Now I love Walmart as much as the next guy, but the Rohnert Park Walmart most of the employees are rude! My husband has called several times about one specific employee who hovers over me when I'm checking out and is completely rude! I was in there tonight and was told, rudely I couldn't use the photo kiosk. They said it was broken and said it was due to covid. I get it not being available due to covid but I was in there and printed photos a couple weeks ago. Also was told that they weren't supposed to be on, then turn them off! I was told that in order to print out photo I had to go online or on the app. So as I'm going online to upload my photos I asked for one of the several employees if I could get a stool or an electric cart(I have a broken foot and I'm disabled) one employee said they would go get my a cart but never came back! After I uploaded my photos I asked for further assistance and was ignored! It wasn't until I got pissed that someone decided to end their gossip session and came over to help me! I e worked retail well over 25 years and I would have never treated a customer as they did me! Ive fired employees for crap like that! I understand that with covid everyone has been going through tough times but leave your issues are the door when coming in to work! Don't miss treat customers because you never know who that customer is! Could be a secret shopper, someone from corporate office or someone like me who doesn't take to kindly to treatment like that! My husband and I both tried calling to speak with a manager, the first time he got through after the phone ringing for 5 minutes and while waiting for the manager to come on was hung up on! Then we tried to call back the phone just rang and rang! This is not acceptable! Needless to say we will not be shopping in that store anymore and we are placing a formal complaint with their corporate office tomorrow! Store needs to be properly cleaned (looks like it hasn't been in ages), they need more cashiers, assistant managers aren't friendly (especially paul), and none of the associates seem to know their department and are always forced to cover other departments as well. I happened to venture down to Rohnert Park in search of a new computer. The Walmart in Windsor had only 2 computers in stock, and not the ones I was interested in. I was immediately surprised at the cleanliness of the store. It seem well stocked and neat. When I went back to the electronics section, boy I was very happy to find the exact deal I was looking for. I got an awesome Acer computer, monitor, speakers etc for under $400. It had all the specs I was looking for in memory and hard drive. I am a regular customer of this Walmart. I like their specials especially on the 6 pack Diet Coke for $2.50! So I buy some every time I see the special. Low and behold, my wife told me that some of the coke bottles tasted very stale and checked the expiration date to find out it expired on Apr 2017! I checked the rest of the coke I bought and discovered that they expire on Apr 2018! I went to the store to exchange, but I was told there's no way they would exchange without a receipt! And of course I don't keep every receipt! The assistant manager, her name is Diane, was rude to me and lacked any customer service skills! They have recently remodeled the store and it is nicer than it was. They have asked the city to allow them to turn the store into a Super Walmart but, so far, the city has said no. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was furious the other day when I went shopping with my sister and was purchasing alcohol among other things. As we go to the check out line, both of us had valid ID's and were over 21 years of age, however, the cashier looked at my sister's ID, no problems, then she looked at my ID and made a statement that my photo (that I had taken 5 years prior) was not me! I had a couple minutes of arguing about this and then she had the supervisor come up and "verify". I guess the supervisor couldn't tell either! They called ANOTHER supervisor and that supervisor had me literally sign my name on a piece of paper so they could match up my signatures! Of course they matched up, because my ID is ME!!! Now, I'm not blind, and for sure I am judging whoever the hell looked at my photo and could not see that I was the same person, and I'm not sure if it was because I wore a beanie that day or I wasn't smiling like I was in the photo or whatever the reason may be, but I know for damn sure I do NOT look too different in 5 years since I had taken that photo. I get they were doing their job, but how they accused me and the attitude it came with made me upset. There had to have been a better method of handling this type of situation and they way they handled it was not ok or in any friendly manner. read more

Very bad customer service on the fast register by the customer service manager working on the register - refused to sell a bottle of wine to buying customer who showed valid ID! Cashier required to see ID from accompanying person who needed to get ID from parked car only to end up at another cashier who didn't check for ID at all. Not ever going to go to Walmart ever again. I shop here quite frequently, but last time i was there i was falsely accused of stealing! A man and woman who did not give their name (they simply stated they were "homeland security") stopped me as i was walking out the door claiming i had stolen merchandise in my bag. I told them they were mistaken and they persisted, so i dumped my purse on the ground. They claimed i stole two boxes and they had me on video putting them into my purse! The only thing i had put in my purse that night was my phone and my wallet after i had finished using them. They also claimed i must have been stealing because i had gone into the restroom twice that night. I drank a couple sodas before entering walmart and had to use the restroom. After this, they followed my family and I out of the store harrassing us and insulting us. This store is the worst store i have ever been to! I DO NOT plan on going back. read more

