I haven't been here since last year and the wait staff is so much better. Hannah was amazing and so friendly.

Used to like coming here but it's completely trash now. Staff are rude and ignore you while you wait for your drink. Blonde girl was dancing and looking at me and not once asking if I was taken care of. Finally got a drink and when I went to cash out still had to wait and was being ignored again when the bar was not busy. Going elsewhere. For the owner, I highly suggest you start finding better bartenders because clearly there is a pattern especially seeing everyone else's reviews. read more

Came here with a group of 10 people and sat waiting for a waitress for an hour that never showed up. When one never came we went up to order our own drinks and they refused to serve us because we seemed intoxicated. None of us had had any booze at all. Needless to say we'll never return after the horrible service and horrible bartenders. read more

I used to love this place but won't go back again. Very unorganized, dirty tables and waitstaff just walks by you and ignores you. Sat for over 10 minutes and no one ever came to the table but waitresses walked by and served surrounding tables. Took my money elsewhere. Awful way to run a restaurant! read more

The food was good, service ok. Ordered the 2 lobster rolls for 28.00. They were good and big, so big I could only eat one. When I asked for a to go container, the girl said "sorry, that was on special, you can't leave with that". I was waiting for her to crack a smile, but she didn't . I said "you're serious?!" She was.it wasn't until I asked for the owner that I finally got a container for my food. My husband asked, what do you do, feed this to the next customer after I pay for it?? Never go there! Went here for a friends celebration of life party. Before passing he paid Al the owner cash money for a open bar. Al Fluery never did this and pocketed the money. I have watched bartenders pour cheap booze into more expensive bottles. This place is a total rip off. Food sucks worse than the people. read more

So, I came here with my coworker to enjoy taco Tuesday, and this by far has been the most entertainment we've gotten to see in a rainy Tuesday on hampton beach. Someone got ran over by car, another guy fell and split his head open, and two others got in a fight. Then a couple high on meth complaining about a bill, then a transsexual person is prancing around the in the tightest red dress ever, a group of blondes who feel they are to hott for the ground they walk on. This place was good before but it has greatly improved over the past 3 years. They feature excellent entertainment and are open year round. Great place to watch the game on their 12+ flat screens, kick it on the patio, or post up and watch the bands. I'm part of the Beruit crowd that goes to Wally's on Monday Nights.... which is by far the biggest and best beer pong tournament around. They have a good following and have been able to successfully balance the rock/biker/sports fan/college kid/summer tourist crowds. I'd say it's a biker bar/ sports bar. If you're looking for a fun evening out while in Hampton Beach, NH, do not waste your time here. We went there for drinks, was served no problem. Having a good time, playing darts, playing music. 15-20 mins. later my sis-in-law's daughter and bf came in (was ID'd at door ok no problem) ordered a beer and a water. Was only given the water because...wait for it..he looked dehydrated. I know bartenders have the right not to serve, but looking at other reviews on FB this seems to be a pattern. Group of ppl were not served because they were told looked intoxicated, didn't have alcohol all day. A man was denied because he they didn't like the way he was walking, mind you he has arthritis and not due to him being intoxicated. There's more, my sister in law went up to get more drinks was denied because apparently she thought we were buying a drink for her daughter's "dehydrated" bf that was denied his beer, we had to show our faces at the bar of who would be drinking the drinks. After I had to then walk back to our table to then have my niece come up to the bar because the bartender now wants to see her ID, she was carded at door prior, also not drinking. After all this she decided not serve any of us. Apparently this seems like the type of bar for locals only and not for ppl visiting Hampton Beach. Idk who the manager/bartender (whatever she is) is, but she was very rude and immediately had an attitude with us. Maybe should consider a job where she doesn't deal with ppl, clearly not good at it. This place must strictly hire bartenders with bad vision. Tried this place for the 3 or 4th time in a row and never got any service whatsoever. Each time the bar was quite slow, and this time only 4 people sitting at the entire bar. Never was recognized, and I sat directly in the middle of the bar. One bartender did turn and clearly see me, but chose to turn around and continue to chat with a friend. The other 2 came out from the back and simple leaned against the cooler directly...directly...in front of me with their backs 3 feet from me and yet they simply ignored me. This now has happened too many times. I do not bash places on here as I am a manager in food and beverage. I reached in an email to the owner the last time and got no response. I will not suggest this to anyone who isn't a relative or a boyfriend of one of the ridiculously horrible bartenders. read more

This is one of the worst bars I have ever been to. The only thing less clean than the bar itself is the clientele. However, the one redeeming quality is the price, if you want to get absolutely trashed and make some really bad decisions, this is the place for you. read more

Cool bar layout, decent amount of TVs and a few pool tables, but the beer pong tourney started two hours late, and every single bartender could care less about the patrons. Every girl behind the bar was snarky, miserable and on their phones the entire time. read more

Despite the biker bar ambiance, Wally's is a great place on the beach to grab a bite and enjoy a drink or two. Timely, friendly service.

