I brought them what turned out to be a bit of a "problem child" vehicle--a rare, numbered Cadillac performance car that I had purchased from a dealership in Jacksonville. Unfortunately, it appears the vehicle had prior damage that never showed up on Carfax, which made diagnosing the issues even more challenging. From the very beginning, the entire team at Evans Automotive has gone above and beyond. Multiple technicians have taken the time to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, the owner himself has been personally involved, and they've even done ride-alongs to better understand the issues firsthand. On top of that, they've graciously dropped me off at home so they could spend additional time digging deeper into the car. That level of care and commitment is rare--especially when dealing with a high-performance vehicle that requires extra attention and expertise. What stands out most is not just their technical ability, but the genuine pride they take in their work. It's clear this isn't just a job to them--they truly care about doing things the right way and taking care of their customers. That kind of passion and integrity is hard to come by these days, and it shows in every interaction. I can't say enough about the experience I've had with this team. Evans Automotive operates with a level of attention, transparency, and dedication that is incredibly refreshing. Although they didn't have run flat tires in stock (they said they could have one shipped over in the afternoon if I wanted to wait) they did have others. As I had a long road ahead of my I decided to go with what they had in stock. They got me in and I was back on the road by 9AM! The team was very professional and courteous and I wish their shop was near my home.

I had an incredible experience with Melvin's. I was told By Advance Auto that my alternator was…read morebad on my 2013 Toyota Sienna. After calling around to a few places, I decided on Melvin's. First, they honored the lifetime warranty that Napa and other auto parts places gave the alternator. Secondly, they gave a year longer warranty on labor than the local Toyota dealerships. Lastly, they have the best price. Replacing the alternator is nearly an $800 job. Because of the high expense, Adam took it upon himself to test it before simply replacing it. It turns out, it wasn't bad after all. My van has a lot of specialized driving equipment that allows me to drive, even though I am a quadriplegic paralyzed from my chest down. When Adam and his team were unsure how to troubleshoot some of the specialized equipment, he did not hesitate to call the handicap equipment company that built my van. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem and even helped me contact a local company specializing in the equipment installed in my van. Furthermore, they did not charge me for all their help! So instead of costing nearly $800 to replace an alternator that was not bad, I was able to replace a $26 backup battery that tied into my Specialty Equipment. I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Melvin's! Adam and the others treated us with respect, honesty, and like family. I've been coming to this Grease Monkey location on and off for quite a while and have never had an…read moreexperience like I did today. I came in around 2 PM on a Wednesday and was the only customer. From the moment I arrived, Austin was rude and seemed annoyed that I was even there. Normally, I'm greeted at my car window and asked what type of oil change I need. Instead, Austin stuck his head out of the door and yelled from a distance asking what I needed. I told him I needed a full synthetic oil change. I found it unprofessional to not approach the vehicle and to communicate by yelling across the parking lot, something I've never experienced here before. He told me to go to bay 1. When I began pulling in, I hesitated because staff usually guide cars over the opening in the floor. After waiting briefly and seeing no guidance, I slowly proceeded into the bay. Austin then rudely snapped, "I told you to go to bay 1, not inside it." I apologized, but I was honestly shocked by how he spoke to me. Perhaps if he had approached my car when I arrived, I could have heard his directions more clearly. At that point, I seriously considered leaving and taking my business to one of the many other oil change places nearby. I decided to give it another chance, assuming maybe we had just started off on the wrong foot and the holiday season can be stressful for everyone. Unfortunately, his tone continued to be abrasive. He asked me several questions one being whether I'd been there before (I know they keep records of this), and why I didn't have the sticker on my window, all in a way that felt accusatory and dismissive. Clayton, who appeared to be management, took over the rest of my service and was professional and kind. He recommended some additional maintenance that my car likely needs, and under normal circumstances I would have agreed. The total would have been approximately $400-$500. However, Austin's behavior and tone left such a bad impression that I declined any additional services during this visit. I would like to continue supporting this business, as I've had positive experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, Austin's attitude made this visit extremely unpleasant and will likely prevent me from returning. Customer service matters, especially when customers have plenty of other options close by.
