As a single woman, I would only go shopping here in the very early morning hours literally before 7 ideally and never after 10am. This is referred to as the ghetto Walmart in town and for very apparent reasons. I am writing to formally complain about my recent experience with the Walmart Tire & Auto Center at this location and with the staff under the manager John. I had a tire appointment scheduled for several days and specifically chose tires that were listed as in store because I have an important medical appointment that requires me to drive over two and a half hours. Despite planning ahead and confirming availability, my appointment was cancelled via email only four hours before I was scheduled to travel. When I called to ask for an explanation, the associate who answered was rude and extremely unhelpful. I was placed on hold five separate times and then disconnected entirely when I asked to speak with a manager. During the call, I was told that a refund could not be issued, but that I could instead be charged again for $94 per tire -- despite already having paid. As a single-income individual, I do not have an additional $250 to spend due to an error on Walmart's end. After being disconnected, I attempted to call back multiple times and was unable to reach anyone in any department. This experience made me feel as though I did not matter as a customer and that my money was being treated as disposable. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic courtesy was extremely disappointing. I am beyond saddened by how customers are treated at this establishment. read more

I'm a shut-in and have Walmart+ so I get my purchases delivered. Store #1200 is dependable, the employees are mostly very kind and helpful, (we all have bad days...) and I especially appreciate that most of the time they are stocked with everything I order. Considering how huge they are, the amount of stocking involved, the number of customers they serve, and the low prices, I'm happy with them. I've never smelled any off odors, the floors are clean, I get my prescriptions refilled, do my banking, grocery shopping, clothes, household goods, and just about everything I need under one roof. And except for the bank, all of it delivered to my door, at very reasonable prices. Ten stars, Walmart! read more

Nothing better to complete the genuine feeling of living in a corporate dystopian nightmare than electronic surge price labels. Beware this is a way to electronically increase prices, during high traffic times. Its bad enough they shut down all the self checkouts, and not open enough cashier counters to ease the long lines. But now they'll raise the prices when you are standing in that unnecessary line. Don't get me started on the fake rubber fruits they sell (look it up). On February 28th 2025 I went to Walmart for a simple oil change. After 1 1/2 my car was pulled out of the garage and I thought the oil change was complete. After that the oil technician re entered the store and asked if it was ok to put 5 20w instead of 0 20w. What was going on for the last 1 1/2 hours while my car was in the garage and then pulled out? After leaving I noticed my car was running a little different as I explained to a friend of mind and after not even 2 days I noticed my oil pressure light came on and a knocking noise. I then pulled my car over on Cache la Poudre and Custer and noticed a really big oil spot underneath and called walmart customer and explained. I then called my insurance company to have it towed back to the same walmart store #01200 to then having been told that they filled the oil but it now has a leak and they didn't know where it was coming from and he hung up in my face after questioning him. I checked the the dipstick the next day and noticed it was way beyond the maximum limit. My car which is a 2010 Toyota Camry XLE had no problems prior to taking it to get the oil change at that location. They responded after I customer service escalated the issue and said if it's 1-$800 of damage to bring the invoice and they would pay for it and if It's over $800 they would have to make a claim and settle it that way. Diagnosis cost up to $150 and it should not have to be paid by myself. I have receipts and witnesses for the incident. read more

This place just feels dirty: from the heavy scent of marijuana in the parking lot, the "oldness" look of the building, the rundown inside, the disorganization, and just the weird smells in the store. Employees do not greet you or check-in if you need anything. Hannah- cashier- was a bit difficult with the coupons and asked if they could just throw the coupons away and not use them. I said "no." I mean- what kind of question is that?! Take the coupons and just throw them away?! What was the point of me bringing the coupons then?! Hannah said that Walmart systems do not like coupons from Coupons.com and "no one uses paper coupons anymore." Anyways....after that struggle and the unimpressive in-store shopping experience- will not be returning to this location. read more

