First time here and probably my last. I don't like judging a restaurant by one visit, hence why I say probably will return and give them a 2nd chance although not too soon.I was expecting much more and better food, but was disappointed with what we had. It was one note ,not much flavor and barely ok. My daughter's plate came with a hair, although it was quickly replaced, the experience wasn't the same. She didn't enjoy it as the potatoes were undercooked and the beans tasteless. My dish was ok, their machaca was barely noticed in my machaca & eggs, the beans were good, but i asked for toast and receive one piece of bread! The coffee was ok, but when I asked for the complementary pan dulce, they were out of it. I wanted to like this place as the reviews were positive,but I guess it was a negative experience for us. I ordered the House Special Chicharron & Eggs which comes with refried beans and foil wrapped warm soft corn tortillas. My meal was brought to me muy rapido and the reason was the scrambled eggs were warm and the beans were cold. The Chicharron was covered and soaked with my requested red sauce, some were crunchy on the outside and some were very soggy. The skins had a good porky taste. The sauce was not very spicy with little pepper flavor. The tortillas had a nice slightly sweet corn flavor. This is the first time I tried this dish and I won't repeat for this. The staff is extremely friendly, and you have the option to sit inside or outside. If I could give 10 stars, I honestly would. This place feels like an undiscovered gem. The server was incredibly sweet, everything was very clean, and the prices were totally reasonable. I ordered a decaf latte with almond milk because I'm pregnant and was told that there were no lattes even though it was listed on the menu. I'm fairly certain I still got a caffeinated coffee with regular milk. I ordered the chipotle chilaquiles which were pretty good while my friend got the prosciutto and avocado toast. My friend and I stopped by for brunch today and it was fine. There isn't great signage to indicate which door you're supposed to enter through, but it's the one facing the parking lot. Some people (including myself) stood outside of the door facing the street for a few minutes waiting to be greeted by someone, but the staff members just walked by and smiled at us until we figured out we were probably supposed to go through the other door. We ended up sitting outside, but needed to move tables because the first table was so wobbly. We moved to another table near the grass, and we noticed that that grass had a lot of trash on it (straw wrappers, plastic wrap etc). The wait was really, really long for our food. We had two breakfast burritos and two sides of hash browns, and there was a point where we were going to get up and ask if they had forgotten about us because it really was taking a while and nobody had come by to let us know about a delay. I also had an iced matcha latte and it was fine. We ordered the hash browns extra crispy, but they weren't very crispy at all. They were still good, and the burritos were also good. The food isn't life-changing, but it gets the job done. There also seemed to be some kind of issue where we had two servers and they didn't seem to be in communication with each other. One took my drink order and then walked away, and then another came and asked if I wanted anything to drink. We ordered with one, and then the other came back to see if we were ready to order (although we no longer had menus in front of us). Then we paid with one through the handheld device, but the other one brought us a paper bill. We let him know we had already paid with the other person.
