GARBAGE!! Do not go here when The Goat is across the street. The staff is rude and the 10 cent pigeon wings aren't even worth it. Wally's is always a staple when going to Hampton! Great food and great service. I love when Alexa is working she's probably the best bartender I've ever had. She's attentive, funny and always recommends food i end up falling in love with. She suggested the nachos the first time i was there and i haven't found a better plate of nachos on this side of the Mississippi. read more

Not at all impressed. I put in a very simple food order, 20 minutes later... something different from what I ordered was served, bartender looked at it, realized it was wrong, said sorry and walked away. She and another girl did come back after a minute and said they would fix it but after waiting 20 minutes for my original order, I was not in the mood to send it back and see what I get next and how long it may take. Fries weren't salted but maybe they knew I have slightly high sodium, so they were just genuinely looking out for my well being. When the bill came - it was not itemized - who knows what potential clerical errors may have been on it, but it was close enough. Although any good restaurant would have nixed the messed up food order from the bill to make things right, which they definitely did not. As for the service it was lacklustre, 7 bartenders and 2 barbacks. Most of them playing around, while the other 2 work super hard - bussing tables, getting drinks, those two were great. If I go back I would avoid The other 7 who were mostly flirting with each other, talking to their friends, but ignoring the rest of the customers. Granted they were nice to look at in their tight little outfits, and I'm sure each one could suck start a lawn mower, their forte wasn't in the bartending field. I've been coming to this pub for many years as a young man and now, as a father, I bring the kiddos. ( my daughter loves their prime rib) My favorite thing about this establishment is that you can bring the kids during the day , Enjoy some Great food and at night, put down a cold beer and rock out to the amazing talent they put on that stage. I gave this place two stars for a few reasons.. when we got our three orders of chicken wings none of them were warm, a few even seemed on the colder side. The wings seemed on the dryer side but the blue cheese is good. Some specifics are that the garlic parm wings have almost no sauce and Parmesan cheese on top. My brother said that the honey buffalo were more just on the honey side and he has a really high opinion goldwing flavor. Their deals have a catch which is expected since they need to make money but don't think you'll walk in on Wednesday and just be able to get 10 cent wings. The service is a little slow if you sit at the tables away from the bar. On a better note normally at bars I (being under 21) feel uncomfortable going but did not feel this way here. They have plenty of seating away from the bar and you would be able to bring a large group. During the daytime I would feel comfortable bringing my family here. This place appears to be very clean and it's a nice looking establishment. read more

The bar/club itself looks decent but I've never seen a place where the employees all seem so clueless. A friend and I wanted to see Kix but between the 3 phone calls we made a couple days before, we couldn't get a definitive answer as to whether there was an opening band and what time sets would be. It's not like they don't have music regularly. Okay, we go up anyway and at 6PM for 7PM doors we ask the two door guys who don't know about bands and set times. One tries to find info but my friend sees someone with a Kix pass and finds out that they go on at 10:30 and I ask the sound guy what time the first band goes on and he said 9 so at least we had some info. The door guy did tell us there was one opening band but he didn't know times and you still couldn't buy a ticket so we decided to cut our losses, get food and head back to Boston. Oh well. read more

