Horrible communication, no customer service. Waited to buy a watch from jewelry section after notifying associates numerous times that I needed help. After ar least a half hour, I attempted to get assistance again and was informed the person with the keys had left. No one could have told me that the first few times I asked ?!? Pretty good selection of items in stock. Easy too find. Store seemed clean and organized.

If you need to place a pick up order, DONT. There are people who park in those spaces to go inside, it's a Sunday afternoon. There should be no reason it takes us 30 minutes for us to park because again NO PARKING for curbside was available. Then had to wait another 30 something to get our groceries! Not to mention it doesn't take 2 to do the job of one. Why did two guys come out with our groceries and talk to each other and make jokes and laugh the whole time instead of greet my husband and me. This Walmart has NO customer service. And instead of substituting something in my order they just flat out cancel it. H-E-B would never. read more

We took my car to the automotive department at store #194 to have a hole patched in one of my tires (I purchased a whole new set from Walmart last year with the warranty) and while it was there, we asked for a oil change on the car. My husband asked for the price of the oil change was told "we wont know how much it is until we're done" but we just thought this was a new employee and didn't know. After my husband dropped it off, we got a call that the hole wasn't able to be patched and we would have to order a new tire (since they didn't have them in stock) and PAY for it and then have it refunded once they put it on. My husband and I declined because that's not how warranty works. So he went to pick up my car after the oil change and my steering wheel and shifter were COVERED in oil and greases. My husband went in to ask for them to clean it but the only person to help didn't speak English. This employee takes my husband to this back room where the lights were off and the employees were just sitting on the floor together. My husband asked who changed the oil in our car and someone told him to get out of there and he wasn't allowed back there and so he asked the questions again, who changed the oil on our car, and one of the employees stood up and got in my husbands face, tried to fight him while another employees are holding back the Walmart employee trying to fight my husband because he left my car a mess. Then my husband has to do the work to find who has our tire in stock (no one offered to help him find one in stock) and so he drove another 30min to another location to be told that even though he was HOLDING THE RECEIPT in his hand that they could not take care of him or look up what is needed to replace the tire. Now my husband drives to the 3rd store and the employee, Cameron at store #744 (Who was AWESOME) tells my husband that they CAN patch the tire and took him and showed him how he planned to fix it. Then he called after we dropped it off to tell us he found a hole in another tire and asked if he could patch. This was also the night before our son started school and we had plans to have dinner together and get him ready for school together as a family but did not end up getting home till 8:30pm and everyone was in bed. This was suppose to be a simple drop off to plug a hole and get an oil change. Both my husband and I called that Walmart (at sperate times) to address this major issue with the store manager and both of waited on hold for over 30min and no one answered our calls. The employee kept apologizing for the manager not answering. So I call the 1-800 number and they couldn't get ahold of anyone. I was given a reference number and told would get a call back. Guess what, NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. I have called BACK to the 1-800 three separate times and each time I was told I would get a call back and nothing happens. Then today the person on the phone tells me there's notes that the manager spoke me... umm what, excuse me??? THEY LIED ABOUT SPEAKING to me and AGAIN i'm left with "someone will call you back in 3-5 days". This has wasted MANY hours of our time, our gas money and taken away memories for my son's first day of school because someone didn't want to do their job and then tried to FIGHT my husband. So I will be blasting this story everywhere because it's clear that 3 phone calls to corporate get no where and people just lie over and over to get out of taking responsibility to disrespecting people in a customer service based job. I hope I truly get a call back and they do what it takes to make it right because NO ONE should EVER be treated this way and ignored, and LIED to after the fact. read more

Thought it couldn't much get worse than having to walk in this nasty/disgusting store to find that one item needed but then to have to check myself out while the disengaged lazy azz playing on her phone supersized me was a little much. Writing a review because I am pleasantly surprised. We stopped shopping at this Walmart due to cleanliness, customer service and safety concerns. Shopped here today for the first time in over a year due to an item being available in this store without order or pickup option. Wow, the store has new floors, new design, extremely clean, I had 2 employees helping me find my item and there were no lines in checkout (self check or employee checking you out). My sweet Lyle needed some swim shorts when we were out of town and the closest walmart was this one. We walked in and were greeted with the smell of sour watermelon and bad fashion taste. I tried to ignore it. we went to the swim swear section and Lyle couldnt find good bathing suit. we asked a worker why all of the swimsuits were lifeless and weird looking nd she uttered the words "Okay Boomer" I WAS APPAULED i am only 37 years old they were obviously just jelous of my amzing fashion taste and goodly shaped breasts! My son laughed and picked out a pair of octupus shorts. We went to self checkout and the steam from my brow was atrocious! I couldnt believe the price for such bad style! needless to say i will not be returning! read more

