I think I've found my go-to plumber. I had a clogged kitchen sink and called Dave at 8am, leaving a message. He returned my call within about 10 minutes. After I explained the issue, he said he could be there by 10am. It turned out the P-trap was probably around 80 years old and likely original to the house. He ended up cutting it out, snaking about 30 feet of the kitchen line, and installing all new drain pipes under the sink. The whole job took about two hours. He was very mindful of how gross the old pipe was and made sure to keep the area clean while he worked. I'd definitely recommend him. Thanks for being available so quickly. read more

I'm fairly handy myself, but I contacted him because I needed two things; a certification for insurance purposes, and help with fix OR replacing a leaky shower head. He called me back ASAP, and was able to fit me in later that same day. In under an hours time, he completed his formal assessment of my water valves, walked me through the faucet fix so I can do it later myself (even helped my find the correct parts online) and spotted a previously unknown, but fairly basic, issue with my water heater! David was really great. He is communicative, and he also was willing to take the time to assess whether it was an easy fix or not first. I had an old leaky shower. One plumber told me he would have to replace the shower control trim and valves for $400-$600. David said he would charge his hourly rate (which was very reasonable), and it could be as simple as replacing some washers. Or it could be more complicated, he won't know until he sees it.
