Loving this place! Food is always good! Service is always great! I hear they have brunch buffet style- would like to give it a try one day

The wait time for a table was only a few minutes but the wait time for server to take drink orders was 10 minutes then another 5 til we got the drinks then another 10 before we could order our food then another 40 minutes before the food came out. So we waited for at least an 45 minutes to an hour for food once we sat down. Don't come unless you have 2 hours to spare which is ridiculous for a place this small. Bathrooms were clean and unisex. A lot of local art of the walls and they let you write on certain parts of the wall which was cool. It reminded me of Huey's. Ok so the food FINALLY comes out and they forgot my friends waffle which took 15 minutes to get after the rest of his food, we declined because he was done eating. My food wasn't edible. Chicken was dry and had no season, everything was dry about the Motel California. I literally ate 2 bites and gave it back.

This place is a little too divey for my taste. It's kinda grimy looking, the service was slow and somewhat on the rude side. The first two things I tried to order were unavailable. My husband liked his burger, but I could not have been less impressed.

Wally's is still as good as ever! I went in the other day with my family and noticed they've added a new buffet bar setup. We decided to stick with the menu and weren't disappointed. I ordered the Tito's Burrito, which was delicious. My other half had the Big Bottom Cow, and my daughter enjoyed the pancake with scrambled eggs. The service was excellent--attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

We went for brunch during the weekend and we got sat immediately! The staff were friendly and very attentive. I definitely recommend ordering the biscuits. They're really good! We enjoyed looking all around to pick out different things on the wall too! Very interesting things to see! We will be back.

This place was a 10/10 for service, food, and engagement. Overheard about this place from some coworkers, so my friend and I decided to try it out before a movie. The food was amazing - it was very homey and the perfect representation of southern comfort cuisine. The owners were so kind and attentive and hilarious! We asked for some menu suggestions and it was almost a comedy routine. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

My husband and I were waiting on his car to be worked on off of Germantown road and this was about 3 mi away so we decided to check it out. Now I am a person for whom human equality is incredibly important, so the South can be a little dicey as far as equality and modern times... and I can see where this place could go either way. There are a lot- and I mean a lot of American flag and Americana pieces of decor. However, there is also a lot of music appreciation decor, including melted record bowls on the wall, a graffiti wall, a painted guitar, and loads of portraits musicians. The toilet paper rolls are held on by revolver shaped finishings which were cute. A nod to Southern gun culture. The place is divey to be sure, but the food was good. I would have liked my English muffin cooked a little more, and my husband's biscuit was hard and chewy on the bottom like it had been microwaved. But I will say the omelets were excellent. We both had the same one and it was packed full of toppings. Our server was Zachary or Zach, and he was absolutely friendly, very quick, and very pleasant. He did a great job, give him a raise! For a dive bar/ restaurant, the restrooms were very clean and functional. Nothing was broken in the restaurant, and it felt safe and welcoming. A picky note: I don't know if it is this restaurant 's duty, but the beautyberry or dwarf crepe myrtle bushes in the parking lot are overgrown and not a great choice for those small spaces that extend into parking spaces and the sidewalk. Highs: Zach, omelet, grits.

Eggs Benedict and Southwestern Omelet

First time will definitely not be our last, our new favorite breakfast place! Service was some of the best we have had in a long time at any restaurant from start to finish. I had the eggs Benedict which were amazing and hubby had the Southwest Omelette and he said it was the best he has ever had. My hubby is a breakfast snob as it is his favorite meal so for him to brag says everything cause he is not near as picky as me. This will be our go to every weekend we get the chance now!!

When we first pulled up, the line was out the door, so we knew it was good. We waited maybe about 15 minutes, and then we were let inside where we placed our order at the countertop. The menu is pretty big, so there were lots of options to pick from. I got the rooster, a fried chicken sandwich, and others got the kitchen sink plate with a Bloody Mary. After you placed your order, you found an open table. All of the tables were clean and accessible. I loved the vibe! Very up beat breakfast theme. Soon after we got a table, our food arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! We all basically licked our plates clean lol. After they drop off your food, there is no 'service' so you do have to get everything yourself. But, I loved this actually since it was casual and it gave you an opportunity to get up and explore a tad bit. When we were done, the 'server' took our plates and we were out the door. The line outside kept steady! But, I see why! It was a great way to start the day.

I ordered the "Kitchen Sink" along with a side of biscuits and gravy, and everything was outstanding. The biscuits were fresh, fluffy, and easily some of the best I've ever had. The bacon was thick-cut, salty, crispy, and cooked perfectly. Every bite was excellent. I got takeout, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere or service, but the food alone was enough to impress me. I'm only in Memphis for two days, and this place was so good I'm already planning to come back tomorrow to try the breakfast tacos. Highly recommend if you're looking for an amazing breakfast spot in Memphis.

Driving from Oklahoma City to Maryland sounds absolutely insane (because it kind of is), so when we…read morefound ourselves passing through Memphis around lunchtime, I turned to my trusted Yelp experts to help us find a local gem. Sunrise Memphis did not disappoint. We stopped in around 12:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and didn't experience any crowds or much of a lunch rush. That being said, after eating here, I completely understand why people mention waiting hours on weekends. The ordering process is simple: walk up to the counter, place your order, grab a number, and seat yourself. I appreciated that they offer both breakfast and lunch all day because it meant we didn't have to choose between the two. I ordered the chicken tenders with tater tots and an Arnold Palmer. Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave in the middle of a long road trip. Kyler ordered the Kitchen Sink, which came with eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, and a biscuit. He asked if he could swap the cheesy grits and biscuit for biscuits and gravy, and they ended up bringing him everything anyway! It was a massive meal, but absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also loved the fun, eclectic atmosphere. The colorful Memphis touches throughout the restaurant gave it so much personality, and there was even a bar area that made me think this would be an absolute blast for brunch with friends. Sunrise Memphis ended up being one of our favorite surprises of the entire drive. If you're passing through town, do yourself a favor and stop here.

This place is quirky with its decor but on point with the food. Get the bacon! Always get the bacon! I'm still dreaming about it! Be warned! We were told during busy times, the line stretches around the building for a steady 8hrs at a time! May the timing of your visit ever be in your favor!

The food and coffee was so delicious. I wouldn't say I'm a food snob, but I'm particular about breakfast foods, and this made me very happy. We each ordered a coffee and the bacon potatoes to share. I ordered the Juniper Benedict and my friend ordered the loaded biscuits and gravy. The bacon potatoes were cooked perfectly, soft and slightly crunchy with plenty of cheese and bacon. The eggs in my eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and they used a regular house-made biscuit that soaked up the egg yolks perfectly. The restaurant was pretty big, but the ambiance felt like a small-town diner. The staff was super kind and attentive, too. The cost is par for the course for a nice diner in a big city. TLDR: Not a bad word to say about this place.
