Mistakes happen. Luckily, this Jiffy Lube has great people. It was communicated to me what happened to the car and what they would do to fix it. They stayed true to their word. They resolved the issue at their own expense and with a sense of urgency. I got my car after a few hours, with a detailed explanation of what they fixed and the parts they replaced. In light of the very bad situation, they showed incredible professionalism and great customer service. My only regret is that I don't remember the name of the gentleman who was taking care of me and talking to the Jiffy Lube regional manager. DONT GO FOR AN UBER CHECK ! brought my 2010 car in for an Uber inspection and with it in perfect running order was denied by the ridiculous manager there for some PAINT damage ( scrapes ) ! Don't recommend this place. We came here to do a simple oil change. It seems this place just hires anyone that needs work and not people that are in the trade. After brining my vehicle here for an oil change, I was observing the worker do everything and he almost swapped the oil filters and put in a completely different one that doesn't go to my car. Then he almost put the wrong oil. Then he went to another worker and asked what oil to use for the vehicle. Immediately I had to step in and stop the work before any damages were caused. We ended up going to Valvoline in Salinas and they were terrific. read more

I really like the drive up, no appointment service. Oil change for the Toyota Tacoma was $59, but they always have internet coupons. Found one for $25 off, which worked. So, $35 for an oil/ filter change with a vacuum, tire air check, windows washed and other areas checked is pretty darn good. I do this at least, once a year, even though the mileage was less than 3k. As far as vehicle maintenance goes, I like to go places where I feel like I don't try to upsell me on things I don't need. As a woman going in alone I have to be careful. I have never felt like this Jiffy Lube location has tried to take it vantage of me. They always do quick service and take care of my car promptly. I don't need an appointment and I get in and out and can get on with my day. They do complementary vacuum and clean the inside of my window drivers window. A fast clean place to get a quick oil change. PROs: I only had to wait about 15 minutes for an oil change to my car. They provided a discount without asking for it. They cleaned all my interior and exterior windows and vacuumed the car very well. The waiting room was very clean and provided free Wi-Fi, cable television, and fresh hot coffee. The staff was very polite, knowledgeable, and fast. CONs: I have none! If you're looking for somewhere around Seaside to get a quick oil change with a decent waiting accommodation, this is a good choice. Except when I went home I noticed I was charged an additional $283... after speaking to the manager I was told he didn't see the additional charge, would look into it further and call me back... No call back. Seems they figured it out because the money was put back a few days later, but coincidentally my bank account has $400 of fraudulent charges now. For 5 minutes work. I did get a line of BS about the manufacturer requiring a special oil only and this car needed an extra quart of $2. Oil for $8. What happened to the special $25.oil change that I remember Jiffy Lube advertising? I've checked several local garages that also provide an oil change service finding none that charged over $54. This makes me very suspicious of their business and sales practices, Well this clip joint has seen the last of me. This company and the service it provides our community is so professional that it can be easily taken for granted. The people have a great attitude and are so helpful they need to be acknowledged. I give a special thanks to Steve Crews, the store manager, I give him credit for the great morale of the crew. He is always very professional and knowledgeable. I had read some of the reviews here on Yelp, and that would normally have been enough to keep me away from here and go somewhere else. But I was very close by, so I decided to take a chance. I went in on "high alert" for attempts to upsell me. I tried to head off any problems by telling the guy who greeted me that all I wanted was an oil change with regular oil. But alas, apparently that message wasn't communicated to the salesperson. I was called to an alcove at the rear of the waiting area and the sales presentation began. First, it was suggested that I buy synthetic oil. I think I had to say "no" twice to that. Then it was suggested that I buy "high mileage" oil and again I said no, I just want plain old oil! Then I was informed that my car's manufacturer recommended various other maintenance procedures. Fortunately, I keep track of my car's maintenance and I knew that absolutely none of the recommended procedures were necessary or due. However, I did accept their suggestion to change my windshield wiper blades because that was one thing that I did need. Trying to end on a positive note, I'll add that I didn't have to wait long for them to finish the job, and the waiting area is nice. read more

We took the car in for a simple oil change on Saturday 2/1 and when we started the car the check engine light was on. After getting the run around by the supervisor on duty we were referred to another manager who wasn't present at this location with the assurance that the situation would be rectified on Tuesday.
