Honestly, I didn't have high expectations when I ordered a bike for my toddler to pick-up at this store this afternoon but I didn't expect complete incompetence. Their site says pick-up available within 4 hours. I popped in after 5 hours (generously giving them an extra hour to do whatever WalMagic they conjure to pull an item from the floor to the customer service area) but, no, the bike was not ready. Add in the time waiting to get help at the customer service desk and then finding someone who could actually work the computer to pull up the item status yielded a pretty pointless trip to this store. This is probably one of the smallest Walmart Supercenters I've seen. There's nothing "super" about this place - in size or anything else. The selection of merchandise is pretty abysmal. Shopping here on a Sunday night, most items were low in stock or just out of stock. We couldn't find any of the basic items we wanted in the grocery aisles...you'll have a much better time just going to Target down the street where you'll find a better selection of products in stock. The only upside for this location is organization - the items that are available are actually somewhat organized on the shelves, much to my surprise. read more

I am very appalled at how this store treated me Selena was very rude, and disrespectful. She said she was the manager. Yet she had absolutely no people skills and doesn't know how to train her staff! She laughed at me and made fun of me for no reason, except to insult me while she was " helping me" ! She had a complete lack of ownership. This person should not be a manager with this attitude. I am infuriated with what happened. I will definitely not be back. I wish I could give this zero stars. This is not how Coustmer service should be! As I was writing this I happened to walk past the head and assist managers Selena lied which isn't a shock considering her personality. This walmarts not very good. Not to be a complainer and I actually find this to be funny. I went through the regular check outline because i didn't want to bag my own groceries, lazy day that and I had just had surgery a month prior and still getting into the shape of things. The checker didn't bag my groceries, I stood their looked at her and said well I guess this is. Ah your own grocery day huh? Women did not bag my groceries know it sounds ridiculous but it's true, strait stood their did nothing laughed at my joke and did nothing. Bagged my own groceries. It's hilarious. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE......... I went there to return stuff and they told me to go to a supercenter located at Story road. Upon reaching there, the manager told me that they are a supercenter too and they have been redirecting all the returns to different stores. Yday , Iw ent to return things I got from Walmart.com and they gave me the reason for not taking the returns as whenever they try to do the returns from the website, their whole system crashes down. I told them that it says on their website that I can return at store and she declined. This is the only Walmart store with horrible ..... horrible customer service. Bought many items here tonight. They had a discontinued buck knife that had no price showing up on the screen. So we take it to the front where customer service manager Nam comes over and tells me to hold on. Since her own in store bar code scanner can't find the item's price she goes to Walmart.com and it shows 27 dollars. Only problem is I bought the same discontinued knife that I had to dig out of a bin that's locked up in sporting goods and I paid $10 dollars for last week. She says its 27. I told her there is a mistake. Nope 27 she says. I asked her to hold onto the item that she can't find a I store price for. She says she can't. Walmart get some managers that can override obvious silly issues and take charge of a obvious simple issue. Also Customer Service manager Nam at store #5884 at 10:33pm don't snicker and make laughing gestures to a customer. It makes me upset that I'm trying to spend money here and I get laughed at. Walmart was offering a "moto e" cell phone for $9.99 on cyber monday. I went to the cell phone department at the Almaden Expressway Walmart store. The manager said that the price was $99, not $9.99. So I went home and printed out the advertisement online and went back to the store. The salesperson refused to give me the cell phone for $9.99. So the prices on cyber monday is not honored. It is a waste of time to go to the Walmart store on Almaden. read more

I went there last night & forgot a bag. I called once I realized it was missing & nobody answered the phone it just rang & rang. Called first thing this morning & they had me on hold for 15 minutes. Called back again & the lady says oh yeah it's right here. My daughter goes to pick it up & they hand her the bag which had cheese, & frozen waffles still in the bag they never bothered to put anything back. I would rather pay double for my groceries & shop somewhere else to get better customer service. I will never shop there again. read more

I have been to this Walmart many times before, and my experience has been pretty adequate. But this time me and by brother went to the self checkout line, and the whole checkout machine was dirty and disgusting. There was a brown liquid all over the part of the machine where you are supposed to put your items after you scan it. There were multiple employees around who were doing nothing to clean it up. So right after I scanned my items I placed them down, only to realize they were soaking wet with a foul smelling liquid. As I was worrying about the brown liquid on my items, the system starting saying that there was an unexpected item in the bagging area over and over again, about 15 times overall. We called a guy over to help us who gave us a little bit of sass, but he was old and who would give you sass working at a Walmart all day. So anyways I 110% recommend that you SHOULD NOT go to this Walmart EVER!!!! I am actually infuriated while writing this right now. This does NOT deserve the title "Walmart Superstore" read more

Only reason I'm giving a 1 star rating is because you can't give negative stars. Customer service is terrible, store isn't stocked well and the managers are no help. Oh and the manager or supervisor who oversees the food department is terribly rude. He didn't even acknowledge me and I saw him yelling at one of his employees in front of customers, talk about unprofessional. Also forget shopping around 9:00pm to whenever they close, it's impossible. There are boxes thrown down the aisles and you can't get through them. If you need to go shopping go to the Costco and Target that are close by. read more

I'm not a person who likes crowded places at all...but this wal-mart seems very calm and organized. And whenever i have to locate an item the employees are happy to help. I especially liked that now there's one in my neighborhood. Now it's the best place to live in the BAY AREA, HALLELUJAH!!! read more

