Okay, so I came by today to replace my broke down bike I use to commute to work and home, since my car broke down two weeks ago. As I was walking out I decided to wait for my mom to be done checking out something for my nephew, the two ladies at the exit decided to approach me and ask me questions about what I needed a bike for, I told them how I commute from anaheim to orange for work,...one lady cut me off and spoke to me in a baby voice "oh how cute, now that you have a job you can buy yourself a little troquieta"....I ignored it and continued waiting for my mom. Finally my mom came over and as I'm walking out, the ladies ask for my receipt for the bike, I obliged and gave them the receipt. They looked at it and said " oh where did you buy this bike again" as a older Caucasian man walked by with 4 fishing poles and not one single eye was batted or asked for a receipt. I do not expect much from a Wal-Mart. But I do expect the associates to be helpful and to have a safe shopping experience. Today I received neither. I was harassed by vagrants in the store. I yelled for security as I was being assaulted. I saw an associate there just staring at me, and instead of helping me or getting someone to help, she yelled from across the aisle, "I'm not security." And she looked away. I had to literally push this guy into a rack of tools in order to get him to stop poking/pushing me and begging for money (when I had no cash on me). This store is unsafe, and unfriendly. Even the phones don't work. I called them 3 times, and all 3 times they answered, and promptly hung up before a word was said. I've been to dozens of wal-marts. He ended up getting his degree and now has a way better job/ career. But he told me if i ever buy towels please wash them before using. Even when doing a program to bring in customers like the Recycling baby car seat promotion. I bring in my two car seats. One is a baby car seat. The other is a convertible (NOT booster..... for those who have babies.. you'll totally understand). This young guy who has no children says, "Oh sorry.. we don't take boosters. It says here.. Booster". *sigh.. it doesn't say booster. He's just assuming booster and then projecting that it's a booster. I try to flag an older supervisor to kindly explain, "Oh ma'am... this is a convertible car seat. I don't think this is a booster." Alas, this older customer support is about 50 and says, "Oh no.. NO BOOSTERS. Shoot... we took in boosters". I look over.. Nope those aren't boosters.. those are convertibles too. I guess none of these employees know the difference in car seats. *sigh. I was in a hurry and what I assumed would take 10 min, really took 25 min and I had no time to argue. I just was nice and said, "That's fine". Neither employee did due diligence of googling the car seat I had "Alpha Omega Elite" which was clearly at the bottom of the seat in LARGE writing. Convertible seat that 5lb babies can use. I go to this Walmart very often, sometimes 2-3x a week and I felt the need to give a honest, thoughtful review. I find so many customers yelling and degrading the employees for things they have no control over. Especially the "check the receipt" aspect while your leaving. And I agree, it's somewhat silly and unnecessary but it doesn't have anything to do with the people checking receipts. They are simply doing their job like the rest of us do, and I find most of the workers to be doing their best, but they don't have enough staffed on the registers but I would assume that's a management issue. Dressing rooms are usually closed even during day time, I assumed it may have been a Covid thing but apparently not.The one thing I appreciate it is at this location I'm not followed by staff/secret shoppers. Maybe it's my tattoos or what not but other locations do this often and makes for an uncomfortable experience, although I do understand they are doing their job. But the most important part !, there used to be an officer who worked there (usually standing near the front doors) in uniform and was so incredibly awesome! We were even on a first name basis . I heard he is currently not working there anymore but if Walmart is reading this and they want to possibly take my review into consideration- the handsome bald cop was a true gentleman and overall great guy in the short interactions I had with him. Extremely disappointed in the way management carries themselves at this Walmart. I have been to many Walmart with great management and customer service but this Walmart's definitely not of them. Elvira one of the managers refused to help me. So I found an item in store that was less online, I have ran I to this situation before and 99% of the time a manager has been courteous enough to honor the online price as they should. At this Walmart I received bad customer service from management and staff and it sucks because this Walmart could be great if management was more customer service orientated. This Walmart, is the worst of the worst of all the Walmarts in Orange County! When my husband asked her for that specific item. She straight out SHOT HIM DOWN and said NO. we dont carry and series one. WITHOUT LOOKING, WITHOUT TRYINGGGG TO ASSIST. NOTHING. just said NO. WE NO LONGER CARRY THAT SERIES. and again. my hubby and i have had a terrible experience before with THIS SAME location SAME SCENARIO! So we leave empty handed, frustrated with the location/employee/store I check the app, website, and other sources JUST to make sure the item is still in stock at this location (of course it is) I checked again the next day (today)~~ and guess what~~~~ the ITEM IS NOW OUT OF STOCK. hahahahha. The store usually only has one cart working. The manager told me they have been mostly stolen. This store needs to take action NOW to correct this deficiency. As many times as this particular Walmart store has made me want to SCREAM, today I feel that I need to say something about it. I truly hope that someone hears my small voice and makes some changes. My complaint is with their "Money Services" and how they handle or don't handle Walmarts MoneyCard transactions or what they call ¿MoneyServices? I have had one of these MoneyCards for years and up until recently it has been nearly impossible to put money on it, or re load it , or use Walmarts rapid reload app..... Walmarts website says I can reload at any Walmart at ANY register pay a fee $3, boom money reloaded and can be used in 10 mins. Or don't pay a fee use the app....... "it's so easy and the best way to reload your MoneyCard"..... yeah not so much.... now you would think that this money grubbing conglomerate would have no problem whatsoever taking my cash and put it on my MoneyCard charge