At Walmart I always found everything I need for my daily life and I can get a good McDonald's burger.

If it were possible to leave less than one star, I would. I used to travel nationwide and can honestly say I've been to Walmart in 40 of our 50 states. The only one worse than this one is Laramie, WY. We go once a week for groceries, as it's cheaper than where we live. The employees are an abominstion: rude, unhelpful, sloppy. They will literally walk in front of you, cut you off with there cart of inventory, and run the floor waxer during peak hours. They close at ten, so why isn't cleaning and stocking being done after closing? Filthy dirty store. Bathrooms? Hold it girls! Don't go in those bathrooms! But my favorite? The Hispanic lady with the long braids manning the door. She has gone through my belongings on two separate occasions, to check that I scanned everything. And my first encounter with her, when she accused me of not ringing up my second pineapple. Seriously? Like I'm gonna steal a pineapple? Grocery Nazi. I got the manager involved. read more

If I can give it zero stars I would! This place is horrible!! The parking lot was tight so you need to be careful making your turns. Inside it doesn't get any better. It seemed really unorganized and staff seemed to be spending more time gossiping then doing their jobs. While shopping I overheard several different conversations complaining about each other or schedules. Yeah, not what I want to hear as a shopper. The lines to check out were really really long. Watching the cashiers who were on duty were really really slow?? Why would you put slow cashiers when it's busy?? Then on top of it they are trying to sell their credit cards to everyone in line?? I had to wait while they explained the process to someone who didn't understand how credit cards are approved!! Wtf!! And what made it worse was the lady behind me who was holding a kid who obviously shit himself! That smell!! I left all my items and walked out. When I need something from Walmart I know I can find it but the customer service is so bad. The workers give me so much attitude and they never know where things are at when you ask them for something or if they know where it is at they don't even look at you. Worst customer service I've ever seen at a Walmart. Lines are always tragically long with few checkout open. Cashiers are, in general, not very nice and struggle using the English language. But their discontent is understandable considering they deal with angry customer who wait in line for 30 minutes. Twice I've been next in line to checkout when the cashier decides to close her lane, forcing me to get in the back of another 20 minute line. Their stocks seem to always be low. Many shelves are mostly empty. Nothing is mot frustrating when you find out what to came to Walmart for is out of stock. I usually like shopping at Walmart and will continue to do so, but will avoid this one at all costs. read more

The worst "customer service" ever: Can have good prices on some items. However, also has some of the worst customer service of any store I have seen--just shameful. Do not even try calling the store to see if an item is in stock or to check the price--I have waited over 45 minutes, over 5 phone calls and repeated hang-ups, to get no help whatsoever. Unfortunately, the Wal-Mart website does not provide store pricing information. And the ability of staff at the store to understand and communicate in English can be challenging, to say the least. Just shameful. Update: To be fair, I finally got help just now, with a 6th (or 7th--I forget) phone call. The staff does try, and I appreciate that. But seemingly, Wal-Mart is not set up to facilitate and provide customer service (despite its infamous door greeters). Awesome customer service. Bought a mountain bike two months ago, and the gear unbelievably broke into two pieces on the way to work. Took it back to walmart, and then the customer service exchanged a new one for me with no cost and no question at all. Absolutely a 5-star customer service! read more

This place is HORRIBLE. I would rather pay more somewhere than give this store my business. I tried to use a $ 10.00 bonus back check I got for having a Discover Walmart card. First they said I could not use it cuz it was over 30 days I showed them the date on the check that says redeem by 10/14/2012. fair enough right wrong they wanted my social security number & when that didn't go through I waited for 20 min when the clerk finally asked the MGR for an override. Why wasn't this done 20 min ago. I have NEVER gone there with coupons that was not a major issue. Even the manager was complaining about their policy or lack there of. I called the assistant MGR when I got home & of course she could care less we are talking big Corp here. Okay okay its true: there isn't much of a management or customer service presence to say the least. But what do you expect from Walmart? Look, if the customer service was better, the store more organized, better stocked and less chaotic and crowded, then the prices would be significantly higher! Simple. Also they have certain products that Target, CVS and Walgreen's don't even carry. Came here for electronic product and it took me like more than 30 mins just to find someone to help me. CAUTION! Attempted to use my CC several times at 2 different cashiers. Unfortunately, I had to use my bank card. The teeny boppers may be collecting bank card information. I have used the same CC on 4 separate occasions with no difficulty. Sale prices on some items are lees expensive at Safeway this week. read more

A very good store for every need. I like to buy there garden supply, hair and hygiene products, they used to have a great craft and fabric department, but few years ago they moved it and choice became more narrow. Food department has organic food and food supplements. This store is pretty clean and I often get help from walmart employees. read more

For such a small purchase, I was surprised at the inflexibility of check-out staff and management. I have a new temporary license w/o the photo since my license was just renewed and it takes several weeks for the real thing with the photo to come from Sacramento. The current photo i.d. is required at Walmart despite ample proof I had of my identity. (I even offered to take a selfie!) There was complete inflexibility with no offer to find an alternate solution for a small purchase. The manager, Jonathan Luu, explained that is the policy--and I add, unalterable, even where logic should prevail with lots of evidence of identity! This event was a waste of everyone's valuable time, including those waiting in line. Maybe it's time for thumb-print checkouts, although you can be sure those won't be fool-proof either! read more

