This Walmart is the closest to the city of Richardson and is close to the city border and easily accessible from the 75 Central Expressway. Service is hot and miss since Walmart is always busy but at least they had some of the stuff I wanted. Plenty of places to park. For anyone that is near the city of Richardson this is your Walmart and you should not have to drive any further. read more

I am deaf. I had an incident with an employee a few weeks ago. I keep getting "randomly" selected for a cart check using scan and go. The same employee still did not know how to complete it. Apparently she still doesn't know where/who managers are. At least this time she went to get help instead of doing some sort of made up sign language gestures. She came back with person 1 (not manager), escalated to person 2 (I don't know I'm just a register person), person 3 (African lady who turned name badge around backwards and refused to tell me her name when asked twice), NOW a shift lead and a male employee comes over. They explain that ALL people who use scan and go are "randomly" selected and it isn't because I'm being accused of shoplifting. Just like every single transaction before, all items were scanned correctly. I told the female manager about the employee last time who refused to get a manager and was just rudely yelling and gesturing at me. I told her last time I went to customer service and no one was there. She professionally apologized and then left. The male employee told me they don't allow recordings. This is likely due to the fact he knows selecting me WASNT random and recording discrimination is incriminating. read more

My mom went up here to get me syringes bc I ripped my insulin pump out but they wouldn't allow her to buy any, Called the pharmacy twice just to immediately be put on hold by two different associates, one male & one woman. **Edit to add: called a 3rd time and when they placed me on hold call disconnected so there's that. 4th time a man told me they would sell syringes if "I passed a test of what I needed them for" so I guess there's that or if they don't like how you look it's an automatic no. read more

