Typical Walmart. Very clean and couldn't find a few things and employees actually helped out.

THIS PERTAINS TO WALMART SOUTH in Fruitland Maryland. First, I am very pleased with the INTERIOR Upgrade Change--The Store Looks Good!! And Thanks for fixing that problem with entrance road ..directly in front of the store! Someone must have read my review This other issue ( is only because I notice things as a Correctional Officer ‍ ). My Thankless Job I believe WALMART revenues may be around $700+BILLION. I am in walking distance of SOUTH WALMART IN FRUITLAND MARYLAND. I go there to give my $$$ to you a lot!! 9.27.23 I went to your store and it took me to literally Pull OUT (3) shopping carts--- That were more handicapped than I---Before I found an unproblematic one. WOW WALMART! Really, $700 billion Revenue ( I go to your store at least 3/4 out of seven days ......and I can't get a decent shopping cart! Upgrade Time. read more

Employees have always been very friendly and helpful. I have mostly dealt with the pharmacy and couldn't have asked for better service.

We moved down here recently and I guess i was expecting this Walmart to be like the one we have shopped in for years. Friendly and helpful staff. Boy was i wrong. This is an extremely busy Walmart in the summer, hey and i totally understand why and I kind of expect the employees to be overwhelmed at times, but that doesn't give them an excuse to be lax in their attitude and helpfulness. Here it is the off season, and the staff is still as rude and lazy as before. I HATE going to Walmart anymore, especially the pharmacy. But don't get me wrong it is better than the Salisbury one, that one is just horrible and maybe 1 star. And when you express your concerns to Walmart corporate they dont care. So it is a losing battle getting anyone to care about the store. If it wasn't a 3 hour one way drive, i would drive back to my old Walmart. read more

I normally despise Walmart. The ones in Baltimore are dirty and disorganized. I hate going there so much, I sometimes pay more to avoid their unsavory clientele. This particular Walmart is one of the few I don't mind shopping at. Maybe it's because this one is in a tourist area but it always seems to have adequate staffing. It's well stocked, clean and no panhandlers in the parking lot asking me for money! I wish more Walmarts would emulate this one! read more

Wal-Mart is a Wal-Mart. That is true. This one is great for late summer stocking up on $10 bikinis. Don't worry, just keep going to the gym all winter. They'll fit next year. If they don't, hey, it was $10, throw it away. I also stocked up on goods for the possible hurricane hit. Good move. Great store. read more

Store had sheriffs and state police in ballistic armor conduct a sweep of the store to remove anyone of a certain age because of a unrelated car meet in the parking lot. I was caught up in the sweep because of my age and was asked to drop my groceries and "leave immediately" because "my business was not welcome" and to "never return". Absolutely disgusting and irrational management. Avoid this store like cats avoid swimming. read more

It is now a super Wal-Mart. They did so much business, that they built a bigger store, and then tore down the other building. They usually have what I'm shopping for, but I try to patronize other places because it is almost always crowded here. read more

Walmart has everything!! OK, OK... it's a typical Walmart with nothing special but it's still always fun to walk around and shop at one of these places. They did have a nice machete and knife collection hanging on the shelf pegs. You will never see that in NY. LOL read more

Broke my glass frames which I bought 499 miles away before moving here. Went in on a Sunday morning two weeks before Christmas expecting long wait and maybe no help. But Bree in Vison Center took me right away, found frames that worked for my lenses and I was back in car in less than 39 minutes total. Bree was great ! read more

Excuse the check in post, the driver was furious leaving. The parking lot was covered with scattered carts, pot holes and debris, granted you can't get everything but it seemed like no one tried. Inside: male bathroom needs to be cleaned and not smell of urine. Isles were neat and organized though. read more

Its black Thursday I have been shopping for 3 hours for my grandkids and kids and I go to get in line and there are NO CASHIERS at all. Im exhausted, disabled and now I have to ring up and bag my purchaces of over 300.00. I wanted to cry. Very very unhappy about. Please understand we love this store and have always had the option to use cashier . We will be more observant in future to see if there are cashiers before shopping. read more

The store is clean and has the normal Walmart stock. The bathrooms are clean. The employees were nice.

I absolutely love the grocery service! I used the app to collect a grocery list and when ready i clicked order. I made several changes to my order before picking it up 2 days later. My order was correct and on time. I did not even need to get out of my car. I pulled up, clicked, "check in" and someone came out within 30 seconds. This was so easy and convenient that it is the only way i ever want to shop. I even had my kids download the app so they can add to our grocery list as needed. This has shaved hours off of my grocery shopping time. read more

Wal-Mart at Ocean CIty Maryland is over due. for this location is limited in a lot of items. GROCERY This location didn't upgraded it grocery like the: FREEZER: this location is limited in the cold items like orange juice, fruit punch only in the not need refrigeration. no egg and cheese but on the self. FAST FOOD: This location has a Subway sub. It also ok. But they need better name brand food to sell But it always empty and it a bad sight when you go out to eat and not knowing it's good or not. SPECIALLY ITEMS: for being at the beach they also sell items with Ocean City tea-shirts and candy that popular at the beach. Between $1.00 up to 3.00 for one or two. It also limited in size from small to XXXL size. PARKING: Parking is good and also it has a bus stop by the entries. Over all I wood give a five star but I end up giving it just a three star. read more