I moved to Baytown 3 weeks ago and found that this place is the best option in town for whatever you need. I even tried to find kitchenware at the mall down the street, but no luck. Macy's and JC Penny's had nothing compared to this walmart. I was shocked. This store is clean, open 24 hours, and offers groceries to furniture to key copies made, all at reasonable prices. read more

I have been in this store twice this week. Very disappointed both times. WalMarts motto, 'let's buy 50 registers and only use 3' First time, I ran in to get 12 things. I was done shopping in les than 10 minutes. But then I stood in line for almost twenty. Second time, I had to pick up a new router. Found them in electronics. They were locked behind glass. So, to find an employee. Walked towards the checkout in electronics, there were 5 employees standing around talking. Two saw me and they all scattered. After waiting five minutes for someone to come back, I went to another department and had to page an employee. I went in to buy one thing and it took almost 30 minutes. :/ read more

Biggest Wal-Mart I have ever seen, they had gun department with guns, fishing, automotive and tire repair center. I guess I haven't been to a Wal-Mart in a few months. I went to one not to long ago and it sucked this one was like Mega Mart. Got an Air-Purifier and a couple other things they have a good selection of just about everything. A lot of people in this one. Produce Section, Electronics, Hunting & Fishing, Knitting, Cooking, Cleaning, Home Repair, Electricity... etc. Only reason for not 5 stars is once again the check-out process. Had a bunch of lanes open to my surprise except the fact- not sure where lines start when they are criss-crossed and our check out lady was just that, a check-out lady. Didn't say a word, was moving at a glacial pace of a snail and made the entire Wal-Mart trip awesome until we had the pleasure of witnessing her be upset she had a job. read more

I am disgusted in the produce area items being out of date. Store is dirty and low class. walmart might take lessons from Target. Target is bright, pretty, clean and has an attractive inviting parking lot. stockers are speaking foreign languages in my presence. I feel like they are talking about me and that is rude. I ask anyone if they spoke my native language of German. Of course not. Why not. America is a melting pot. we have chosen English in an effort to communicate as an effort to be able to be one America with harmony. I feel discriminated by Walmart when I have to listen to employees visit in a foreign language until they get to me. I have noticed it is a prerequisite of working in walmart..... If you are a stocker you must always put your cart in the middle of the isle no matter what department. Being handicapped I get sick of having to do my thing to be respectful of not hitting displays. I pick up what I bump but having to teach your people to get out of the middle of the isles is stupid. On a positive note the flavor of the fresh meat has improved. Walmart has been receiving less and less of my business for these reasons. I only go there when my little Food Town doesn't have what I need. Dry goods are better at the many other businesses around town. I get it and go to a working register not 15 people deep. Employees are seemingly nice folks. I also don't need to do their job checking either. One of my girlfriends said she would rather die than go in any walmart. My husband refuses to go. I am a senior now and I don't really enjoy dealing with the mess so I go to Target, Food Town, CVS, Lowes and dollar stores. read more

I have continued to shop with this giant through You Tube's WalMart: The High Cost of Low Price; I made myself accept the obvious forcing of only stocking and carrying limited brands, flavors, and sizes; I even changed my shopping times to 5AM (right after my morning workouts) so that I could sort of ensure availability of desired items. However, WalMart will no longer be a recipient of my money. While I know that my little money won't be missed, and WalMart could probably care less, I still have to speak up, stand for something, and fall for nothing! This morning was absolutely inexcusable: only self-check out was available, when service was needed it slowly sauntered around the corner, then the entire transaction froze/ended. I was then told that everything would have to be re-scanned. NOT Hey, at least I was able to extend my workout by walking to and from opposite ends of your store at least 3 times this morning. Woops! The incompetence at this particular location runs deep. I visited this location on today to get my daughter's ears pierced. I told them that I wanted the June birthstone earrings, which were the pearls. The lady pierced my daughter's ears with the March earrings and attempted to say it was my fault! Her manager offered to take the earrings out and re-pierce my baby's ears. But because my daughter should not have to suffer pain due to her employee's incompetence, I did not allow it. I ask to speak with the general store manager who came over and refunded me. She told the associate to give me the pearl earrings to put in my daughter's ears instead. The jewelry manager told her that she didn't even have any in stock and she would have to order them. The manager told me to go to another walmart in pasadena about 30 minutes away. I went and the manager at that store told me that she told the manager at the Baytown location that she could not give me the earrings because they only have kits, not individual pairs and if the mistake was made in Baytown, it needs only to be handled in Baytown. So this manager knew that I could not be helped at the other store and she wasted my time and sent me on a blank trip across town for no reason! read more