Incredible how slow it takes for pickup orders to be completed. My friend ordered a squishmallow and we waited 56 minutes for someone to deliver. However nobody did. We only order one item when people around us who had been there for less time already received their items. We had to flag down a worker to get attention who finally got the manager to get our item. Managers name is Allie, she got her supervisor, Abel and he said there was nothing more he could have done to compensate the whole entire HOUR we waited for one item. Allie said that the workers were not doing their job and that's why it was taking forever. I am in complete disbelief at the lack of order and responsibility of this place. Oh My! Was going to return a couple of items at the customer service and I had the rudest woman!!!! She told me I couldn't return my items due to I hadn't purchased them at her location....had my receipt and it WAS another Walmart location, but have never had any problems ever?!!! Customer service closes at 7 PM .... ‍ that is extremely early for a store that closes at 11 pm. None of the Walmarts have their customer service desk hours available. I drove all the way to the other side of town to exchange something at the same Walmart that I bought it at. Dear GOD, I hope the owners of this store read these reviews. If you do, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do something about people leaving their shopping carts all throughout the parking lot! I have come out MULTIPLE TIMES to buggies parked ON my car or rammed into someone else's. Each time I drive through this parking lot there are at the VERY LEAST 20 buggies scattered throughout the parking lot just WAITING to be blown into someone's car. It's upsetting and ridiculous! I know that you cannot control inconsiderate patrons leaving their carts abandoned, but it's literally so bad and such a high quantity that something needs to be done. Secondly, today in the parking lot I was approached by two men. No idea what they wanted because I walked right past them and said I was in a hurry. One of the guys went from smiling at me to death glaring me and honestly freaked me out so badly that I almost asked for a manager to walk me out to my car. Thankfully, my fiancé said he would drive up there if they were still there when I was ready to load my car up. Bottom line... we don't feel safe shopping at this location. A few months back some crazy mf stole the center piece of my fiancés hub cap rIght in the middle of your parking lot. Crime and criminals are crawling in your parking lots. How do we fix this?!?! It is of NO HELP that the Walmart on 75 was turned into a distribution center. A place we actually kind of felt safe to shop at. This location is beyond scary and something needs to be done! When this store first opened I didn't know my way around so I asked several employees to point me in the right direction. NONE of them spoke English nor understood WTH I was asking of them. I don't mind foreign citizens in our country as I know they left their country due to violence, poverty etc. However, when you move to another country you need to speak the language. I discontinued shopping at Walmart after I saw the documentary on Netflix; Walmart: the high cost for a low price. They hire these people because they can pay them below minimum wage, no benefits and treat them like dirt. I'm not giving my money to Walmart! Their food and produce is low quality and most of their products are made in China. Probably by some poor kid in a sweatshop making toys and clothes. I petitioned against this Walmart being built but of course this huge corporation that makes up 1% of the United States economy got their way. The worst experience I have ever had. I drive up to the drive through waiting for someone to help me. After about 10 min I call the store and I am informed they are at lunch until 2pm Ok, is there a reason they can't post this?? I go back at 2pm and wait 10 min The pharmacist tells me it's $105.42 I said I have insurance and give him my insurance card. He tells me to come back in 20 min. I go back and I am told this is not the right card. I ask him to please look on my wife's insurance she is on my plan. I am told no they will not look on my wife's plan. The moral of the story is when Walmart calls you and says it's ready ...it's not If they just could have told me they needed my medication card when they left a message it would have prevented all of this. Some people judge Walmart as a necessary evil, and others simply don't like them at all. This is a new Walmart that was largely contested by the neighborhood in which it was built. There were petitions, threats of boycotts, city council meetings, the whole works. The crazy thing, was people were fighting to keep a decaying strip center that was largely empty sans a 12 step program that resided in one of the vacant storefronts. As with most battles Walmart takes on, they won and we got a little economic revitalization in the neighborhood. ..thanks Walmart! Keeping respectful of the neighborhood, who by the way did NOT boycott them, this is not a 24 hour store. What this is is a breath of fresh air, clean and well-kept store. Dropped some film off here about two weeks ago, came back to check if it was ready but the last at the photo center rudely told me it wouldn't be done for another 3-4 weeks without checking when i dropped off my film. it's now 2 weeks and every time i call or check they have no way to check where my film has gone. Walmart's policies are whacked, right down to those stupid "scan & go lanes they have. It's bad enough you're on CCTV while you're scanning your merchandise, but they have a cashier standing guard in front of you to make sure you're not stealing anything when in reality they can be "DOING THEIR JOB" of CHECKING THE CUSTOMERS OUT THEMSELVES instead of being a human CCTV !! The problem with Walmart compared to somewhere like Fry's, at Fry's EVERYONE shows their receipt when exiting the store where Walmart picks and chooses who they stop. Yes, yes... everybody hates Walmart. They're evil, they are part of the New World order, yadda, yadda, yadda, BUT A good majority of us still shop there. So do we really hate it that much?! This is a fairly new store that was opened almost a year ago after the smaller neighborhood Walmart down Coit closed down. This store isn't as large as a full-size Walmart but it is a bit bigger than your neighborhood Walmart. Every time I've been into the store, it is always clean, neat and orderly. There are hardly any empty shelves, most of the time the fruit and vegetables are all stocked up and the staff is fairly friendly. As they were building this store, I wondered how they were going to fit a Walmart in such a small location and with the small parking lot, but the store seems fairly large and adequate enough once you get inside. The only thing I don't like about the store is the face detection cameras that are located at face level as you walk in and out of the store and directly above the main entrance as you walk in. These are used to scan your face, and eventually match you up into the Walmart database. Walmart will eventually be able to identify who you are, you're shopping habits and probably be able to scan and search to see if you have any arrest warrants or wanted by the police for any reason. The cameras they have positioned all over their parking lot and on the outside of the building are also able to scan your license plates to keep in their database and match them to you eventually. They're able to search license plate databases to secure your name and address, etc. and then they can match that with your credit card receipts and eventually to your face for a complete profile. So if you value your privacy, you might want to watch shopping at newer Walmarts! Otherwise, this new Walmart is clean, it's always stocked and I have hardly ever seen it busy. read more

The store had some minor issues related to stocking and presentation of goods but that is the only reason they lost a star. read more

Walmart is addictive. It makes you crazy and angry, but you still find yourself going back for more. Walmart Neighborhood Markets are a good way to get just what you need without getting aisle rage or seeing inappropriate things. They've taken a Super Walmart and made it 1/4 of the size to include only your essentials. Food, laundry detergent, personal items, a few lightbulbs, cookware, school supplies, and a few automotive goods. It's like going into a Walgreens or CVS, except they have groceries and fresh produce! Despite the smaller size, it's hard to notice that anything is missing because you can still find exactly what you need. It might not be the brand you wanted, but you will still find what you need. I like this location because they keep things in stock. Parking is also easy and I've never ever waited in a checkout lane. read more

