Unbelievable. Don't bother shipping online items to this store. If you aren't here by 8pm, you can't pick up. I requested an associate from the furthest corner of the store (inconveniently), and waited such a long time before I figured out they closed the pickup area at 8pm. Not impressed. In general I love WalMart. This is my neighborhood store. However, I have to say they are ALWAYS out of the everyday things I go for. WalMart brand OTC drugs, WalMart brand drink mixes, Pet Supplies, Craft Supplies, Great Value brand items in general. I would say 20% of what I go to buy is out of stock! This is a clean store, they just can't keep the merchandise stocked, especially the cheaper brands. The employees are rude and don't want to help. If they spent less time standing around talking to each other and complaining about their jobs the store might possibly be a little cleaner and the shelves would be stocked. Their makeup section is always empty and nobody is ever around to help. Thank you for the great customer service experience. We recently exchanged a tv that was purchased on Walmart.com as a present to us by our 90 year old father who lives in Texas. When we received the delivery it was the wrong tv and we needed to exchange it. My husband did his online research for the return/exchange policies before we went into the store. We were first helped by Trudy and Lavashon in customer service who were so very helpful but did not know how to process the exchange. Dwayna then stepped in to help. All 3 ladies were very pleasant and very helpful it was about an hour wait, but they did not give up and in the end we were able to exchange for the correct tv. I have come to expect long waits and unfriendly staff at the Hallmark Walmart store before but tonight tops them all. I stood in the return line for 30 minutes waiting for the one associate to help the ONE customer in front of me. The associate was too busy talking to everybody else around her and paying attention to everything else that was going on to take care of the customer correctly. The customer wanted to cash her paycheck and reload a card meanwhile getting $100 cash back. A half hour later the customer left a dollar short of her paycheck and no reload on her card. The supervisor that came to help her blamed the customer for the associates error. The supervisor finally opened up another register to complete my return. I let her know that had the associate paid attention to the customer in front of her, the line would not have been so lengthy and the customer in front of me would have been taken care of correctly. This supervisor took great offense and got very smart aleck and rude with me. I commented on her customer service skills and she just kept going on and on. It came to the point where I told her to just stop talking I could not handle her rudeness anymore. Her reaction was to take the 2 items I had just waited so long to purchase and told me that I was not allowed to purchase them. There is a reason that amazon is winning in online market share. I ordered a pool 8 days ago with the delivery date set for today 6/28. I received no delay notification or anything so I called this morning to check whether it had come in or what the arrival time might be. The first associate I spoke to said it was not in but that a truck was being unloaded so I left my number for them to call me in what I was told would be 1-2 hours. 3 hours later I called again as no one had called me. The associate I spoke to said it still was not in but that they were unloading a truck and would call me back. That sounded awfully familiar and quite possibly untrue but I decided to trust them and waited. An hour later I did receive a call but my pool was not in. Then the associate told me that it was being shipped by yellow freight and that they are often up to two weeks late and that this same issue happened a couple days ago and the customer called customer service and was overnighted their pool. I called customer service as this associate seemed unable to help and tried to figure out where the pool was. The store associate showed no delivery delay but the customer service representative, after having me wait for over an hour for another call back, told me that it had not yet been shipped at all. After bouncing back and forth between customer service reps, being on hold for three separate times over 30 minutes each, and being disconnected multiple times, I still had no resolution. It might arrive today, next week, two weeks out or never according to different individuals I spoke with so I asked for them to send another with overnight shipping, or if there was a location I could drive to, etc but received absolutely no help or sympathy and contradictory sets of information about where the pool is in transit or the universe. Finally I gave up. Made them cancel my entire order of pool and accessories and am now driving to a kmart 2 hours away to get a flipping pool. I will never shop at Walmart again and will never doubt the joy that is amazon prime which would have delivered a pool to my house in two days for only $30 more than walmart's price. Screw walmart especially this one workers never know where anythig is i order a mattress was told if i had it sent to the store it would arrive on the 1st or i can have it sent to my home on the 6th so had it go to the store here it is the 10th and my mattress is not ready still it arrived on the 6th at the store and has been processing for 4 days come to find out its female workers in the back so instead of asking for help loading a heavy mattress they say screw it leave it. can i go do their job so i can have my mattress please? I ended up asking for the Wireless Dre Beats and just to be sure I asked the sales associate if they were the right kind and he said yes. I drove to Store #03276 (Hallmark Parkway, San Bernardino, CA) at 10:45 pm on 12/18/15 to have a defective automotive battery replaced. This trip was based on the information obtained from Walmart.com webpage http://www.walmart.com/store/3276/details which showed posted store hours for this Walmart from 6:00 am - 12:00 am, with no special hours cited for either Customer Service or Automotive. When I arrived at the store I was told that Customer Service closed at 10:00 pm. Such information is neither posted on the aforementioned webpage, nor is it posted anywhere on or in the store location. I asked to speak with the manager. The individual, who was identified as the Customer Service Manager, could not explain why there is no such notification to customers regarding the limited hours for Customer Service. She only stated, "Those hours are posted by Walmart" as if the store I was in, Walmart, had nothing to do with Walmart. I then spoke with another individual, who was identified as the Assistant Manager, who only wanted to get a meeting started in the Customer Service area and brushed me off with a rude, condescending attitude. I left extremely angry but not without leaving a message to be given to the Store Manager requesting a meeting with him at 8:00 am on 12/19/15, when he arrived at the store. It baffles the imagination that a business with such abominable customer treatment can remain operating. The individuals hired by Walmart must have an educational level not much higher than the 6th grade. These are people Walmart wants to pay $15 an hour. Their not even worth minimum wage. Online Shipping to store is a joke. Having to wait over an hour in a line that only has 5 people in it.