Yesterday 12 Oct 2015 late morning I was shopping at this Walmart Store when a voice announcement was made that all registers were down. The announcement was repeated about 10 minutes later and I ended my shopping and went to customer services. I inquired when the problem would be solved, but they had no idea. I asked if there were manual backup methods even if it required paying cash. They say no and made no effort to allow for such an impromptu method. I asked why they were no closing the store since they were wasting customer's time. They said they would consider doing that. Eventually they closed the store and caused a massive traffic jam of people trying to get out of the only exit from their parking lot to Almaden Expressway. There was no consideration at all by the store management of the fact they were wasting customer's time. There appeared to be no sense of concern on the part on any Walmart employee at the store that indeed the entire store was not functioning despite of being open. A call to Walmart customer service only to have them redirect the complaint back to the local store manager rather than get the corporate managers involved in understanding what happened that prevented the registers from being restored and why the local store manager did not proceed to advice new arriving customer to not come in given the fact that the store would not sell them anything at all until the registers were operational. There appears to be a reluctance from central management at Walmart to address complains which are due to local management issues (perhaps in addition to some other data center issues). Closing a Walmart store during working hours is a significant lost of revenue, but their first line of action is not to involve upper level management. Customer service would not immediately contact the boss of this store manager, but they gave me his number. The supervisor of this store manager does not answer his phone. The impression I got is that they are too big to care to address even mid-level complaints impacting hundreds of customers. I take my clues from their behavior. read more

On 2-20-16 i went to this walmart to get my son a bike saw a 24 inch mountain bike and told the worker to unlock it and take it down so i can see if it was a good fit for my son . He comes over asks me if it was for my son. I said yes then he looks at my son and tells me to big then goes to another bike and says this one it his size, i look at the bike and say thats a girls bike and it purple i said i wanted this big and then tells me agiain its to big. Point is idont care if its to big the point was take the bike down off the rack and let my son sit on it so i can determine if its good size for him and if he can grow into it. Don't ever try to call with a question of any sort. When I called WallMart the phone rang for what seemed forever. When someone finally answered they put me on hold for over 10 minutes, then when I asked my question on a product that I was concerned they were discontinuing, I was put on hold for another 10 minutes. When they came back on the line they said they had none in the store. I knew this, I was just there looking. I wanted to know if the product was discontinued, or if they were just temporarily out. I asked to speak with a manager. I've been on hold for yet another 10 minutes and I'm so ready to hang up. I know things can get busy, I try to be understanding, but this is just crazy. OMG, as it was holding the connection was lost. So, so disappointing. This is clearly the worst customer service that I've ever received from any store I've ever had to do business with. This is a one star for the PHOTO CENTER! When I arrived to print the "instant print" kiosk machine they where not working and was told to use the "one hour" kiosk and will only have to wait 15 mins..fifteen minutes past and still no PHOTOS! I was then redirected to use the "instant print" kiosk because now they were running. All three machines were super slow and once I got one to work it decided not to print a recipe to claim my photos. At this point there were no associates in the photo center and had to walk to electronics to ask for help and it took a good 10 mins..after someone came the lady who directed me to use the machines was rude and inconsistent that I was waiting for 40 mins just to print 9 photos!!! She was trying to do something behind the desk and kept saying her computer was frozen and that it was processing and then change her story! Either Walmart has cheap equipment or the staff are not trained. Finally after one hour of waiting the associate told me I had to come back because she couldn't download my photo in neither the "instant print" or "one hour photo" kiosk but was being compensated by not pay for photos when I decide to come back. Never will I come to this Walmart again! Really bad communication between the staff! read more

Negative star if possible. Worse customer service ever. Was supposed to have my order for pick up on Monday, went in and they couldn't find it. Tuesday i spend a whole day on the phone trying to reach someone for help, no one could help. Wednesday evening spend over an hour trying to get to the manager to talk to, and was put on hold various times for 20/30 minutes. At one point someone answered and said customer service closed for the day 2 hours before, yet I spoke with someone half an hour before. Later someone picked and when I asked if they were a manager they said no manager is gone for the day. I asked what their title was she said "half a store manager", clearly you don't know what you're talking about. Finally after hour and a half someone started helping me they couldn't find my order (or didn't know how to after giving them my name AND order number). A male picked up said he was the store manager, which I was told he is gone for the day? To make sure they had my name right, which they did. At the end of it all they told me I have to call Walmart.com because they can't figure it out.. 3 days for all of that? What more do I have to say. read more

This Walmart needs to retrain their employees and their security employees we have gone to this Walmart since opening day spend a 1000.00 or so every month me and my girl are regulars , so why were treated disrespectfully and embarrassed by the action if the employee and the asst, manager Shana before my girl even finish our transaction four employee and the asst, manager approached my girlfriend accuse her of stealing they ask her for receipt of out her bags she have purchased at the dollar store she show them the receipt and told them they were rude and wanted ti know their names and ask why they thought she was stealing they told her they didn't have to tell her and walked away she then ask the say manager what their names were and she said the same thing really so to my understand that really bad customer service we didn't get oh we are sorry or a thank you for waste ing your time and by law they can't physically touch you can't even stop you from exiting the building unless an employee witness the stealing they block the exit pulled the bag out her hand really questionable behavior and when it was over my girl didn't steal any thing and went Thur all that embarrassment for nothing read more