NO FUN ZONE, not sure whats in the water here but entire staff is rude, was sitting at the bar when I noticed a large group of 7 or 8 people walk in. One of the men in this group was trying to order a beer at the bar and was refused service yet all of his friends were served a drink as well. They claimed he was drunk but honestly did not look drunk. I over heard how the staff treated him and saw they kicked him out. It was very unnecessary and really irritated me to see that. The bartenders are very rude there, lots of sass almost like they havent had sex in a while or something. Not really the smartest crew working at the bar, kicking out a party of 7 or 8 which could have been potentially great business. Im sure that large party isnt going to want to come back and also my friend and I are not coming back either, also noticed a few other parties leaving around the time of this happening. I've frequented Wally's many times but I think Wally's needs to get out of Winter mode. The poor service stuck out last Sunday. I would have had better service if there was a vending machine behind the bar. I'm hopeful that this was a rare case. I will do lunch at Wally's on Friday's and had Cami as a server. She was awesome. The food is pretty good, the pizza was hot last Sunday and I'm still nursing the burn in my upper pallet. On to the not so good- folks, if you're going to advertise no cover charge on your website then I expect to NOT be charged a cover charge. I pointed this out to the doorman, who shared with someone I'll assume was a manager. I'd already paid but was told by the doorman that next time was one them. Assuming there will be a next time. I am a frequent flyer here at Wally's, I generally go for the Taco Tuesday and the Wings on Wednesday. As somebody who goes twice a week, and is a manager at a motel in Hampton, I send most of my summer guests down to Wally's. Usually the service is decent, I don't expect a whole lot because well its Hampton Beach. Butttt..... My normal check after 8 tacos and 2 beers its always been right around $17.00 give or take some change. I go on 1/9/18 and for 2 beers, 1 diet coke, a refill of that diet coke that I waited 20 minutes to get, and 8 tacos, it came to $26 dollars. See the receipt, not only am I now getting charged $4.00 for a soda, I was charged another $4.00 for a refill of my diet coke. I never get charged for sour cream, (not that I eat it). In this case I wasn't even asked if I wanted it, but it was brought to me and my friend anyways and we were charged $1.00 for it. I don't even eat sour cream. The service was terrible. Like I said I send a ton of business to Wally's especially during the summer, It just seems weird that they NOW this week changed the price of sodas, as well as charge for refills, and not ask if we wanted something, but brought it anyways and charged us anyways. I go here twice a week, I don't generally leave reviews but this is a bit off. I took a bit of offence to this due to being a pretty loyal customer. Thank you Kerry for the upstanding and excellent service lol I know she is a Wally's veteran bartender, I guess I just expected that from her. Other then this experience, I have had good experiences here, because I do not go in thinking its 5 star, or the best up to the minute service, if that is what you are expecting don't go there, if you want a fun time, some decent service, and good bar food then come here. We went to the third eye Blind concert, we were at another bar (McGirks) at closing they told us we could get pizza at christy's & get a drink at Wally's . We got a slice. At Christys & tried to bring it over to have a last drink at Wally's . The bouncer & some girl told us we couldn't bring outside food in. Our 2 friends were at the bar & we wanted to join them for a drink. The bouncer told my fiancé that we couldn't bring outside food in. I said oh do you serve food? The hostess said yes we are a restaurant. I said are you serving now? We didn't know. Miss we are just trying to have a drink with our friends and a slice. My fiancé had immediately left. I was trying to understand. . The hostess then targeted my fiancé who Was on the street eating a slice and said "you can't eat pizza on our property " you need to leave. I said miss she isn't on your property she is on the sidewalk. Please just let us have a drink with our friends we just want to have a drink snd a slice we didn't know u served food can you just relax? Then the bouncer put his hands on me and tried to Push me out the door & said all right you need to go. I said " are you serious? I'm a 45 year old man. How old are you? Why are you putting your hands on me? . They kept pushing me out the door &'said see the name? It's wally's that means we don't give a fuck about customers. I said are you are familiar with yelp & TripAdvisor all these these things? I said I will tell people how you are treating us. They said it doesn't matter. You won't remember our names. Which is true. I am terrible with names and dates . This was at 12:30 am Friday night / Saturday morning. On October 6/7 . Like I said . I never gave resistance even after the bouncer decided to assault me & push me out the door repeatedly. I didn't lift a finger. I was just really taken aback by the rude & juvenile behavior by the staff. We left without any incident but anyone that doesn't want to drink or eat at a place run by a bunch of bully children should never go here. They think they will not be held accountable because i can't remember their names. This is more for the owners and other tourists. We just wanted a peaceful drink not physical assault before we even set foot in the establishment over a slice of pizza from next door. Again we were not at all the aggressors here. Even after my fiancé complied with their request the hostess kept verbally abusing her I did nothing to retaliate other than ask questions & was physically assaulted. Last night at Wally's was a bust! Drive 45 minutes so 7 of us (including 3 80+ year olds) could have the twin lobster special. Got there at 5:45pm and sat down. No waitress ever came to the table. When we finally got up to ask for a waitress, we were told that they were shutting down the kitchen cause of a band playing. Lobster signs still outside, no notifications on the website, not even a person coming to our table to tell us. Pretty lame way to treat customers. read more

The new owner, Al , has defiantly changed the place for the better. He seemed very nice but had a weird slicked back hair cut. (stuck in the 80's if u ask me) DJ Provo plays a lot of trendy good music and switches it up to appeal to the different crowds. However he seemed like a pervert the way he hit on anything that walked near his dj booth. A new addition makes for a bigger stage and dance floor with cleaner bathrooms. However the tile job in the bathroom is questionable. The food is good for bar room standards with good deals. The service is excellent with an array of gorgeous chicks to choose from. My favorite is Lauralee, owe owe. If u are in the hampton area I definitely suggest Wally's for a good time. Especially on Monday night for beruit. read more

I came here last year for sebastian bach concert. Place is a fire hazard. Male bathroom is between the stage and the merchandise table so when main show starts everyone stands right there to see it closer and you have to push people around to get to the bathroom. Came here last week 7pm they advertise a 10 cent wing 2 blocks down from it, where i imagine the owner lives. (he probably also owns the side road where he parks his jet skis and 4 cars since he double parks, something ive never seen at hampton beach). Went in to try and get an order of wings to go, bartender ignored me at the bar right at the left, she came out then back, i almost blocked her way so she would have to acknowledge me there. She didnt. i tried... crossed the street to an empty cute place taht looks like it needed more costumers overpaid for "large wings", 8 little wings for 10 dollars. Wonder if they were better at wallys but i guess ill never know. This place wont serve you, its always crowded and the waitresses... well they really suck. My husband and I stopped in for wing night and it was awesome! I don't remember the servers name but she was so sweet. She was very attentive and quick with replenishing our wings. My husband can seriously put down some wings! The atmosphere was great too, there was a guy singing who was really good.The one thing I would say is that there was a lottt of sauce on the wings, and they wouldn't let me take them home.
