This Walmart is not bad. On this particular day I went to customer service to return an item and the staff was friendly and courteous. The line made bed well, so I did not wait long. I also went to purchase some shampoo and coffee and the prices were awesome. The only thing I did not care for was the limited selection of almond milk. I wish they had the blend with cashews, etc. Other than that , not a bad visit. I used the self service check out and it was really user friendly. read more

I do not know why Walmart is always like this here. I think this location is very busy. We all know for a fact that every Walmart feels like you're going through an airport. This place is very busy even on a weekday mid-day. Even on hours where everyone should be at work. I know this because before coming here, I was at the Florin location and it was deserted in the electronics area. But the purpose for coming here was because my Mother needed help. She wanted to buy a laptop for one of my cousins. My Mom is an advocate in making sure people in my family finish their education and this was her thing. We knew exactly which model we wanted to get and it took at least 45 minutes to wait for customer service to help. It literally is a terrible experience. Welcome to another bad review! I went to Wal-Mart today! 11/23/2020, I was in there looking around & buying things for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes I spent around $125/ $140 bucks. I started to walk out & went to get a dog tag for my mother dog & to make a couple more for my daughter & my self, but all I had left was a couple $20 & each dog tag cost was $7.00. I didn't want to put in a $20 bill in the machine so I went to a cashier & asked for change like I'm sure a lot of people do, the cashier told me to wait a minute, I said of course ma. Then I guess the lead cashier walks up and said you had to buy something to get charge. I then reply to her I just spent over a $150 dollars & gave all my ones & gives to you guys paying for my things. I am trying to get a couple of dog tags and don't want to put a $20 dollar bill in the machine, which she replied that don't matter. You will have to buy something else to get charge. I then asked to speak with a assistant manager, she tells me I am one. So I look for a customer service manager ( yellow vest ) and she then tells me. She then tells me she's an assistant, but on her name tags it says lead cashier. After that I say you know what I'll just return every thing I just paid for! But the return counter is closed because of a water pipe broke. I then call the super walmart in West Sacramento 10 times and can't get NO ONE ON THE PHONE, The phone just rings, rings and rings. I then think to my self I'm just going to go over to West Sacramento wal- mart return everything and go to target to get everything I just return at wal- mart but before I do I walked up to the ( the fake assistant manager ) to get the spelling of her name, but she turned her name tag around and would not let me get it! In fact they both did! The customer service manager ( yellow vest ) and the fake ( assistant manager ) cashier lead. But she said her name was Maggie but she was lying because I remember there being a Q in the last part of her name! She is a middle middlebweight she not fat but not skinny, She has long black hair & has eyeglasses, the kind of old School ones! I done with wal- mart! Thank you to the assistant manager MARIAM that helped me return items that another floor manager WARREN would not let me. I went to return six items with a receipt. WARREN said that I could not return the items because they were seasonal and I had 15 days after Christmas to return them. Well I have never known that maybe because I don't normally buy seasonal items from Walmart and return them. I waited in return line for 30 minutes and then waited for warren to come to the register to deny me my return. Nothing had been opened and I had my receipt and NO WHERE in the store was it posted or it was not on my receipt the policy for that store that I had 15 days to return the item after the holiday. It was 2 days past the 15 days and again I would have returned the items sooner if I knew. After waiting in line... waiting for warren and waiting for him to say no. I left Walmart and called. I spoke with the assistant manager MARIAM and she was very understanding and very apologetic and told me to come back but to know for future I have 15 days to return seasonal items. Thank you MARIAM for taking your time to hear what I had to say and for making an adjustment to make sure I left happy. I appreciate it so much. Also when I went back to return the items with MARIAM'S help, the customer service reps where helping another guest and he was returning 2 packs of batteries for $5.95 each and DID NOT have a receipt. Kayla told him that they could return anything without a receipt but all they would get is up to $15 MAX back. The rep asks warren can she return the items and he said return just one pack. I feel like managers are making up whatever rules they want and not following guidelines to the store. So I had a receipt and paid cash for what I bought and he said no to my return but gave someone $6 on a Walmart gift card for batteries that they have no clue was bought or possibly stolen or whatever from Walmart. Make sure managers are all on the same page with policies instead of making things up. Thanks again MARIAM for the help! And explaining to me why you do things at that store different. I've been waiting for Walmart to respond for almost 4 days. Mind you I don't shop at Walmart because there customer service sucks. I was charged 3 Times for 1 item. The cashier voided the item once but not twice. I called Walmart they said I needed to bring in the receipt and the product in. What about the people that don't live there? I'm on the road. I recently went to the Walmart on Truxel road in Natomas and had an experience of racism. After their recent reorganization of the store, I found when buying my hair conditioner that ALL of the ethnic hair products are now locked up in glass cabinets with a security camera above them. When I asked the employee why they were locked up, she replied, "because they never make it to the register and people like to put their hands in them". I found this to be blatantly racist. After taking my two containers of five dollar conditioner out of the locked cabinet, this employee then escorted me to a cash register to ensure that I didn't steal the products. In 2018, the hair products in Walmart should not be segregated into "whites" and "coloreds" sections. I won't be shopping here again and I've informed all of my family members, friends, and coworkers of this incident. read more

I signed up for the free trial to get free delivery because going to the previous store was pure mayhem. I was charged $9.95 for delivery despite the fact that signed up for free delivery. So I go to Walmart for the items that I know I can skimp out on quality a bit... And might I say that the quality of a lot of the items here are pretty darn meh. I checked out some of the food items and besides the prepackaged/branded items, I'm not so sure I would trust having the food here. Granted the cereals, snacks, spices/baking items and some frozen foods are always still awesome. The demographics and just the feeling of safety at the Walmart just isn't there. Afew times I went in, some customers were talking about how high they were and then one of the females with them was yelling about how the two guys were staring at some random girls butt. Not sure about y'all but that made me feel pretty uncomfortable... Last time I went in, the groceries and items were strewn everywhere, things were out of stock and when I asked a worker if he knew when they would get a new shipment, he gave me a range of "maybe 1-3 weeks?". I also went to pick up a chair I had ordered online and at the pick up location in the back, I HAD TO WAIT over 10 minutes before anyone even came to help me. I walked around. To wave two different people on separate occasions to help me/call an associate for me...then finally someone came out of the back room... AS IF THEY HAD been back there napping! He was so rude as well and barely even said 4 words to me "here for pick up?" AND after he finished the transaction, he just kinda started walking away... It would have been appreciated if he just said "you're set" or something to indicate that I was good to take the item and go. All and all, Walmart really needs to work on the whole customer service, employee field. The prices are nice but definitely not worth the experience and quality you get from here.... it's definitely a place to grab cheap stuff if you really need it and know where to grab it. read more

If I can give it a zero I would. I've been to this Walmart a few times and this has been the worse. There are several associates but yet no one bothers to help. Fabric area the associate had me move out of the way just so she can put a cart full of stuff in front of the items I was looking to purchase.