A lot of great improvements, great sound system, good bands, decent burgers and pizza. Their biggest problem is the bartenders. On the plus side, they are nice looking. Their qualities end there. totally un-attentive and unprofessional. They make you feel like you are bothering them. Even when the place is empty, they do not pay attention to the bar. Can I have another beer? okay. How about, Are you ready for another beer. Can I have a fork with meal? here. How about- Oh sorry, here you go. Is there anything else I can get you. In order to be a good bartender you need to at least like people. Does not feel like it here. When the place is packed I guess it doesn't matter. read more

Hello yelpers! I would give Wally's 3 1/2 stars if I could because it has made a lot of overall improvements/renovations...which I believe are still ongoing. However, I have only been late night, so I can't say anything about the day atmosphere. I have been on beruit night, a night where a band was playing (not really my thing), but I was supporting my ex's friends band (they're actually pretty solid). And I went when Dev was there...(Dancing in the Dark). So Al (the owner), is definitely stepping up his game and getting some bigger acts in the place, so kudos to you. I have met the owner, but only very briefly, he seemed pleasant. If you want to come to a bar to pick someone up....heed my warning... THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. As previous people have also noted. People are really just here to have a kick ass time. If you want to have a good time with friends, rock out to some bands, this is the place to go. It's not expensive, drinks are decent, the food is good (bar/pub fare), and the bartenders are very friendly. I am hoping with the new shows coming up and the renovations this place gets even better. It has a lot of potential, and hello?!?! Summer is literally right around the corner, so you know they'll be packed. But the main thing that still needs to be worked on is overall cleanliness. The bathroom that is a single (one person at a time, or in the case of the time I went, a two person lol) is absolutely effing disgusting. It has the most rank/putrid odor...I don't even want to get into it/think about it. And if you are standing near the bathroom the "odor" will, in fact, waft over.....soooo innocents beware! Now mind you, this could be do to a pipe or septic problem, maybe not the "bathroom" itself, but they should get on top of it. You are warned. The regular bathrooms in the back don't even have mirrors.....what a joke, get some mirrors in there people. Hence the 3 star rating, a bathroom being that nasty, throws the rating down. I love Wallys and the staff there. They have awesome bands that play there almost every night. The drinks are cheap and strong, and the food is awesome. With all the new renovations they did over the years, this place is one of my favorite local hangouts. read more

I have been to Wallys many times to see bands and never had an issue with service, but i was only getting beer those times. Hubby and i are on vacation in Hampton beach and went to Wallys twice. 1st time the waitress tried to charge us more than was actually owed. I can add, she couldn't! The 2nd time we were sitting outside and never got service. I ended up ordering our food inside. Needless to say neither tip was very good!! read more

Always been my favorite place to go. Very sad to see the service decline so dramatically over the past several weeks. On my last several visits I've observed and experienced empty drink glasses, or no drink, in front of customers waiting, and customers being ignored, as they wait, way way too long, for a menu or their check. One staff took my empty cup while not even looking at me and never offered me another. (I had only had one.) Waited ten minutes, just to get anyones attention, to ask if I could "please" get a drink. Bartenders are too busy engaging with their own "crew" of clientele to the severe detriment and disappointment of other customers. I've always been an "over tipper," but can't justify these days. There were no issues of being short staffed, as there were more than enough staff and plenty of empty bar stools and tables. So sad. These folks can make or break your night out; time to take a break. Staff needs to get back to friendly, prompt, and professional service. Hope to see staff reigned in and better trained as I have always loved it there and I truly hope to see a turnaround. read more

Wallys Pub is one of my favorite spots on the beach open till 1am every night all year long. Their daily food specials have great portions for the price. In the off season they have local bands every weekend and also have some great national bands come through there. It's a great place to be in the summer too. Friendly staff and prompt service! Just an all around great place year round. read more

My wife and I went to wallys with four friends. sat at the bar and got service right away and when any of us got down to about a quarter of our drink or beers, the bartenders were right there to get us another round. For the food we had burgers and all came out almost the perfect temp to what we ordered and all the topping's were fresh and spot on. Our other two friends had the steak bomb subs and were cooked nice, plenty of steak and vegetables and they used actual steak tips. Our only complaint were everybody's fries were under cooked, soft and greasy. Cheers to the cook who made the sandwiches, cheers to Vicky and Courtney our bartenders. So much to say about this place. Roxanne was great. The manager is dating the owner . She looked miserable all night, she walked around all night not smiling. I sat with no drink because the bartender was busy. The manager passed me 3 times and wouldn't even look up. When there was a problem with a check the bartender gave it to the bouncer, the bouncer brought it to the manager. The manger then shared with her friends drunk friends who laughed and then one walked over to couple and confronted them. "Don't be a junky and you can tip" was then yelled across the bar. great venue to see bands, even if the cover charge is sometimes pricey. but the drinks are great. staff for the most part is good, while some of them tend to have an attitude or come across like you are bothering them when you try to order a drink. (moe, ashley and kat are my personal faves. always great you with a genuine smile and prompt service.) I've only eaten the pizza here but it's very reasonable in the price, less than $3 for two huge slices and it's always served hot. and i have to agree, the bathrooms are usually a mess but it's a biker bar, it is what it is.