me whatever THEY think is fair (I have no problem paying their fees) I pay their fees quietly for transactions that are -per Walmart... free.... and the boneheads in the MoneyServices dept of this location constantly charge me..... fine.... I'm paying for the "convenience" they offer of not having to have a bank account.... but in the past year or so this locations MoneyServices dept is either out of service or their computers are broken or their systems are down or "sorry we don't do that [cash my paycheck] at this location" whaaaaaaat ? I be been doing this for like 6 years every 2 weeks at this location.... They close their lines whenever they want, line or no line, and they have no idea when they open or close...... Tonight I was actually told by the store manager to go to the MoneyServices line to reload my card, I had to let him know that money services line has been closed for hours now and he literally ignored me turned his head and looked the other way like a 4 year old when I asked him if there was any other way I could reload my card..... I thought at first mabey he didn't hear me so I stood there looking at him and nope I was right he was trying to hide from me as if he was thinking If I can't see her mabey she doesn't see me ...... his eyes all closed tightly .... THE MANAGER.... I feel so stupid for relying on Walmart for anything. Their own employees don't back up their own....they say the Walmarts websites are always wrong... and they get paid to say this!?!?!?! I give myself 1 star for being an idiot and actually expecting Walmart to do what they promise their customers.... how do they continue to grow? One of the good things about this Walmart was the fact it was open 24 hours, now that's changed. Don't know when it happened, but it did. Now if you go there before closing, people are a hurry. Speeding around the parking lot and taking shortcuts to get to the front of the store make it more dangerous. The close the outside area as well, so if you want something they've moved out there, like Christmas lights, you're out of luck even earlier. I know California law changed regarding plastic bags, but it's amazing the number of smaller stores that haven't gone all crazy by pulling the bags all the together and charging for them like Walmart did. (This is more about the corporation that this individual store, but it adds to the frustration about shopping there). They added all these self checkout stands, some are credit card only, which is OK, but getting a bag from here, even if you want one, means flagging someone down. They've been out of the reusable bags even since this started. Sorry Walmart, but your low prices much of an incentive when have you to deal with so many other inconveniences. read more

Turned to Yelp and saw that this Walmart is open 24/7. Um, ok sure. I'll make it short. How bad could it possibly be? There are warning signs in the parking lots. Lock your doors, don't leave valuable items visible. Wtf? You see none of this across the street at the Target so why is this different?? Inside, it's a nightmare. Items and people all askew. People running into me with their shopping carts trying to get to the next thing, not caring where they're going or hurting, and no apologies. Omg, I wanted to leave but really needed some basic things. Customer service was non-existent. They didn't want to answer my questions and didn't know what aisle anything was in. "Oh, I think it's over there." Oh gee, thanks. Checking out was even worse. Several people in front of me had declined cards thus leaving their groceries and items behind so a mass pile up of shopping carts was blocking my way then I finally got back outside and couldn't exit because there was a line of cars behind, people walking right behind my car and not noticing I'm backing out or some other nonsense. Don't go to this Orange location unless you want to get sick by the EMPLOYEES! I went in just to get a Reem of copy paper so I can work. An older employee, short lady with long dark hair was coughing and moaning after each cough. This was on the isle with copy paper, in the back of the store. As I turned to walk away, she was walking towards me down the paper supply isle, coughed again, stopped behind me to organize the shelf. She was wearing a mask...UNDER HER CHIN, NOT ON HER FACE and SHE HAD A COUGH! This was right after a young man asked another person in charge if he could leave because he wasn't feeling good. THIS ILL FEELING EMPLOYEE HAD NO MASK AND NO GLOVES. An employee, young man of color, was wearing his mask and gloves but wouldn't look up as he was walking very slowly down the center of the walkway, looking at his phone the entire time. I had to stop, step aside so he could pass. He never saw me, never looked up. People in line outside, waiting to go in, were not following any instruction in keeping 6' of distance. Police cars and a guy on the sitting on the curb being interrogated by a couple of officers, that's what I've seen here twice at night, once during the day. Probably shop-lifting, but maybe worse. I rarely shop at this store, but when I wanted to buy a cheap $400 laptop at the Irvine Barranca store, they didn't have it. I called, and no other local store had it but here. Same thing when I wanted a cheap HP printer about $100. I got decent service from the tech guy who knew enough about my selections and weeks later, realize everything he said about the product was all right. The shelves weren't exactly fully stocked. but there were employees putting out stuff. And some of the customers might be beautiful on the inside, but many need a shower before going out in public. A gang of little munchkins had their hands over all the apples and bananas, and proceeded to touch everything they could get their hands on. It's not Wal Mart's fault, but still, you can believe I don't buy produce here. The checkout process is a mixed bag. The employees at checkout were pretty friendly, though sometimes slow with the masses of humanity. The aisles throughout the stores are often narrow and blocked specially when there are people with strollers, in wheelchairs, or entire families choosing what type of this or that to buy. The worst thing about this store are the bathrooms. If you wanted t study on grossness, this might be your perfect place especially when the store is crowded. The parking lots at night are dark but active before 9 PM. Then it becomes a ghost town except on the weekends. I worry about those women who shop alone and are texting instead of paying attention to their surroundings. I wish they'd turn up the lights. If you and your date want a dark place to smooch at least you'll have that. read more