I'm giving it three stars because the workers there are super nice, very friendly and always make conversation. They seem to hire a lot of young people from the community which I always find encouraging when companies do so. However they don't have produce they have some frozen things, they need to work on keeping everything stocked in the food I also sometimes it feels like if you've ever purchased food from the dollar tree does a similar here with the way that the isles are set up and only a couple of options. Also with the make up department and I've noticed this through to almost every Walmart that has started this check out at the cosmetics area I'm assuming because all of the theft from make up which makes sense to me however if they want to do this and have literally every item behind lock glass and key you have to wait while one person gets assisted with opening their Desired glass door and sometimes they don't always know what they want before they have already asked for assistance so you have to wait for them to choose what they want her to lock that and then go to the next person who's asked for a door to be open I found that this process took almost 20 minutes for me to just get the joy that I needed open because of both indecisive people and and understaffed make up department you need to have someone ready to check people out and someone ready to open doors so that when there's no one checking out two people can be opening doors for you particularly on busier hours. They seem like they're slowly trying to get it together so props to them. They also need to work on the professionalism over the PA system with a lot of young people at work comes a lot of chances for horse play or just goofing off in general so maybe stricter rules on that speaking to other employees over the loudspeaker everyone in the store I can hear that and I'm pretty sure they have walkie-talkies or something they could give them if they needed a longer message to say I found that a little bit ghetto but given the part of town that it's in I wasn't too surprised but again the company should always be able to Control it's different branches and have systems in place for this I'm sure so that professionalism can be had across the board. Other than that good experience I don't go here much unless I really need something in a pinch the stationary a school supplies vitamins and pharmacy area are always kept up however the opposite end of the store is where you'll find all of the downhill stuff. read more

Found something that would have been good enough for what I needed...the flyer on the table said they had 6 in stock but all they had was 1 left and it was the display. this is the third time i have seen broken windows in the parking lot, this is the walmart next to my house and its really not safe at night, due to stories in the paper about walmart/target having brickers/wood in boxes instead of electronics they now open your boxes to check, and then they reseal them and its not a factory tight seal and it looks like you are buying a second hand electronic. read more

