to have the selections programmed in and priced BY THE GLASS in order for me to order it. No where on the website was there a notice that wine could not be sold by the glass for take out, nor is there and option to select "dine in" or "take out" it was assumed the online ordering is take out. I had to ask for a refund on the glass of wine. After some back and forth, she handed me the money for the cost of the wine (from the wallet of the wait person who got the Italian soda). I asked about the tax. She indicated doesn't know how to calculate the tax, and pulled 50 cents from the tip jar, saying that should more than cover the tax ($9X.089=$.80). Got back to the hotel and there were no utensils, nor had we been asked if we needed any. The food was ok to good. Definitely not great. Definitely not worth the hassle of getting the food. read more

We got take out here on a Friday night. The alfredo was tasty, though I definitely got a tummy ache from the richness of the sauce. The pasta itself was disappointing--I've made and had homemade pasta many times, and this tasted virtually the same as the stuff from a box. My friend got the vodka sauce and thought it was okay. The breadsticks needed flavor too. However, I was really pleased by their outdoor dining set up--nice tables a good amount of space apart, heaters, lights. Got a recommendation to try this location from a Facebook group, so my wife and I visited. It's a smaller restaurant, but the welcoming atmosphere makes you quickly forget that. The menu options are well laid out, as is the wine selection. Oh goodness, the food though. Everything from the entrée, the appetizer, to even the coffee and wine, was perfect. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but now I imagine we'll be returning for every date night. Special points to their server Karina and their chef Corie. This is a small, family run restaurant, with good ambiance. Service was good when we got there because there were only 2 tables occupied. But there was just 1 server on a Saturday evening. Let's talk about food. I ordered eggplant parmesan and my companion ordered meatballs pasta. We got 3 breadsticks for the table, included with the meal. Eggplant was deep fried in oil that tasted stale, used and cheap. Fortunately or unfortunately, my body can tell immediately when the food is bad, especially cheap oil. As soon as I got out of there my throat hurt like crazy and I couldn't stop coughing. Bad cheap oil does that to me... now I will have a bad throat for a week. Did I mention that the spaghetti served with my dish was cold? My husband had a similar experience with his dish - extra salty, cold meatballs. Came here on a Friday evening with the 2 families - 8 of us enjoyed a taste of family style Italian food. The pasta selection was good and so tasty. I had the lasagna and would get it again I a heartbeat; sausage had a hint of heat to it which was so good. Service was on point, and the co-owner and chef was all about making her guests feel at home and satisfied with the food. Came here again in Jan 2020 and had the Vodka Sauce with fettuccine noodles and once again this place nailed it. First time visiting main Street location and clearly unprepared for the number of tables inside and out. Indoors temperature was excessively hot so the cooling system is clearly not adequate. More importantly food was fine not exceptionally good but okay. Serving staff (Kaylee) was excellent! Sadly had to apologize for the speed food preparation. Seems like they might be able to keep up with the number of tables if they had not added the outside seating. One or the other but both and the kitchen cannot possibly keep up. Took almost 45 minutes to get the salad. Really feel bad for the wait staff. The bad: -The bruschetta was SO soggy. Like. I squeezed it and liquid came out and it just sort of fell apart. -Both of our pastas we're pretty bland. The marinara was okay but the vodka sauce was pretty bland. -The breadsticks. Or should we call them "blandsticks." They were totally underdone and doughy and had 0 seasoning at all. There was garlic-looking seasoning on top of them but it had no flavor at all. I tried dipping them in the marinara and it just did not help. The good: -Our server was nice! We stopped in here on a visit to see family and were totally blown away by the dishes, awesome flavor and family vibes inside the restaurant. First time dining at Walla Walla Pasta Factory. Ambience was hospital and relaxed, good amount of people and noise was minimal. Our server, Mary, was attentive, helpful and professional, quite personable. I had the pasta with meat sauce, after debating over the spaghetti and meatballs. Turns out the sauce is the same for both, which I found out after asking our server. The pasta was perfect, al dente. The sauce, while delicious, was a little too spicy for my liking - this seems to be common as I had the meat sauce at Passatempo awhile back and found it too spicy as well, meaning too much kick. The sauce was very flavorful, the sausage was excellent, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I will definitely return, though I'll try a different sauce next time. I did sample my dining partner's chicken Alfredo and thought it was absolutely delicious. The server took our order, we asked for side plates as we were sharing a salad, never received after we asked three times. Ordered a caesar salad...wasn't Caesar. Mixed greens, dressing that didn't resemble ceasar and store bought croutons. Didn't eat it and they didn't ask to replace it. Ordered two pasta dishes. My husbands was ok, mine was not. Tasted like burned , day old sauce with reheated noodles. When the server asked if she could box things up. No....and here's why. She promptly got our bill for the full price, never tried to resolve the issue, just wanted us to pay. When I asked if she was going to take the dish off the bill....no. Maybe I can get you a discount? Our manager isn't here, let me get the cook. Who does this?! Own up to your food and make things right. read more

Let me start by saying our server (Hannah) was amazing. Other than that, I wish I would have not gone. I had a breadstick and then waited for my salad and pasta (alfredo) for over an hour. When it arrived, it was cold and not edible. One of the gals in our group got her salad right away, plus her entree. The rest of us waited. Two orders came out wrong, and when asked for it to be corrected the kitchen staff simply added so much rose sauce to an already sauced pasta that it was more of a soup. Despite reading reviews that they were slow, we took a chance on Pasta Factory. Big mistake. Slow doesn't begin to cover it. 40 minutes for salads and drinks! After waiting another 30 minutes, I asked our server, who asked the kitchen, how much longer to get our main courses and was told 20 minutes. Let's do the math...40 minutes for salads + 50 minutes more for entrees. The timing was now too tight for my son to wait for his entree so I left to drive him to a meeting at his school and asked to remove his meal from the bill which was done. I planned to rejoin my husband thinking by the time I returned she'd be close to serving our food. OR I got back and instead of 20 minutes, she had brought our meals in less than10 minutes. You can't make this stuff up! Poor service led to no meal for our son and cold dinners for us. We paid and left the cold food uneaten. You should be embarrassed to treat customers this way. The entire restaurant was waiting. No manager spoke with us or anyone else that I could see. While we should have our heads examined for attempting to stick it out and then paying for the privilege of being treated so disrespectfully, you should seriously think about how to communicate better with your guests. Let customers know up front you're slow as hell so they can decide whether or not to stay. We would have appreciated the honesty and happily gone elsewhere. First time coming to the pasta factory and wow I wish I would have came sooner. We went on a Saturday night with no reservations but was able to squeeze us in. The atmosphere is beautiful with outdoor patio. They use the indoor space so well to accommodate many tables. The beer price is incredible, especially being on Main Street. I ordered the clams and linguini which the sauce is made by order, it was by far the best thing I have tasted. My husband ordered their special which was a fettuccine Alfredo that included a fresh filet of salmon that was topped with cooked spinach and capers with a side of asparagus, it also included a salad. We both went with their roasted beet salad which was tossed in their house made sauce and had chunks of beet and other goodies. Not only was the food phenomenal but, the service was the best service we have had while visiting walla walla. Brittany was so Intentive and made sure our water was filled and wine was at par. She also offered the crème brûlée for desert which was the perfect portion. If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Brittany and the amazing cooking staff! read more

This place was so disappointing. I came here on a date and it took an hour to serve the food. The breadsticks were subpar and the pasta, when it finally came, was terrible. The noodles hardly soaked up the flavor, the sauce tasted weird and peppery, and the marinara was indistinguishable from the pink sauce. read more