I love this Walmart. Most of the staff know where things are so you don't have to look; if a staff member does not know they have directed me or called someone who knows. The pharmacy honestly is the best part of this location though. Taio, the pharmacist, really cares about all his "patients." PHARMACY REVIEW: Terrible service. The pharmacist is so friendly and outgoing but the wait to actually get your prescription is ridiculous. The first time it happened to me I let it slide because I thought it was just a bad day but today makes the third time. I even called ahead and was told 10 minutes every time. An HOUR later waiting at the store, and my prescription was finally ready. And like I said, that happened the past 2 times! This third time, got the whole ten minute lie and then after waiting 30 minutes, was told it was almost ready. I waited for almost an hour total in their waiting area again, then I was told they didn't have the prescription in stock and needed to go to another Walmart. Terrible service. Do NOT recommend coming here. The Walmart store isn't huge but it isn't small like the a neighborhood market either. The store is clean and well kept. I'd give the pharmacy zero stars if possible but can't. The rest of the store, although smaller than most supercenters, is clean and pretty decent. I'd give the rest of the store a 3 1/2-4 so averaged it out to a 2 star rating with the pharmacy included. Hope this helps. read more

I shopped at the Walmart's at Arapaho and Coit this morning. It is the best experience I have ever had at a Walmart. My riding cart ran out of power and I was stuck at the back of the store. An employee tried to find me another cart but they were all taken. He stayed with me and pushed the riding cart around the store to finish my shopping. Took me to my car and unloaded groceries into the trunk of my car. His name is Kasner. He has been the most considerate employee I have ever seen at Walmart's. He is friendly and efficient. This Walmart sold me ham sandwich meat at the deli counter (so they cut it up for me) and when I got home it said the use by date was that day. I went back and the manager said they would not give me my money back or give me more meat even though she said that the deli shouldn't have sold me that meat. read more

I had a bad experience at this Walmart yesterday at about 12:30 pm with the lady at the counter where you get the hot food. Foreign woman that wears the head wrap. I was getting one of the plate specials. I was quick and decisive with what I wanted, esp since I was on my way to work. Told her the entree I wanted, and as she was bending over getting my chicken tenders, with her face behind the glass she asks what side did I want? Well I didn't hear what she said since she had her face was behind the glass. Plus she said it low, and nonchantly. So I asked her what did she say. I said it all politely, bc up to that point I thought we'd been having a regular, decent interaction. She didn't repeat herself at first, I had to say I'm sorry I didn't hear you. Then after a few seconds she Finally repeats herself, and with an attitude "what sides do you want?" Then when she was done making my plate I asked for some ketchup. She says you want ketchup, then points to the container on the the counter, and says there's none there. I said no, as I looked again to be sure. I had already looked before. So she weighs my food, puts the label on it, hands it to me, ready to go to the next person behind me, (was only one other person), while I continue to stand there. Then she says "oh you want ketchup?" Like we didn't just talk about this 5 seconds prior. She didn't say it like "oh yeah, you wanted ketchup didn't you". Then she finally walks to get the ketchup. As she was getting the ketchup I said to the other guy (a young white guy) I know you heard me ask for ketchup. He said "oh yeah". I felt like it was rude. And I'm not going to be spending my money anywhere where anyone is rude to me for absolutely no reason. As a born citizen of this country, I can't stand getting this from a foreigner as well. My experience here can be described as nothing but terrible. I came simply for a flu shot at the pharmacy but that was a disaster. The two people manning the counter didn't speak functional English and didn't know how to work the system. After trying to figure out the insurance card for 15 minutes they took my card and disappeared into the back. 20 minutes later I had to go through the line of the pharmacy again just to get my insurance card back because they seemed to have forgotten about me. The customer service is horrendous. I will NEVER shop here again. In the past we have had bad customer service here, but today took the cake. A male checker yelled at my wife for having beer in her cart. We moved here from Las Vegas not too long ago where you can buy alcohol anywhere at any time. We had no clue there is a law here stating you cannot buy beer until 11am on Sundays. The checker yelled at my wife screaming, "You can't buy this! What are you doing?! I should make you put this back!" The man in front of her was nice enough to explain the law as the checker continued to fume and yell. She apologized saying she didn't know. He continued to make a scene. She was so upset she didn't know what to do. We are so upset we will NEVER shop here again. I will make sure I tell all of my neighbors that shop here about this.