The staff is very unprofessional and very unaware of what is happening in their store. Very rude to it's customers and very, very, very disorganized as well. They most definitely have the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. The manager is also very improper and unprofessional while talking to customers and unwilling to answer questions. 2 orders from Walmart.com in 2 weeks and both orders were incorrect. First order shipped a totally wrong item and the second order never shipped at all. Amazon and Ebay have nothing to worry about. Please do not order your Christmas gifts from Walmart.com unless you want to end up with crying and disappointed children on Christmas morning. I came to this vision center to get contact lenses. I got in pretty quick, however once in my appointment, the eye doctor beraded me about not having glasses. I normally wear contact eye lenses all the time, however I was planning on getting glasses soon. He was very rude and disrespectful about me not having any, and started bringing in that I was nurse, so that means I should have known better. He went on throughout the entire exam about how he couldn't believe I didn't have glasses, to the point that he was trying to translate that I was basically an idiot because of this. First of all, its none of his business. And second of all, he could have rspectfully suggested it. The eye doctor at this location is arrogant, disrespectful, and attempts to be intimidating. I went to this store couple of times and never really liked it. First of all the parking lot is always congested and I see lot of crap and garbage on the parking lot, it very untidy. Secondly I never found quality stuff here, it represents a Flea Market under iron roof and aisle. I saw them selling vegetables and fruits which are spoiled. I always felt the Walmart at Milpitas is lot better compared to this and would travel extra miles to their compared to this stupid store. All thumbs down! read more

Hey everyone, My daughter and I went to this store for Black Friday sale that started at 8pm on Turkey day. I just wanted to get her a Lego set that was on sale and save a few bucks in the process like most of us on Black Friday. So we are being shoved back and forth so I pick her up, drop all the crap we thought we were going to buy and started to find the exit but we didn't really have any luck. We were trapped in an aisle. I try to get by this blockade of stuff so we can get to the exit and we were told by a female manager with a broken leg that we couldn't go buy there. I said that's fine but we are no longer buying anything so we are not trying to cut in line. She said no again and of course I thought what bullshit, I just want my daughter and I to get out without getting trampled on. It was messy, packed, people were shoving and cursing. It was stupid of me to take my daughter shopping on Black Friday but if I am not buying anything from your store move out of my way so I can leave and you can make room for 2 more people to purchase from you. Also don't block 50% of the aisles and try to crowd 2-3x the amount of people into the store than what the fire code allows. It's worth the extra 5% you pay at Target just to be treated with some respect even if it's fake. Maybe I am over reacting and I asked to be treated this way by going to a store on Black Friday but last year it was different and more organized at Target and this Walmart, it was completely different and way less security so maybe that is why they felt they had to be more aggressive but I will be doing my best to not go back here. Working no good schedule, no promise to be hired after 90 days, they just hire and hire more people, not hiring and the hours you work are like this , . one day 4 hours the next maybe 5 plus lunch right. so that is 4.5 hours then 6 and if you lucky after working 5 days in every week and getting 22 or 32 hours, with split days off. really messed up and not good for Moral, employees are burnt out and tired. This is the Walmart that is furthest north on the peninsula. As such, it can get incredibly busy in the evenings with lines stretching into the clothing area. If you want to get out quick, you can check out in the garden center where things are usually calmer. Protip: the garden center door closes at 8 pm. read more

Yes, Walmart has a bad rap for attracting the most unusual people on the planet, for below par customer service, for low quality goods and clothing - and generally not giving customers a great shopping experience. I've been to many in my day because the prices are just too good to pass up. This particular Walmart is on the edge of Mountain View and Palo Alto and is actually a pretty decent Walmart. It's clean, fairly well organized, and the employees are OK (meaning they have good intentions most of the time LOL). This is located fairly close to my office and it's nice to have one close by for those lunchtime trips to pick up household items like toilet paper. Parking can be pretty bad because it's also located in a major plaza with lots of other shops and restaurants. Yes, it can get crowded. Yes, the lines can get long sometimes. Yes, it's NOT TARGET. As long as you know what you're getting yourself into when you walk into Walmart, you should be prepared for what's coming. Don't expect a "Nordstrom type" shopping experience and you'll walk out of this Walmart alive and without being overly irritated. read more

I had to wait for the employee at terminal #099-745- on 02/09/12, 15:33:54PM. I had already put my items on the check out stand and going to the next place kept getting customers and it would have taken too long. There is a group of employees working here who make checking out a chore. Approximately, 15% of the items on the shelf are not priced on the shelf. Some items listed on the Walmart website as being in the store are not available. Why is there someone at the out door hustling donations, when posted on the window is "no solicitation?" There are not enough price check meters available. read more

This Walmart is a little far from where I live but I like going every once and a while because of the variety and the low prices. I don't like that it is always always over packed, the lines are very long and the store isn't the cleanest. The employees aren't very nice or informative either. Terrible, terrible, service. I tried calling in to see if I could get an old video game for a birthday gift. I was told i was going to be transferred to electronics but it was just one giant loop. I was left on a line that went dead, THREE TIMES. When it wasn't that, I was simply transferred to another call agent who would redirect me to the wrong department again. When i finally got on the phone with an electronics associate and I asked her if they had this game in stock, left for dead 2 (an old game, most likely not in high demand) she didn't even bother to hear my out. I simply wanted to know if there were any in stock and she says "i don't know but I'm stuck back here. okay? bye!!!" and hung up. Has anyone other than me wondered where this mythical Wal-Mart they feature in commercials is actually located? You know the place, where everyone is so happy and thrilled to be there saving money, the place where you're greeted by cheery employees in a bright, clean, well-organized space. Well, I can tell you it isn't in Mountain View! Our Wal-Mart is a mess. It looks like a cross between Costco and my garage. Things are piled everywhere and I can't find a damned thing! The place is also staffed by employees that are either angry or sleep walking. They too don't know where anything is! Where is the Wal-Mart of the commercials where the employees are so psyched to be employed and working their way up the ranks to management? It must be the stuff of dreams and fantasy. Or maybe it is simply a figment of someones imagination because I have yet to find it. Perhaps it is simply some science experiment that traps us all in proverbial retail hell looking for cheese.