Customer service lacks in every bank, store utilities, & business's in general., I am a customer service manager, in my late fifties. Thank goodness I was trained at a time where the customers came first & were always right & if they weren't, It was not our place to correct them or argue. Our job was to resolve any issue as quickly as possible & at the same time cost efficient. I don't even dignify these departments with a comment or complaint . The reason is, every department is ran buy a higher head, the work ethics rolls down, managers lead by example. So why would I waste my time & energy to speak or complain to a higher head? Its obvious they don't care, because of the treatment you receive from the employees that were higher's or promoted & trained from a manager with poor work ethics. They don't care because of the economy. Most of us can only afford Walmart. They figure they'll be back, in which I shop there as well. I just go there with no expectations. If I happen to get a employee with good CS skills I commend them & tell their supervisor. One place I did get impressed with, was Aldi in Buena Park. I about fell over. Old time customer service, I left there with my mouth open it was so good. How refreshing there is a chance that more will maybe follow & give them some competition. read more

Always out of items. I have been going to this store for 2 years. They are always out of stock of the lesser priced products. Had to have the manager order items that were out of stock for over 1 year. Yes.. 1 year and they didn't notice. Watch out for police there! The San Bernardino Police will write parking tickets in their parking lot. IE tags out... searched my car and left ticket along with leaving trunk open and door open partially while raining. I didn't think it was legal for cops to do that on private parking lots. You get searched at the door at walmart too.. wow. I told them after spending 300 dollars yesterday on groceries and halloween decorations that my back hurt and I was going to leave the store and they could get out of my way and go review the security tapes if they thought that I stole something. Well it looks like I am going to be one of those people who switch from shopping at Walmart and heading over to Target. While i do find prices to be cheaper at Walmart, I would rather spend a few cents more then deal with the employees at Walmart. They must be having trouble finding competent workers because the ones they have now have no clue at all. I went in to the hardware department to buy a paint roller. I found the one i needed and it happened to be the only one of its kind. It didn't have a sku number or price listed so i went to the bald white man stocking in automotive and asked him if i could get a price tag. He told me he couldn't help and that i would have to wait till tomorrow for the department manager to help me. Wait till tomorrow for a price tag??? Wait, it gets better... I left the paint roller and went to the check out stand. The young lady working that register was over in the candy isle pretending to fix the stock while really just chit chatting with her fellow employee. When I got in her lane she huffed and rolled her eyes. I wanted to tell her that i am sorry she is having to work and would probably much rather be home collecting EBT but i didn't, I was polite. I didn't know another product in my cart didn't have a price tag on it so the wonderful cashier (yes i am being sarcastic) rudely told me i needed to wait a few minutes for a price check on a 99 cent item. I said forget it, it wasn't a big deal. Good thing was it seemed like a slow day at Walmart so it wasn't crowded, bad thing is they have incompetent employees. really wish you could give zero stars ! i hate this wal mart ! its ghetto and dirty . the workers are aweful and rude , not to mention half the time they dont even know how to help if you have a problem ! i have a child who is on formula and they put the formula in a case becuause it got stolen to much . i get that , but i dont feel like waiting 30-40 min every time for a person to come and open the case for me . the lines get jam packed and there will only be like 3 registers open ! so checkout takes FOREVER !! they need to improve on their people skills and work on helping customers quickly ! read more

This store can certainly use a better customer service....One evening I phoned its photo dept. and asked about ID photo, the attendant suggested that I should come there 9:30a.m. because they need a little time to set up the machine. I drove 25 miles to get there by 10a.m, but the clerk said I need to go somewhere else because their machine broke. Very recently for the first time I visited their pharmacy with a prescription, the attendant mention me to come back after 45 minutes. A few hours later I went to pickup the medication but it was not ready. After waiting for another hour the pharmacist mention it only had 4 day supply and I need to return to them a few days later to get rest of medication. I told him that I have to drive at least an half hour each way to get their store from where I live. He wanted me to wait again, then he said, the medication need to fill from two different companies....Guess what I did? read more

I wish there was a option to pick no star. I get the store closes at 12 midnight, but working as much as I do I didn't have time durning my day to go during the day. I made it in around 11:45 still with 15 minutes and only having to Grab three things since I have to be on the road early in the morning, 15 minutes was more then enough time. While I just needed to grad one more item, I was rudely told to get out at 11:55 by the store's customer service manager (pretty ironic huh), leaving me with 5 more minutes which is not something you tell a customer, coming from someone who has worked in retail you let the customers in side finish. I go to the register and I have to wait till 12:01 for the to even ring me up cause if their system restart, in that time I could of got my last item, but no now I have to go TARGET and get it tomorrow.
