By far our favorite Walmart to shop at in the East Valley. We pass a couple of other locations just to get to this one. Huge parking lot in front of a large store. The employees are super friendly - literally from the greeter to the custodian to the deli lady, etc. The store is laid out well and always stocked really well. Great selections in every department and often we find stuff at this store that we couldn't at another. My MIL usually calls us and asks to check for something, and we usually find it and pick it up for her. Just this month, they had a ton of Christmas and seasonal items on clearance. It was like 4 or 5 regular aisles and extended out into the garden/outside area. We found several terrific bargains. They have a nice seasonal area - several aisles dedicated to Valentine's Day right now. The groceries are to the left, dog food back of the store and a little to the right, electronics, crafts, auto, and hardware all along the back, paint, toys, clearance, health and beauty, home goods and housewares on the right, then in the center it's mostly clothes and the seasonal. Best endcap items ever all along the front before the registers. Lots of impulse items. Friendly folks to help direct you to an open register or self-help register. They get you in and out quickly and are there to help with any issues. Definitely worth the drive. read more

This is my preferred Walmart in the valley In fact I pass 2 just to get to this one. I know you'd think all Walmart's are alike. But the thing is, I get actual help here, I find the items I really like, and even a few things I didn't know I'd need from time to time. Besides the people here are really helpful. These people sell packages just to not tell you that certain shots are not included and no it's not posted. after they traumatized my dog and bled him with poorly administered shots then they said oh it's an additional 60 dollars. Btw they give their shots on the legs which is why he needed to be muzzled. I have never seen shots needed to be given on the legs. This was animal cruelty. Then they tried to bully me into getting heart meds from the Walmart pharmacy. You're better off with petco or petsmart. These people at Walmart are butchers. And scammers read more

Never a fan of Walmart as they are too large and can be hard to find the product you need. Though this visit proved to be easy to locate sports items when a friend and her kid needed. Sadly the baseball glove we grabbed didn't have a tag, so it made the check out more difficult. I wouldn't choose to return as I prefer smaller stores personally. read more

I ordered tires on walmart.com and went here to get them installed. I did not have an appointment, but the gentleman said it would be our hour and a half. I walked around Walmart and gave them two hours. When I looked outside, my car had not even been moved, so I asked the lady behind the counter for a status update. She came back after several minutes and said it would be started on in 30 minutes and take about 45 minutes to complete to install three tires. I simply returned the three tires I purchased on walmart.com and she quickly credited my account. This store has zero emphasis on working With a sense of urgency. I will never purchase anything again from walmart.com. This by the way was my first purchase on walmart.com. read more

I visited this Walmart at 8:30 on a Monday evening and it was very busy. 40+ checkout stands and not one single cashier. I had over 50 items in my order, $250 total purchase, asked an employee if there was a cashier that could open up, and he said "no... You will have to check out at self check out." Took me more than 10 minutes, half of the items wouldn't scan, what a total nightmare. Shame on the manager for This type of non-staffing. read more

Can I do 0 stars? Idk but it's a 50/50 shot you'll either run into really nice employees or super rude employees. I get the whole loading in mass quantities of self checkouts HOWEVER only 5 or 6 are up and running and you've got a cart full of items, whyyyyyy is there always just one, one single lane with a human cashier?!?!?! Also, fix your damn money center and check your phones since all it does it go to a dead line with any option that's selected. Would have been nice for someone to have answered and not have had to drive all the way there to be told after 3-4weeks their money gram services have been down. read more

My biggest issue with this Walmart is they seem to be managed poorly as they are always out of stock, especially pharmacy and bathroom item. The store also filthy. Dirty floors. Bathroom smelled. I recommend the Walmart local market on Chandler Blvd and Cooper. I drive a little further but they have what I want. read more

I order a few items today from Walmart, and a couple of items were available locally, so I had to go in and pick them up at the store. Apparently since last week Walmart has decided that pickup orders must be done outside of the store in the pickup system. You can no longer walk to the counter in the store and pickup an order. In order to use the outdoor pickup system apparently you must have the Walmart app to check-in. Screw that! I finally stopped someone after waiting 10+ minutes after pushing the button for service in the pickup bay. He checked me in, alone with 3 other people who were just as confused with their system. 15 minutes later he came back out with my 3 small items, and everyone else's stuff. I could have filled the order myself and paid for it at least 3 times in the time it took me to do the Walmart demanded curbside pickup. Their call button doesn't do anything, and the phone number for service they posted goes to a voicemail box that's full. Apparently the Walmart people aren't capable of using their own simple technologies, like call buttons and phone services. NEVER AGAIN! read more

this Walmart location typically has a really good two for six deal when it comes to Doritos chips. My family loves behind the big bag of dorito chips in this store really has them at a pretty good price. They even have the big family size bags that we like they also have the Lay's potato chips as well and the sour cream and onion is a type of chips that typically gets sold out a lot of different location but this place usually has them I did purchase a cell phone from this location and unfortunately the box was damaged. I'm not too sure what happened but hopefully they are willing to refund my money read more