Very rude and unpleasant service by Shayla, a CSM! Berlin Walmart Supercenter, 11416 Ocean Gtwy, Berlin, MD 21811 I went to this Walmart store to pick up something. The associate who served me doesn't suppose to work at Walmart. Her name is Shayla and she's a customer service manager. What a shame. Very rude and unpleasant associate. She didn't greet me or said hello, she didn't ask how may I help, she didn't even look at me or smile, etc. This person made me feel guilty that I went to Walmart and interrupted her time. Can't believe such people are CSM to one of the largest retail chains in the world. read more

Well, Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart. This one is frequented by us whenever we are staying in the area. It is located just off Rt. 50 between Berlin and West Ocean City. They are pretty well stocked and fairly clean compared to some Wal-Marts I have visited. The staff always tend to be pretty friendly here as well. Great place to pick-up some inexpensive sun tan lotions, toiletries, forgotten swimsuit, whatever on the way into Ocean City. read more

This Walmart is more expensive than most other Walmarts, I guess being close to the beach has something to do with that, Like most other businesses in the area, they gouge you out of every penny they can. The Food Lion in Ocean Pines has food items that is actually cheaper than Walmart. The older employees are actually nice and believe it or not these people smile and say hi. The younger ones could learn a few things. There a few good young employees in the store, the one lady in charge of electronic is awesome. If you want to have an unforgettable experience visit this place in the summer, you will never look at people the same again. I am generally a fan of Walmart and this one was perfect for us to stock up on supplies for our week in Ocean City. A short 15 minute drive during off-peak traffic times from 40th street in Ocean City makes it convenient enough. Predictably, they have a large selection of beach supplies that we could not find at our local Walmart. We were able to get everything we wanted and at typical Walmart prices except milk was almost $2 a gallon more than what we pay in our area. The 3 stars is because of long lines with closed registers. read more

This Wal-Mart was no different, but I wanted to give an extra star because the employees at this location didn't seem suicidal and the store was well stocked. It's a Wal-Mart none-the-less and it has no chance of competing for my crush on Target...but if you're in the area and need to grab something random, this is probably the place to get it. read more

The people who work here are okay. They aren't super helpful, but they're not rude, either. The clientele is horrible!!! I honestly wish I didn't have to rate even 1 star because it's not deserved. My husband and I moved here a little over 2 years ago from western Maryland. I've always been a huge Walmart shopper. My grandmother is hooked and has been since I was born. She used to go visit the cashiers at the Oakland Walmart and take them gift bags, lunch, groceries, etc. Just so you're aware that I've been in my fare share of Walmart's with her shopping from one side of the country to the other. This place is HORRIBLE. I refuse to go in without my husband anymore. I've been looked at inappropriately by several male stocking employees. I've called to speak with management about the perpetrators and never get to speak to anyone. The one man is always stocking the laundry detergent aisle. He literally makes me feel like he's undressing me in his mind and I HATE it. I've never been to a store and been treated like this. I was buying dryer sheets one day and asked him if he'd hand me the box in front of me. I didn't grab a shopping cart when I got there thinking I could handle carrying by hand. By the time I got to that aisle I couldn't get the dryer sheets by myself, my arms were fully loaded down. A (supervisor?? in a yellow vest) and another employee walked into the aisle immediately after I asked him. He was just staring at me and walking toward me not saying yes or no. So I asked the, who I assume is a supervisor, and she said "no he's got it". He then sat the dryer sheets in front of my nose on my arms load of groceries instead of putting them in my hand waiting to grab them. There's a younger man who handles the carts in the parking lost and the self pay registers. He is also pretty creepy. I've caught him staring at me and other women and girls. There was a time a young girl with leggings on was leaving. When she walked past him and a few other employees standing in a group he bent over and looked like he was breaking his neck to look at her butt. I was furious. I know she didn't leave much to the imagination, but he works in a very public place where I feel some sort of composure should be necessary. It's absolutely sexual harassment in some instances. This issue needs to be addressed. Management needs some swift attention/correction. read more

This newly remodeled Wal-Mart is fantastic. I live part time in the area and shopped at both the old store and the new one. What a change!! This new one is so clean and organized and unlike many other Walmarts, the people are so helpful. I shopped at this store weekly during the summer and it would be so busy during the day but there were many check outs open and every night all the shelves would be restocked...unlike my local Virginia Walmart. They definitely have the best grocery prices...along with many other items and it is nice to be in a vacation area and not have prices tripled for everyday items. read more

As a local resident, I cannot wait til they open the new Walmart Super Center they are currently building behind the existing Walmart store now!! We do not have many choices for shopping in our area so to have a Walmart Super Center is going to be a fantastic addition to our small town! read more

I went the pharmacy today to pick up my sons perscription and it was not there. There had been an issue because they couldn't read the dr.'s handwriting and said they would call and clear it up. I never heard anything back so I assumed the issue had been resolved. I was okay that it wasn't there because I understand things happen and they are very busy. What I thought was completely ridiculous was how rude the women at the drop-off counter was. I understand people have bad days, but I was so angry because I didn't deserve that kind of treatment. I will be taking my perscriptions from now on to CVS where I was taking them before. They are so nice at CVS and are always willing to help with anything they can. There are plenty of people looking for jobs, this women should be happy so has one. I love going to Walmart in Berlin it always so clean and neat, we spend a lot of money here. We are a local family that is just very disappointed!! read more
