TIP: They will ask corn or flour --- do flour. Everything is handmade, but those corn tortillas fall apart with all the sauce. Flour = durable and flavorful. I had plans, but the Universe had other plans for me that were superior. Try Veracruz All Natural --- and if your limited on $$$, you can snag 3 EXCEPTIONAL LOADED TACOS for about $20, that you will not find anywhere else!

Wally's, you guys never seem to let me down. Well it's only been my second visit (01/31/2015). This time I brought my family with me. I apologizing for showing up late hours of the night. But I was very pleased with service and great, fresh, hot, tasting food you guys have! The older gentleman was very warming while taking our order. That's always a Plus. And the younger gentleman is such a charmer! He stressed that they were in no rush and that we should take all the time we needed. He really knows how to entertain his customers. He offered us a free ice cream cone if we could tell him the name of the owner of Wally's! Clearly we didn't know, but now we do! The Mayfield family. That was awesome! I've been a fan of Wally Burger for quite some time, but my recent experience left me quite disheartened. After eagerly anticipating a Wally Burger, I was met with sheer disappointment. To start, the bacon cheeseburger I ordered was served with cold meat, to the extent that the cheese didn't even have a chance to melt. Even the bun felt chilly to the touch. Additionally, the side of fries, which came at a $5 price point, was barely half-full, and they too were served cold, accompanied by a thin and watery gravy. I can't help but express how disappointed I am with this visit to Wally Burger. It's disheartening to see a once-loved establishment fall short of expectations in such a significant way. read more

I made the mistake of ordering a chili dog, so maybe I'm to blame. It was the worst. Soggy stale bun, poor quality food. The floor was also super greasy and it appeared to have just been mopped- so it just felt dirty in there m. I didn't have super high expectations as it's pretty much a fast food joint, but I'd take Whataburger or just about anything else over it. I went to Wally's at 11:35 today after my concert at Anderson H.S. I got the classic with bacon and the regular fries. There was no line, the food was fresh, piping hot, and flavorful. The staff were very professional and friendly. I took the drive-through. Please see to it that someone praises the staff on duty at that time. This place is tucked away at the corner of Mesa and Anderson right behind the gas station. Kinda has a too cartooney interior for me but it is really geared for families. But decor aside the burgers are good. cooked really well and I love a shake that is so thick and chocaletey that you can pop a blood vessel trying to suck it all up. I remember when I was a litle kid, this was a Dairy Queen. I think they serve basically the same food, which works for me since I love Dairy Queen. I got a Wally Banger instead of a Blizzard and it was good. The burgers and fries were good and the price was too. I'm glad it's in the neighboorhood. read more

I even ran into a nice guy at the window for the pickup and we recognized each other from when he was a manager at Sonic. He's definitely at a much better place now with Buddha Burger! All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The building is a bit small so I would not recommend for large groups. I also was a little disappointed my burger did not get the iconic "SB" branding. The atmosphere would have been great but two female employees got into argument and they were loud and disrespectful to each other. I believe the other gentleman was the owner and he didn't say anything. So I really wanted it to be Greta but gotta be honest.