By far the worse customer service I have experienced at a Walmart. Things aren't stocked in the proper spot and then when you go to check out the items ring up differently, so keep an eye on things. This is my closest Walmart when I am in Arizona. It is also one of the huger ones in the area which means they have a wider selection. I've been shopping here off and on probably since it was built. I usually hit the Walmart and the Goodwill on the same day. On my most recent visit I was looking for a specific shirt that I had seen at the Riverview Walmart. They had a beautiful tie dyed green shirt with a shamrock on the front that would be perfect for St. Patrick's Day but they were out of my size. I had been to two other Walmarts looking for the same shirt with no luck and finally popped into this one. Lo and behold they had it, in fact they had several of them. I was very happy and bought one for myself and one for my daughter. The price was certainly right, under $8 each. I haven't had any complaints about this store that I can remember over the years. It appears to be relatively clean and I can usually find someone to help me if I have a question. In fact, I have had occasions when a clerk walking past me would ask me out of the blue if I was finding everything okay. That's a great way to provide customer service and it doesn't happen everywhere. I'm not a morning person so I usually end up coming here in the evening. Generally the lines don't seem to be too bad and they keep them moving. This store is so huge that it does wear me out so it's not a place I would want to come into normally if I just needed one or two items but the price is usually right when I do find what I'm looking for. read more

if i could leave zero stars thumbs down that would be it. i usually come to this location because it's not filthy and for the most part stocked up with great prices well tonight the prices were not worth the trouble/ mortifying realization i came to when only ONLY self check out was available to check out my whole weeks worth of groceries i had just spend hours shopping for. i couldn't leave my cart. both sides of the self check out at both sides of the stores had lines wrapped into the vegetables section and the medicine section. if we have to bag our own items i need more then 15 pepsi for $6. I go to Walmart for the value. But there's a great deal of apathy and quite frankly yes stupidity. It is amazing that such a large company runs so poorly. Their systems don't work and they don't care. Their manager leaves so the entire department closes. They lose parts from your car which you have to replace at your own cost. And if this is what you see them do, how can you trust the work they perform. The lack of ownership that most employees display is sobering. I mean, even when seers started to stumble they still ran their stores far more professional even Walmart has done now in many years at many many locations. First off customer svc doesn't open till 7am, online just list store is 24hrs so that could be uploaded or at least listed. The last few times I've come on lunch about 1215 or so there is more than 10ppl in line at customer svc and 1 person , I always feel so bad for that 1 person. I come regularly because it's close to my work, most of the employees are unhappy especially the older ones, very unhelpful as well. It's only been a few times I've been here and felt like the employees were grateful to be employed. If anything it's the young ones that are more cheerful and helpful. How I loathe thee...but there are certain things I can only get here, like 5-20 synthetic blend from Motorcraft so it becomes a necessary evil. Also, it's open 24 hours and when flu season or allergies hit and it's midnight and some relief is needed it's nice to have somewhere to get stuff. In one Walmart module, it says delivery was for December 8th 2021, in another Walmart shopping module, these say expected arrival is for December 15th, 2021. I hate Walmart always have. But I had to go here and do shopping as part of my job. Never again! After getting all of my groceries into the card I usually go to the self-serve checkout and do each order one by one for all the people I have to shop for. I also use cash. This is what is given to me by my residents. After completing two of my orders the cash machine would no longer take my bills. When I asked for assistance the cashier told me that the machine is out of change and will not let you continue in cash. She suggested I go to another register. So I did. That also would not take my cash. I then stated that this was not working. The manager was nearby and heard what I was saying and basically just walked away. Leaving the poor cashier to deal with an angry customer, me. She then suggested that I go in line where there is a cashier to complete my shopping. There was one register open with a cashier you heard me one. In a 20,000 square foot store. There was 20 people in line. Something wrong yeah Walmart has no customer service and never has. I cannot believe people will sacrifice shopping here for a few pennies. there are a lot of things that are not cheaper at walmart. I hope people start to go back to shopping at smaller businesses. read more

This place employs the least competent people of any Walmart I've been to. I attempted to return an item through their curbside return, so I showed the employee the barcode and handed him the items. He assured me he didn't need to scan the barcode. Unsure, I said okay and left. Later, after running other chores I realized he was wrong and I wasn't going to be receiving my money back. I drove back to this Walmart and after speaking with 3 employees and waiting at least an hour in the customer service line for them to call a "coach", i finally got my refund when he scammed the barcode. read more
