I give them 0 stars and that's still generous. Don't EVER EVER EVER get tires from Walmart. I bought 4 new tires from Walmart and paid them to install. My tire sensor light was not on before they touched my car, but it was from their install job and never went off. I noticed it as I drove home and I drove right back to the store to tell them. They said oh it will go off after you drive about 50 miles. I asked what happens if it doesn't go off. She said bring it back. The next day was my birthday and I drove out of town to celebrate with my family. One of my tires was completely 100% flat by the next day. The day after I just bought brand new tires and they installed them!! That's how good a job they do! My brother-in-law noticed the valve was leaking. And he noticed they didn't seal the tires, any of them. He put air in it so I could get to the nearest Walmart. I had to leave my vacation a day early to go get it fixed when I was supposed to spend the day with my family. Since I didn't also buy their road hazard warranty, they CHARGED ME TO FIX IT! These are literally brand new tires that I paid them for and to install them two days before. The road hazard warranty is if something happens on the road, not to cover their own work I already paid them to do! They charged me for a flat tire fee and found the bead was leaking. They admitted it was an installation issue. Worse even, my tire pressure light was STILL ON! They didn't even fix the issue and it's now been serviced by Walmart TWICE! I was supposed to feel safe and secure having bought all new tires but instead I felt UNSAFE and worried if I would make it back home safely from out of state. On my way home, I took photos of all the mileage points showing my tire pressure light was still on. Four hundred miles later, still on! On my drive home, I called the Walmart where I had them installed and they apologized for the inconvenience and told me to bring it back in but they were very busy that day and asked if I could bring it in the next day or so, which I did. I now had to take more time off from work to bring it back to them a third time to the original Walmart who installed them and they again wanted to charge me to fix it! The same woman who told me to come back if my tire light doesn't go off. She said you should have come back right away, I said I did!! She got permission to refund me the charge I was charged at the other Walmart for their fix because it was an installation issue, but they they wanted to charge me again to look at and fix the tire light issue, which they caused! My tire sensor light was not an issue before they touched it. Why would they charge me to look at and fix an issue they caused? So now my car was serviced twice in three days by Walmart who causes issues with my tires that weren't a problem before they touched it and rather than backing up their own work, they refused to take responsibility for it and want to charge you to fix their mess up. I mean, this is absolutely unbelievable!! I refused to pay them another cent or have them touch my car any further. After two times sending me off with it not being in good order, what makes me think they will actually fix it this time? My tire light is STILL on and I now have to take it to another garage to have it fixed. They never fixed the valve. They admitted they didn't seal the tires and said they don't do that and that It's no longer standard to do that. Three times they now sent me on my way with faulty tires that aren't safe and a tire sensor light that isn't fixed. They kept saying "we don't do that. We don't do that. We don't do that." They don't check your valves or seal or rim or clean the bead. She said all they do is take the tires off and put them together and take the new ones and put them on and spin balance them and that's it. You have to buy their additional warranty (road hazard) if you want them to fix anything they cause. The only way they would give me back my refund for the first fix was to sign my receipt agreeing they would charge me $15 for another flat tire fee if I have them fix the issue they caused. They do the most shoddy job, they have a long list of things they say they don't do as part of the new tires and install job including things they are supposed to do (that any garage does), and will not take responsibility for it. It will only cost you more to fix their crappy work, and cost you time and more time off from work only to not have it get fixed either. I am now driving on tires I don't feel safe on and my tire sensor light won't go off. Is this the kind of work they stand behind? read more