If you want horrible customer service and absolutely rude staff look nowhere else than the Walmart on Platte. I was shopping and needed a question answered so I asked an associate ( Maddison I believe ) and she immediately gave me an absolutely horrid facial expression and said " i really just don't want to deal with you right now maybe in minute ". I've never heard anything like this from a costumer service agent. I understand what a bad day is and wouldn't have went as far as to write a review if there wasn't more to the story. After a few minutes I was passing the section I had seen her in before and she was smoking a cannabis wax cartridge. Puffing like a dragon. I HAVE KIDS!! Very disappointed, I've tried 3 days at all times of day. I wanted to order a good amount of chicken for a birthday party. I'd call the phone just rang, onetime I waited 10 mins ringing and nothing. I'd call the front they transfer and the phone would ring about 20 times and all of a sudden click, call cancelled...very disappointing, wantedto order for ano/er party in August but I guess that's not going to happen. I visited this store to get a replacement headlight for my car. I was able to find the bulb I needed the only problem was that it was locked. There was an associate nearby so I asked for help. He told me he was going to call somebody. He did because i heard it on the store loudspeaker but nobody came. I waited 20 mins & decided to call the store. I asked to get somebody to unlock a bulb I needed & was told yea, right away, 15 mins later nothing. I saw associate after associate pass by but none of them were able to help since it seems like only one person was the one that had the key. Seriously? If you are not going to staff a section that has locked items how do you expect to sell such items? This place is ridiculous. read more

They don't accommodate pregnant women. Me and my 8mon. Pregnant wife waited for for 45mins. for an employee to get the key for the baby cabinet. After we waited and asked 4 different people to get someone to help a young worker had to inform us that because of management lacking common sense every worker with a key way sent home. The managers are apparently not capable of holding keys to departments within the store they run. read more

The premade fried chicken from the deli. Worst flipping fried chicken I've ever had in my life. My flatmate also bought some kind of premade chicken from the deli, maybe it was sesame chicken or something, but I had to try it so I took a piece and sure enough, it was the same terrible chicken. The feeling of staving to death is more enjoyable than eating this chicken. I suggest anything else besides this deli. It would be nice to grab some chicken while out grocery shopping but it ain't happening here. Everything sucks at this Walmart. You would think a big greedy billion dollar conglomerate could figure out how to make some chicken. read more

I did an online grocery order yesterday and chose Express delivery (it was delivered by a Door Dash employee). When I looked at my bill online, I see that I was charged $7.95 for Delivery (as if Wal-Mart employee delivered it) and $10 for Express! Spoke to an employee who says this is how they do it! I went to pick up a grocery order. They alerted my app that the order was ready half an hour early. I got there at 10 am. at 10:05am I called the stores grocery pick up department and told them my name and spot number. After being there for 20 minutes an associate stopped by and asked my name for the order. after another ten minutes I made sure my wife had checked in on the app with my spot number. after saying my last name she said, "oh yeah that's right." At 12 o'clock I was still waiting. I walked up to an associate trying to deliver orders of people who had waited way less than me and asked where my order was. he informed me I hadn't even checked. I told him I called, I used the app and I talked to an associate 2 times. he still took ten minute getting me my order. this location has done this to me multiple times. they seem to not care. what more should I expect from Walmart? they follow me around their stores and they don't care about their customers! read more

In this case my experience was above and beyond it was amazing and I am so glad that this man was working there today. His name is Fred he helped me without hesitation. He was so amazing that I had to go speak to a manager just to let them know how good he was doing because when everybody else wouldn't help me he did. I will not come to this Walmart unless I have my husband with me. I think I should have walked out as soon as I saw all of the undercover cop guys all around the Walmart keeping track of everyone. I have talked to several employees and they say that there has been a lot of stealing at this location and fights as well. I also talked to a staff member about always having a long line when I go to check out. The lady that I talked to said that they are extremely under staffed and never have enough people to help with check-out. Even the supermarket area in this Walmart is less than sub-par. The vegetables always look smashed and stuff is always out of stock at this location. I will try my best to drive a little further to the one on Space Center Drive. read more

But the store is decent sized and staff are pretty good at keeping friendly even with all the crazy events that happen in that store. Since I moved here in 2006, this Walmart's ice cream (no matter what brand or kind I got) tasted like it had been 1/3 way melted and refrozen. Never had any issues buying ice cream from any other Walmart or any other grocery stores. Unfortunately, this Walmart is only a few blocks away from where I live.