Wal-Mart has lots of problems. That's not news. It's FAR from perfect. It's trashy. It's overcrowded. It's understaffed. It's prices, however, out-compete any other retailer in a number of areas: For OTC meds Rite Aid and CVS are blown away. For auto parts and cleaning supplies O'Reilly's and Autozone cannot compete. Some of the canned food and Ghirardelli chocolate outclasses Safeway. WalMart has the feel of a retail slum but its worth it. The money saved is too significant to ignore. read more

I have the flu, covered in sweat, tried four different places looking for 24 hour store that sells medicine. Found Rohnert Park Redwood drive store after driving for forty minutes. Found medicine, and went to Susan's line. She was there today early morning shift. I stood far away from other customer in line, waited for my turn. When I handed Susan the box of medicine, I made a joke about with this flu. Saying don't touch the box where I touched it. I said I needed two packs of smokes, had pretty much quit cause of how sick i feel, and these were for my fiancé. She suddenly got this grin on her face and said " You said these are for your fiancé, that's a third party, I can't sell them to you now." I said I smoke. She said" No, you said they were for your fiance. I won't sell them to you." I asked her if she would mind wiping the grin off her face. She said " If you have a problem with this, my manager's right over there. Have a nice day." Went over to customer service, asked to speak to the manager. Customer service paged manager. Said manager stopped at Susan's register before coming over. Could actually hear Susan laughing about my situation! Finally the manager strolled over, and I told her what I had said. I asked her if this treatment was Walmart policy. "Yes, I'm sorry." I said no you're not and left. I had to go to the FIFTH store to buy smokes! I'm 45. I'm guessing that Susan assumed my fiancé is under 18, and that I'm buying cigarettes for him?!? Enough. Susan is short, heavy set, dyed blonde hair medium length, blue beady eyes, and jaded enough to suspect that I'm somehow trying to put one over on her. The whole thing upset me so much I will never go back to that cheap store again. My only regret is that I didn't stand close enough to her to communicate this horrible flu. read more

what's happening here frfr?? got an email saying the photos we ordered were ready so we went to pick them up. talk to the electronics personnel and they found the photos but not the canvas we ordered. he was new so i understood. he went to ask his coworker to help him out but that coworker first had to wheel out a TV through the store to the parking lot instead of just taking a minute to help us and his coworker out. 30 mins later he's back and finally able to help us. said the canvas isn't ready yet. we told him okay we'll just pay for the 70 smaller photos and forget the canvas. he had no idea how to ring us up just for photos for some reason?? so he withheld all of them. thing is, there was no managers on site or anyone knowledgeable enough to help him nor did he make any attempt to seek help. left empty handed. watched 4 other customers while we waited needing assistance with unlocking a shelf for certain products. they were turned down because they "didn't have a key"??? they also didn't page anyone or make any attempt to find someone with a key. so yeah, if you ever wanted to waste your time, i highly recommend this walmart! read more

I waited at the customer service spot for more than 20 minutes to pick something up that I had ordered online. That wasn't the correct location to pick up, but we'll get to that. I didn't know that there was a separate pickup location, so I waited. And waited. And waited. While seven - yes, SEVEN - employees stood around behind the counter, ALL helping one person, chatting casually with other employees walking past as they did so. There was another woman behind me waiting as well. The return was slightly complicated, but that should still warrant only one or two extra people. These other people made no effort to assist me or the other woman behind me. Finally, when the first person cleared out, I said that I had to pick up an order. The woman up front directed me toward the proper location, to which I was irritated, but oh well - that's what I get for not speaking up and saying something to them. So I proceed to the pickup area. There are two or three employees wandering around, and not another pickup person in sight. After waiting for an additional five minutes (and saying something this time) I was informed that the pickup counter was closed, although it was earlier than the sign indicated that the counter closed (nearly ten minutes early) and the woman refused to help me, even though I could see my purchase waiting on the shelf behind the counter, and all she had to do was hand it to me. I showed her the time and said that I still had ten minutes, and she refused to assist me. I have cancelled my order and will no longer be doing business with Walmart, as this is not the first time they've given me a runaround. Spend the extra couple dollars and go to Target - much better staff! read more

Prices are good, but they are often sold out of merchandise in cosmetics. I would rate higher, except the restrooms are FILTHY!!! Even the walls of the hallway to the restrooms is are disgusting. I tried to return a ps4 controller I purchased at another store in Sacramento because of obvious wear on the joystick. Customer service wouldn't take it back even with a receipt and told me I had to go back to the store it was purchased from so they could verify I bought it through security footage. Like that would have made a difference even if I did swap them. Felt like I was being cross examined. Anyway, made a road trip back to the store I purchased it from and they took it back and gave me cash no problem without reviewing security footage. They told me it was pretty messed up that the RoPo store gave me such a hassle. I agree. read more

This review is particularly meant for the beauty products area. The stock in this area is never up to par, and is usually barren. I have been trying to buy Revlon foundation for a month now and those shelves are 80 percent empty. And if you look around this isn't the only cosmetic that is not there. How horrible for a store that is supposed to pride itself on re-stocking merchandise. The manager obviously has not walked in this area for some time. How sad. I would rather pay more and shop CVS or Walgreen where I can find what I need. read more

This walmart is the worst walmart I have been too. I used to love walmart and the stores but now im starting to think otherwise.recently my husband and I went to this walmart for just everyday things. for instants I went up to the fitting room lady and asked where the george bras went to. she then responded it should be in the 5 rows of bras.I finally gave up and went back to the same lady and said I couldn't find them. She then shruged her shoulders and went back to hanging clothes. ( You need to know your products or if you don't know ask don't ignore the customer). Next we went to the check husband and I . The girl cashier named Tania did not greet us with a smile instead she talked to another employee while ringing up the customer and was talking about there going out that night after work. ( I know how it is working in a retail store but this is customer service and you need to serve the customer or atleast knowledge that we are here.) then as we walked the busser went off. no retail person was there to stop us or check our basket for a sensor ( again not good customer service) come one walmart you need to do somthing on this and not just slack off. train in customer service and or pay them more to keep the good ones. read more

employees are great, prices are great, however... if u need something thats locked in a case, forget it & buy it somewhere else. you will never find someone with a key & could wait over 25 min for a manager or in my case, the assistant manager. needed a number of things in the pet case. asked 5 different employees for key, went to 3 different registers & cashiers called 3 times for pet customer service & no one came. after 10 min waiting i called the store. rang for close to 5 min before anyone answered. asked for a manager. waited on hold for 10 min then - still on hold, asked a cashier to call a manager. 10 min later - still on phone hold btw - i decided to just check out w what i had. then the assistant manager showed up. i said I was still on the phone waiting for him to answer & had been waiting for key for now over 20 min. he apparently didn't hear anything on store jntercom. I left store w nothing but an apology & not one item from the pet case. my suggestions to Walmart is either: don't lock things up, give others keys to cases, turn up the intercom, & buy the assistant manager a hearing aid. customer's best bet is to just get your items somewhere else if they're locked up. you'll be waiting forever otherwise. guessing they dont sell anything in those cases. read more

They took my Christmas card order on Dec 5th, Said out would be ready Dec 15th, and then it never came. Lost in transit. That's all understandable. Stuff happens, but when i called in, the guy put me on hold for 15+ minutes and never came back. I hung up and called back. He picked up the phone and hung up. Then i called back and was transferred around. Phone rang for 3-4 minutes straight at the photo center and the guy never picked back up. They offered to reorder my prints, but they'd come way after Christmas. They offered me 10% off that order...?? Really? They couldn't help me with what paper or other prints could be done in store to rush the order. Basically just wouldn't help and didn't care that i was out. Sure, I'm upset they lost my order and none of my family or friends will get Christmas cards, but the way they handled my call and my issues are where the rating comes from. I'll never order photos or cards from Wal-Mart again. Very frustrating experience. read more

Ahhh the Walmart.... What can I say about it. Usually it's over crowded with the most grungy people you could think of . It's always a mess, nothing's ever where it should be. Hey you need a new pair of pants, hope you got an extra 25 minuets to search through a giant pile of mismatched pants of all sizes. Most of the people working there are super cranky and clearly don't want to be there ( except this one woman who is amazing and make my experience much better (if your reading this you know who you are keep up the good work ) ). Also I have noticed a lot of the staff does not speak English which is a huge issue when your trying to get help and don't speak Spanish. The only thing that makes it a 2 star is the priced are some what low and the amount of things they keep stocked. All in all I really would like to give the ronhart park Walmart a 1.5 but I can't do it gets a 2 if you must go make sure your not in a hurry to be some where because your gonna be there for a long time searching for what you need .... Tried to return diapers here someone else bought for our baby that were the wrong size. They wouldn't take them back because they said they were bought at a different walmart. Seriously? Next time I went my item didn't have a bar code on it. And I was asked if I still wanted it. It was the only item I was purchasing and needed it so I said yes. Then waited 15 minutes at the checkout while they tried to look up a price. Never shopping here again. I used to shop there years ago but stopped due to racial profiling. Spent over $300 at checkout something fell in my cart that was $3.00. I sat in front of the store without walking out the door for over an hour waiting for my ride. People kept walking in and out with the alarm going off and there was security at the door didn't say a thing to anyone I walk out and the alarm didn't go off a crowd of men surrounded me like I just killed someone. I offered to pay for the item which was a simple mistake. I was pulled into a back room and harass for over an hour while my mom waited for me. There were tons of white and Latino people walking in and out with the alarm going off I was the only person of a darker color in the store and now I know why. Besides that the store sucks and if you go to the Eastbay or online you will find stuff much better. It's a country hick Walmart the worst I have ever been to and the only one that I have been to that racially profiles and I have been to a few thought out this state and others.
